Alissa's

POV

I grabbed the last pair of clothes I prepared and put it inside the bag.

I still had a lot of clothes back in the pack so I didn't have to bring too much.

I zipped the bag close and stared at it for a moment.

In a matter of hours, I'll be leaving.

Not for good but still.

I sighed.

Then, the door to my room opened and I expected Lia but saw someone else.

Luke.

I met eyes with him as he leaned by the wall of the door.

He didn't talk. He just looked at me.

"Aren't you going to say anything?" I said annoyed.

"If I say something, would you listen?" he said.

I didn't answer him.

"See?" he said and my brows furrowed.

Luke sighed.

"Go. Just be safe. Come back in one piece. Maybe by then, we can actually talk" he said and left.

I was left there as I bit my lower lip and clenched on my sheets.

I wanted to talk but my mind didn't want to. My pride didn't want to.

There was an ongoing was a battle inside of me.

I wanted him to regret but why was I the one struggling not being able to talk to him?

It's so unfair.

I sighed in frustration as I finished packing up.

After that, I went downstairs.

I need to go to my parents' and let them know that I'll be gone for a while.

Specially to Bryan.

I got out of the palace and made my way to tge cabins to see Bry.

I have to introduce him to my pack members as well. I think they'd really like to meet my brother.

Not long after, I arrived at the cabins and went to my parents' cabin.

I knocked on the door and moments later, it was opened by my mom.

"Hi, mom" I said and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Hi, sweetie" she said hugging me.

"Where's Bry?" I asked as we went inside.

"He's upstairs in his room playing, I think" she said.

My mom and I sat down on the couch and I turned to look at her.

"Mom, I'm going back to Sol" I said straightforwardly.

I saw how the color in her face drained and I realized that I didn't even give her a context of the situation.

"Oh no no no, mom. Not actually go back GO BACK. I'm visiting for a week or two with Liana. She wanted to visit so badly so we're going to do just that" I explained. My mom sighed in relief as she held her chest.

"Honey, you scared me. I thought I did something wrong again that made you want to leave" she said.

I hugged her seeing how nervous she was.

"I'm just going to visit the pack and I'll go back here as soon as I can, okay? We won't be too long since I have things I need to do here" I told her. My mom nodded.

"Okay. Just be safe" she said.

I nodded.

"I'll gi upstairs to tell Bry" I said.

My mom nodded.

I went upstairs to Bry's room. I knocked on the door before entering and saw him playing with his toys.

"Hey, buddy" I called out softly.

Bry looked at me and his smile widened as he got to hos feet and lunged at me for a hug.

I hugged him back and he gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I smiled and gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"Can we talk, bud?" I asked.

Bry nodded.

I carried my little brother to his bed and I sat down with him on my lap.

"Bry, I'm leaving for the time being" I told him.

Bry's brows furrowed.

"You're leaving? Why?" he asked.

"I'm visiting some of my friends from far away. Specifically the people from my old pack" I told him.

"When are you coming back?" he asked.

"In a week or two, I'll be back" I said.

"That's too long. Can I come? I don't want you to leave and be gone for a long time" he said pouting.

"You want to come?" I asked.

Bry nodded.

"But I'm not sure if mom and Axel will like that idea very much" I said.

My mom and Axel were never the biggest fan of Bryan and I being away even in the past.

They like keeping us around so they know we're safe.

"But I want to go with you" he said tearing up.

"Amd I do want to take you, buddy. But that's not my choice to make. It's your mommy and daddy's choice so why don't we go and talk to them?" I suggested.

Bry nodded and we got up and I let him down before he held my hand.

We walked out of his room and went downstairs where mom was busy making something.

Once we got down, Bry ran to the kitchen.

"Mommy!" he called mom while rushing to the kitchen.

"Yes, pumpkin?" mom asked as she turned to look at Bry.

"Mommy, can I please go with Ali? Pretty please with a cherry on top?" Bry said clinging to our mother's leg.

Mom looked at me with a surprised look.

"I told him and he insisted that he wanted to go. I said he could if he could get both your permission and Axel's" I said.

Mom picked Bry up.

"It's only a visit. Sol pack's territory is a really good environment for young pups. He also has a lot of other pups to play with there and I'll make sure he's safe, well accounted for and having the best time of his life" I said. "Some royal guards are also coming with because of Liana" I added

Mom sighed and looked at Bry.

"Do you want to go that badly?" she asked Bry.

Bry nodded enthusiastically.

Mom pouted a little.

"Okay but ask your dad as well" mom said and Bryan squealed excitedly as he hugged mom.

I smiled.

One down. Another to go.

"Come on, Ali. Let's replace dad amd ask him" Bry said enthusiastically.

I nodded.

Bryan pulled me out of the cabin.

"Axel is in the training hall!" mo shouted to us as Bry pulled me.

I nodded.

We made our way to tve training hall where Axel was.

When we got inside, we saw him training the guards.

They seemed busy but Bry wanted us to talk to his dad immediately.

He really wanted to get his approval so he cam come with me.

Bry let go of my hand and he ran to Axel

"Daddy!" Bry called for Axel.

Axel turned to look at Bry's direction and saw him.

Bryan got to Axel and crouched down to his eye level.

I started walking towards them.

"What are you you doing here, bud?" Axel asked Bry.

Bry pointed at me.

"Ali and I have something to tell you" Bry said.

Axel looked at me and glanced at Bry.

"Okay" Axel said then he motioned for the guards to continue what they were doing.

Then, he looked at me and motioned for me to come with him to the side with Bryan.

We walked over to the side and I gave Axel a small smile as a greeting.

"I'm going back to Sol" I told him.

I saw him tensed a bit in shock.

"It's only a visit. I'll go there with Liana and return after a week or two here" I said.

I saw instant relief on his face.

"Oh okay" he said nodding.

Then, I glanced at Bryan who was waiting for me to ask his dad the question.

"Bryan wanted to come. We wanted to know if it was okay with you? Mom already said yes" I told him.

Axel glanced at Bryan.

"I'll take care of Bryan and I promise he'll be safe with me. We also have royal guards with us so you don't have to worry too much" I said.

Axel looked at me.

"It's fine. I trust you" he said.

I smiled a little.

"Thank you" I said.

Axel slightly smiled at me.

"So I can come?" Bryan asked.

Both Axel and I nodded.

"Yey! I'm coming with Ali!" Bryan jumped up and down in excitement.

After that, Axel told Bryan to be in his best behavior while he was away and Bryan promised he will be.

Then, we left to go back to the cabin to prepare Bryan's things and Axel returned to work.

We reached the cabin and Bryan rushed to tell mom that Axel said yes.

"Mom, dad said yes. I can come with Ali now" Bryan said.

Mom smiled.

"Okay then. Let's pack your bags" mom said.

Bryan nodded and we akk went upstairs to pack Bryan's things.

I wss only supposed to tell them I was going but now, I'll have Bryan with me.

I think it will be really fun though.

Bryan was overjoyed that he was coming with me.

"But Bryan, I don't want you to get your sister in trouble while you're there okay? You need to be a good boy and follow everything your sister tells you" mom said.

Bryan nodded enthusiastically.

"I will" Bryan said.

"Do you promise?" mom said.

Bryan nodded again.

"I promise" he said.

Mom smiled and she glanced at me with a smile.

I smiled back at her.

This will be really fun.
