Chapter 223 Executing Marvin (Part One)

Just as Billy and Marvin caught up to the guy and had him surrounded,they could finally see his face and recognize who it was they had beenchasing all this while. To their utter astonishment, it was Austin they hadbeen plotting to kill.

They stood transfixed in fear, not having expected to come acrossAustin like this before they had set their plan in motion. They had seenhow Austin had defeated Timothy in the Top Ten Outer DisciplesChallenge and they doubted that they could take him down bythemselves.

"How's it going, brothers? It's been a while since we met,” Austingreeted them, a mocking smile on his face.

It had been Austin’s plan to lure them out of the darkness. Even beforehe had overheard their conversation, he had known that these peoplewere conspiring to harm him. And now, he had proof of theirconspiracy. Tonight might be the time to end them once and for all. Asto strength, Austin did not think it difficult to kill them considering thathis cultivation base was much stronger than theirs.

"Austin, what do you mean making us come here in the middle of thenight?"

Marvin barked, scowling and vindictive.

But as he assessed the situation, Marvin had a revelation. As much asAustin was strong and competent and was at level nine of the EnergyGathering Realm, he himself wasn't bad at strength. He was at the samelevel as Austin but the only difference between them was that Austinwas a tad superior because he had acknowledged the level two swordintent and obtained a tougher and stronger fist force.

But Marvin had his own strengths as well. He knew fighting Austin byhimself was stupid, so he enlisted Billy's help to implement his wish.Although Billy wasn't as strong as Austin, he wasn't completely useless.He was at level eight of the Energy Gathering Realm, only one levelbelow Austin and Marvin, which was why Marvin believed that Billycould be of much help to him. Combining Billy's and his strengths gaveMarvin the hope that they could take Austin down.

After balancing the pros and cons of the situation in his head, Marvinbegan to become relaxed and a little cocky. He lifted his head to look atAustin in defiance.

"Are you kidding me? What do I mean? I could ask you the samequestion. You two were plotting against me and talking about killingme in the middle of the night like ugly sewer rats. Now that I am righthere in front of you, shouldn't you be pleased that you don't have towaste your time and energy looking for me?" Austin said sardonically.The look on their faces had him burst into laughter. He was clearlyenjoying their being made a fool of.

Now that Austin had known what they were up to, it was pointless topretend that Marvin and Billy weren't looking to harm him. And a fightwas definitely on the cards.

Furious at Austin's indifference and fearlessness, Marvin wiped off theawkwardness from his demeanor and steeled himself.

"You are right," he said viciously. "You saved us from trouble by justhaving the nerve to challenge us here. I won't try to deny anything nowthat I know that you overheard us. I want you dead. It is true. You arenothing but a stupid, cowardly, despicable creature in my opinion. Youplayed your dirty trick on Beast Mountain and stole away more thantwenty of my best earth spirit fruits.

And you expect me not to hate you? I was planning to achieve the vitalenergy Earth Realm with the help of those fruits. You ruined my planand disgraced me, you son of a bitch!

How dare you make fun of us now? I could never sleep in peacewithout taking revenge, without watching you die. Only your death canbring me peace and fulfill my wish!"

Marvin's face twisted in hate as the memory of the past came pouringforth. The ire in his eyes crackled dangerously as if it could flare up andburn Austin to the ground at any moment.

Austin's smile had long vanished, replaced by repulsion at the hideousviciousness on Marvin's face. He knew he would throw up in disgust ifhe listened to more of Marvin's depraved words.

"How on earth does a despicable person like you exist? Who told youthat they were your earth spirit fruits? When on Beast Mountain, we allfought hard and fought together as members of the Evil Ape HuntingTeam. That is why we were able to defeat those two evil apes at thetime. Every single one of us made efforts in the cause, or the beastscould have killed us!

Obtaining those fruits meant that it was reasonable for all the membersof the Evil Ape Hunting Team to own those earth spirit fruits together.But to our extreme disappointment, you were selfish and wanted tokeep them to yourself. Plus, in order to achieve your purpose, youbutchered three members of the team mercilessly. And now you havethe gall to come after me for those fruits?

It sounds absolutely ridiculous that you mention the fruits after the sinyou have committed. Haven't you got the slightest sense of shame, youtotal bastard? Don't you have any dignity?" Austin raged. As he pausedto catch his breath, he came to a decision.

"I think it's time to finish this. I will kill you and I will avenge the threemembers of the team. Today is your last day on earth.”

Then, Austin pulled out his Violet Royal Sword from its sheath. As itemerged, the sword zinged, and a strong, chilly sword radianceemanated from the blade.

Austin had had enough of Marvin and Billy's trying to ruin hisreputation and trying to kill him. He wanted this to end today.

Ready to slaughter, Austin raised the sword high up in the air. His eyesflared with two rays of sharp, terrifying gaze, reflecting the wrath thatswirled in his head against the two men. A gust of mysterious swordaura emerged from the sword, circling it with increasing gust. The leveltwo sword intent began to unfold before Marvin's and Billy's eyes.When Austin’s vital energy began transmitting to the Violet RoyalSword like water flowing from one end to another, the sword glintedgolden under the clear white moonlight. Seeing that Austin hadconveyed his desire to the Violet Royal Sword and that he had resolvedto kill them, they knew that they were destined to fight to deathtonight.

"Let's fight him with all our might! Don't give him the chance to fightback. Doing so would be our downfall because we may not be able towithstand his attack, especially his fists,” Marvin reminded Billy, his eyesfixed on Austin.

Marvin clapped suddenly and began to gather his vital energy betweenhis hands as he circled them before him. The vital energy turned earthlyyellow and the smell of soil was soon assaulting their senses.

As the color of Marvin's vital energy became darker and the smellbecame thicker, thunder and lightning began to appear. Flashes oflightning whirled around Marvin's hands like snakes, while the thunderroared and clattered. Within seconds, hundreds of palm projections hadspouted from the swirl of vital energy.

The Giant Magic Palm was Marvin's strongest skill. After the palmprojections were released, he activated his level one palm intent andtransferred his intention and vital energy to the palm projections.Within moments, the palm projections began to enlarge and glowedwith a strong, bright light.

Beside him, Billy was also displaying the skill he excelled at. Gatheringhis vital energy, he clenched his hands, causing the long spear he wascarrying on his back to shoot out and reach his hand.
