N: I changed the name of Liana's daughter from Aliah to Asila from the previous chapter Alissa Soleil's POV

I woke up to the ray of sunlight hitting my face.

I slowly opened my eyes.

My eyes sleepily scanned the room and I remembered I was in the Palace and not in the city.

I pushed myself up and stretched my arms.

Then, I made my way out of the bed.

I took out pieces of clothing from my luggage and then prepared them then I went to the shower.

I took a morning shower and then did my usual routine.

I dried my hair and I slipped onto the clothes that I chose earlier.

I wore a white button front textured shirt romper paired with white sandals.

I styled my hair into a half up then I put a little bit of makeup to give my face a little color.

After that, I sat on my bed and grabbed my phone.

I saw a reply from Ma.

From: Ma

It's fine, darling. I'm fine here and I'm having fun and I hope you are there too. I miss you more, I do. Still, enjoy your timr with your family. I'll see you soon. I love you. I smiled and typed in a reply for her then sent it

I also sent a message to Calum then I put the phone in my pocket and decided that I should go down.

I made my way down and realized that everyone was busy.

I've been told last night that there would be a party tonight.

There, I would tell everyone.

A lot of Luke's family members aren't here but we plan on going to them by tomorrow to see them.

After that, I'll be off to the city again and I'll resume my life as it was.

That's my plan.

I made my way downstairs and was going to go to the garden to get some air.

When suddenly...

"Excuse me? Who are you?"

I stopped.

I froze at the familiar voice.

"Your majesty, she's your brother's visitor; miss Soleil" a helper said.

I gulped.

"Miss Soleil? And what kind of visitor are you to my brother?" she asked.

I bit my lower lip.

"Your majesty-" the helper tried to intervene.

"No. I want to know what kind of person this visitor of my brother is. After all, she's in my home" she cut the helper off.

I took a deep breath and slowly turned around.

Then, our eyes met and her eyes slightly widened.

"Liana" I said softly.

Her lips parted as her eyes teared up.

I felt my heart squeeze inside my chest as I too teared up.

I didn't think I'd see her until tomorrow.

She's going to give birth very soon so Luke said I shouldn't expect her to come to the party.

I understood that.

That's why we planned on going tomorrow instead.

But now, she's here.

Right in front me.

Staring back at me.

"Your majesty, are you okay?" the helper asked worried as a tear fell from Liana's eye.

I bit my lower lip as a tear fell from my eye as well.

Liana has changed so much.

I mean it was to be expected.

She's cut her hair shorter and she grew a bit taller.

She looked a lot more mature now than she was when I last saw her.

But what stunned me the most was when I saw her belly.

She was indeed carrying a child in her belly and that overwhelmed me the most.

"Liana" Eero came.

"What's wrong?" he asked her then he turned around to look at me with furrowed brows. "Why are you and what did you do to my wife?" he said.

I didn't answer as I just looked at him.

He's changed so much as well since I last saw him.

Eero walked towards me in a threatening matter but Liana immediately pulled him back. "No. Don't" she said.

I looked at her and she looked at Eero with an assuring expression.

Then, she looked at me again.

This time, she stepped closer to me.

My heart was beating so loudly inside of my chest.

It felt like it was going to burst.

Then, Lia stopped and she slowly reached her hand to me.

I stepped forward and her hand touched my face.

Lia burst into tears and she covered her mouth as she sobbed while looking at me.

"Ali" she cried then hugged me.

I hugged her back and my own tears streamed down my face.

Oh ghad.

I've missed my bestfriend so much.

"Oh my ghad" she sobbed.

"W-where have y-you been?" she cried hugging mw tighter.

"I'm sorry" was all that I could tell her right now as we both cried our eyes out.

Then, we started to calm down but Lia didn't let me go.

I caressed her back gently.

"I'm here now" I muttered and she hugged me more.

I glanced at Eero and he was examining me as well.

"Why don't we take a sit outside by the garden?" I suggested.

"We both need the air. And I'm also afraid you'll get too stressed out. It wouldn't be nice for the baby" I told her.

Lia looked at me and nodded with a sniff.

Then, she turned to look at her husband.

"I'll get the kids" he said and Lia nodded.

I almost forgot there were more.

I held Lia's hand and we walked to the garden together.

Lia clung onto my arm as if letting go meant she was going to lose me again.

That thought made my heart ache.

We reached the garden and I helped Lia sit down.

She was just staring at my whole being.

"You've..." she started.

"Changed?" I said.

"A little, yes" she said.

I smiled a little.

"I know. I think you have to" I pointed out with a small smile.

Lia smiled a little.

"I have" she said.

Then, we just looked at each other for a moment.

After such a long time.

We finally meet again.

"Where have you been all this time? We thought you..." Lia paused.

"A lot of things happened 13 years ago" I said.

"I'd like to tell all of you when everyone is finally here" I said.

Lia bit her lower lip.

"Mommy!"

Then a young girl and a little boy ran up to Lia.

Lia welcome them in her arms and I watched them in awe.

The young girl and the little boy looked at me.

The girl looked more like Eero while the little boy was definitely Lia's mini version.

They both looked adorable.

"Mom, who is she?" the girl asked curiously as she looked at me.

"Asila, Eeri, this is..." Lia said and looked at me.

"Your aunt Ali. Mommy's best friend" she said with a smile.

The kids looked at me in awe and I looked at them as I forced myself to not cry.

I stood up from my sit and crouched down to their eye level.

"Hi" I greeted softly.

"I'm aunt Ali" I introduced myself.

Asila was the one to step closer to me first.

"Can I hug you? Mommy always said that I should hug you when you finally come back" she said.

I glanced at Lia as she teared up.

Then, I looked at Asila and I nodded.

"Of course. I'd love a hug coming from you" I said.

Asila smiled and she hugged me.

I hugged her back with a smile on my face and a tear of joy escaped my eye.

This feels surreal to me.

I looked at Lia's daughter and I held her face as my eyes watered.

"Hi, Asila" I said softly.

"You're so pretty just like your mommy" I said.

Asila smiled widely and glanced at her mom.

"Really?" Everyone says I look more like my daddy" she said.

I smiled.

Then, I looked at Eeri.

"Hi, bud. I'm your auntie Ali" I said.

"Come on, E" Asila encouraged her brother.

Eeri hesitantly came closer and Asila held her brother's hand.

"It's okay" she assured him.

It was the cutest thing seeing how Asila cares for her brother and how Eeri was dependent on his sister.

"Hey, bud" I greeted him again.

"Hi" he greeted back shyly.

I smiled at him and didn't try to hold him because I knew he was still trying to get to know me and he was still uncomfortable with my presence.

"Lia"

Eero came and he walked over us looking at Lia and then glancing at me.

"Your parents and your brother are here, you guys might want to prepare-" he said but the door that led to the garden opened again.

"Lia, we got you your cravings we-"

I met eyes with him and he stopped at his tracks as he stared at me in surprise.

I smiled a little as I looked at him.

"Lucas" I said and stood up.

Lucas looked at me eyes wide.

Then, the door opened again and I saw Aunt Livi and Uncle Luan.

They glanced at Lucas.

"Lucas, what are you-"

Then, they followed his gaze and saw me.

They both stopped and froze on their spot as well.

Again, my heart was beating so fast in my chest as I looked at them.

"Auntie. Uncle" I said.

Suddenly, aunt Livi came running to me and I caught her in a hug.

"Oh my ghad" she muttered as she hugged me.

Then, she looked at my face and held it.

"Oh ghad" she said as she teared up.

"It's you. It's really you" she said and tears streamed down her face.

"You're alive" she said and hugged me again.

"I had hoped I was wrong. We hoped it was all wrong" she sobbed and I too started shedding tears once again.

"What happened to you, Alissa?" she said.

"I couldn't sense you anywhere. I could no longer see visions of you after I saw one where you had died in an accident. I couldn't get to you in any way since you left" she told me.

No wonder I was able to stay away from everyone.

Even aunt Livi couldn't get a hold of me.

When I ran away for the first time, she could keep track of how I was doing but when I left 13 years ago, she could no longer do that.

I wonder why.

Was it because I became an outcast and not a rogue?

Aunt Livi held my face again as she examined me.

Then, she smiled.

"We've missed you so much, Alissa" she said.

"I've missed all of you as well" I said and she hugged me again.

When we let go, Lucas and uncle Luan were already behind aunt Livi.

I looked at Lucas.

"Lucas, I-" I was about to say something when aunt Livi stepped aside but Lucas immediately hugged me.

"Took you long enough" he muttered.

I hugged him back and his hug on me tightened.

"Ghad, Ali" he said under his breath.

"I'm sorry" I muttered.

Then, I saw Luke exit the Palace and got out to the garden where we were.

I gave him a small smile.

After that, we all sat down together.

They all stared at me examining me.

"I'll take the kids inside. I think you guys need to talk" Eero said and he took the kids inside.

We still remained quite for a moment.

"What happened?" aunt Livi finally spoke up.

"It's...a long story" I said.

"We have time" Lucas said.

I nodded as I bit my lower lip then took a deep breath.

Then, I started telling them everything that happened just like how I told my family before.

They listened attentively and I continued until I was able to finish.

After that, we were quiet for a moment and I glanced at Luke and he gave me an assuring look.

"You were taken in by the Sun God" aunt Livi said.

I nodded.

"Yes" I said.

Aunt Livi nodded but after that, she seemed like she was in deep thought.

There was a moment of silence.

Then, I saw my brother and my parents coming.

"Excuse me for a moment" I said and they nodded and I stood up.

I walked over to my brother and my parents and gave them a hug.

"You guys are here" I said.

"Luke invited us for over for lunch" mom said.

I glanced back at Luke then looked at my family again and nodded.

"I just finished talking with everyone else" I told them.

They glanced at Luke's family.

"I see" mom said.

"Come. Let's sit together" I said and tmy family nodded.

Axel caressed my back and I looked at him and he gave me an encouraging smile.

I gave him an assuring smile.

We walked to Luke's family.

I'm sure everyone still needs a lot more time to process everything that I said.

I don't blame them.

I know everything that happened to me and to all of us in general was unexpected.

We sat down together and then started talking with each other.

At some point, the mood lightened more and more.

I looked at everyone as we talked and I smiled.

What a sight.
