Alissa's

POV

It's been 2 weeks since I came back from my visit in Sol.

2 weeks since I've been marked.

2 weeks since I've started my training.

2 weeks since Luke and I started getting along.

And more than 3 weeks since Luke and I got married.

A week from now is the date of the coronation.

Yes, a week from now.

I let aunt Livi pick the date for me because I don't really think I'm capable of determining whether I'm ready or not ready to be crowned.

In fact, I don't think I'll ever be ready to have such a big responsibility as Queen.

But then, I remembered what Liana omce told me about how they learned to become royalty.

I'll eventually learn as I stumble upon different challenges as Queen.

I'm just thankful that I'll have aunt Livi, Liana, Lucas and now, Luke with me when I go through those things.

I don't know what kind of Queen I'll become but I'm sure I'll give everything that I give and do everything that I can to keep everyone safe and satisfied.

I won't be perfect but I'll keep trying and that's what matters.

I just have to keep my head high and have trust in myself.

There was a knock on the door and it opened revealing Liana.

"Hey" I greeted her and she turned to look my way since I was by the balcony.

"Oh goodie, you're here. I still keep forgetting you're staying in Luke's room now and I went to your room before I went here" Lia said chuckling.

I chuckled as well.

"Yeah. Anyway, what is it?" I asked.

"Dinner is ready. I came to get you myself" she said and clung onto my arm.

I nodded I as we walked outside the room.

"I'm guessing Luke isn't joining us?" I said.

"I asked a guard before I came to get you. He's still in a meeting and it will not be ending soon" she said.

I nodded.

I don't usually contact Luke myself since I didn't want to distract him whatsoever.

I only link with him when he reaches out first so I know he's available at the time.

Lia and I made our way downstairs and into the dining room.

Lucas was already there.

Aunt Livi and uncle Luan left earlier to go to aunt Livi's old pack, the Crescent Moon pack.

They will be back in 3 days, I think.

Lucas stood up when he saw us and he pulled 2 chairs before going back to his seat.

"Hey, Ali" he greeted me.

"Hi, Lucas" I greeted back with a smile.

Then, Lucas turned to Lia.

"Dad contacted me. He said him and mom will call after dinner to talk to us" Lucas said.

"Us? As in the both of us?" Lia asked as we sat down.

"No. Us as in the 3 of us" he said and glanced at me.

"Me?" I asked.

Lucas nodded.

"Really? Why? Is everything okay?" Lia asked a bit confused. Lucas shrugged.

"I don't know but it didn't seem urgent" Lucas said.

Lia and I nodded and we started putting food in our plate.

"Isn't Luke included?" I asked.

Lucas shook his head.

"Dad said that they'll be telling Luke before us" he explained.

I nodded in understanding.

"I'm so curious. What do they need to tell us?" Lia said.

I'm pretty curious too.

It must be something sudden since aunt Livi and uncle Luan didn't exactly mention anything before they left.

I hope it's nothing too serious.

I'm a bit worried as well and I don't even know why.

"Anyway, your coronation is a week from now, right, Ali?" Lucas changed the topic.

I nodded.

"It is. Aunt Livi picked the date out for me" I said.

"You still call mom 'aunt'? Shouldn't you br calling her mom as well since she's your mother in law now?" Lucas teased.

I blushed.

"I keep telling her that too" Lia giggled.

The twins laughed.

"It hasn't even been a month. Give me some slack" I said.

"Okay, sis" Lucas teased even more.

I chuckled.

"Sometimes it's hard to believe that you're married, marked and mated by my brother" Lucas commented.

"Right? It only seemed like yesterday that they were getting into each other's throat and all" Lia agreed.

I agreed as well.

"Still, I'm so glad that Ali is staying with us" Lia said with a smile.

"Definitely" Lucas agreed.

I smiled feeling flattered.

Everything still feel surreal to me as well.

We continued to chat over dinner about random things.

It wad only the 3 of us but it wasn't dull at all.

Lia and Lucad argued and teased each other here and there like they always do.

It was one of the most entertaining and funniest thing about them.

Not everyone sees this side of them but I get to see it often and I'm actually thankful about it.

Our dinner finished and we all decided to call aunt Livi and uncle Luan in my office so it would be private.

We walked to my office together and got inside.

Luke provided an office space for me when I moved to his room.

He said it was my own personal space in the palace.

"I'm still a bit surprised that my brother gave you your own space. I thought he'd just give you a table in his office" Lia commented and Lucas and I both chuckled in agreement. We sat down together with Lucas in the middle and called aunt Livi and uncle Luan in a tablet.

They answered after a few rings.

"Hey, kids" uncle Luan greeted.

"Hi, dad. What's up?" Lia said.

Aunt Livi also popped in the screen and she waved at us.

"Luke isn't there yet, is he?" aunt Livi asked.

"Not yet, auntie" I said.

Aunt Livi nodded.

"What is it that you need to tell us, mom?" Lucas asked.

Aunt Livi glanced at uncle Luan then back at the screen again.

"Pack your bags. You guys are coming to Crescent Moon" she said.

I was a bit taken aback but then...

"Everyone in the pack wants to meet Alissa" she added.

The twins looked at my stunned reaction.

Me? In Crescent Moon?
