The unwanted wife’s unexpected comeback -
Chapter 37
Chapter 37:
? ? ? ? ?
Alicia struggled a lot to recover the deleted video from the cloud.
Unable to see the first sections, he quickly moved on to the last part.
In that segment, she was completely naked.
Caden had wanted to stop because they lacked protection, but she clung to him desperately, refusing to let go as she thrust and rubbed against him relentlessly.
Caden paused for a moment, enjoying his embarrassing situation.
He finally decided to help her, using his fingers to relieve her.
Alice's face turned red as she watched the recording. It was all too overwhelming for her.
She couldn't believe she had acted so brazenly. Caden had only used his fingers, and yet she had orgasmed several times.
Alicia held her breath and turned off the video. An unusual heat ran through her body, causing tingling in certain areas.
That feeling stayed with her for a long time. Even when she met Monica at the restaurant, she still felt a little dazed.
Monica put her hands on either side of Alicia's face and examined her closely. “You're so pink. You look like you’ve really gotten over it.”
Alicia took a slow sip of water. “If Joshua can go this far for Lilliana, then I should be able to go this far too.”
Monica laughed mockingly. “That's not necessarily a good thing for Joshua. He's almost exhausted the family fortune to meet the demands of the Green family. How is he going to maintain that in the future?”
He added: "Also, given the Yates family heritage, can he really compete with Caden?"
Alice almost choked.
She wondered why their conversations always seemed to come back to Caden.
Monica handed him a napkin and advised, “Drink slowly.”
"I don't think Caden has any intention of competing," Alicia muttered.
“Who knows?” Monica replied. “When it comes to intelligence and skills, Caden always comes out on top.”
Alice looked at her hands.
She remembered the tears she had shed the night before. Although his words were blurry, Caden's face remained clear in her fragmented memories.
She never imagined she would replace herself crying in Caden's arms.
Her tears had flowed incessantly throughout the night, partly from grief and partly from relief.
The whole situation seemed completely absurd to him.
Alicia shook her head to clear her thoughts. Then she picked up the gift she had brought for Monica.
It was a valuable watch.
Monica was stunned. She asked: “Why did you buy something so expensive? You should save your money.”
Alice put the watch on her wrist.
“It's beautiful,” he said, his gaze softening. “I should have given it to you a long time ago.”
During those two years of marriage, she had struggled financially and always depended on Joshua for support.
Joshua wasn't contributing much, and Alicia was too embarrassed to ask for more. So she started working as a freelancer under the name Iris.
During all this time, Monica had helped her unconditionally.
Alicia reflected on the kindness she had received from Monica.
Suddenly, Monica's eyes filled with tears. "You didn't even buy one for yourself, you got one for me first."
"I'll buy one later; there's no hurry," Alice said sweetly.
They continued talking and ended up discussing their plans for the future.
“What are your plans now?” Monica asked.
“I want to open an art gallery,” Alicia said. “It’s a dream my mother always had and I want to help make it come true.”
Monica agreed.
“Composing for Gerry has increased your reputation, which will make things easier,” he said. He pulled out a card and handed it to Alicia. “Opening a gallery requires a lot of money. Take this.”
Alice felt a rush of heat, but decided to reject it. “I haven't started yet. I don’t need that much,” she said.
Monica insisted: "Take it, please, just in case you need it."
"If I need it, I'll let you know." Alice gently declined the offer.
After some discussion, Monica decided not to insist. “I will talk to my father about possible contacts. “He knows a lot of people who could help.”
Alice agreed.
The Flynn family was a business man and enjoyed great prestige within their social circle.
Alicia bought two boxes of high-end health supplements and accompanied Monica to visit Lennon Flynn, Monica's father.
Unexpectedly, as soon as Lennon found out about his plan, a sudden change occurred in him.
Lennon turned to the maid. “Please stay here with Miss Bennett,” he ordered.
Then he took Monica by the arm and led her into the study.
“I can't help with this matter,” Lennon whispered. “The problems Alicia has caused with the Green family are too serious. Are you bringing her into our home? Are you trying to jeopardize my business?”
Monica felt a surge of indignation. “But it’s Lilliana’s fault!” she protested. “Lilliana exploited Alicia’s talent to profit from the entertainment industry. “The truth had to come out at some point.”
Lennon acknowledged his point of view, but stressed the harsh reality. “Look at the internet now. Is anyone criticizing Lilliana? “Everyone is blaming Alice.”
Monica was stunned. “Why is Alicia being blamed?”
