The Woman From Hell -
Chapter 2659
I reached the villa and entered the living room only to see Theo sitting on the sofa, magazine in hand. Recalling what Neil said, I could only hide it away even though I had a thousand other things in mind. "I'm back."
Theo put down the magazine when he heard me and looked at me. "Why so late?"
"That's because we rarely ever go out together." I looked at Theo, my gaze somewhat unnatural.
He instantly caught onto it and asked, "Did something happen? Your expression is a little off."
His words instantly struck me, and I stuttered. Looking at Theo nervously, I replied, "Nothing happened."
Theo approached me and reached out his hand to brush away my hair from my temples. There was a look of concern in his eyes. "Obviously, something happened. Tell me what happened. Don't forget what you said yourself. There shouldn't be secrets between us." I pursed my lips. I knew I could not tell Theo what happened with Neil or else things would get out of hand.
Inhaling, I raised my gaze to look at him. "Shannon and I arranged a blind date for Marius today. He got mad." I lowered my head, disappointment written all over my face.
Theo kissed my forehead before pulling me into his arms. Rubbing my head, his gentle voice made me feel cared for. "You should've talked to me about it first."
"I'm sorry. I didn't know he'd get mad." Recalling Marius' disappointed visage just now, my eyes subconsciously got wet again. I sniffled, but the tears still fell, dripping onto Theo's shoulder.
Feeling my tears, Theo hugged me even tighter. "It's alright. Marius will be fine once he cools down."
I hoped that would be the case too, but my intuition told me that Marius would not forgive me this time.
I left Theo's embrace and wiped my tears. "I regret it so much. I should have stopped it before they met. Then this wouldn't have happened."
"But it has already happened. There's no use beating yourself up about it. Rather than sulk, why not think of a solution?" Theo lowered his head to look at me as he wiped the tears from the corners of my eyes. Adoration filled his eyes.
I nodded. Theo was right. I should think of a way to fix this situation.
"I'll wait two days. Then I'll apologize to him once he's no longer mad."

Facing his solid back, I was glad that I had Theo by my side at this moment. Smiling, I followed Theo upstairs.

Reaching out of the room, I took a hot bath and felt my entire being relaxed. Just then, Shannon sent me a message: [Forget about Marius, that unreasonable b*stard. I looked for him just now but he blocked me. He's pissing me off. I'm telling you this, Wanda. We should just ignore him.]
He actually blocked Shannon. It seemed that Marius was seriously pissed about this.
Could he have also blocked me as well...
I tapped into Marius's portrait. I wanted to send him a text, but my hand stilled. I did not dare face him.
"Wait two more days. We'll contact him again then."
Theo's voice sounded beside me. I turned to him. "Do you think he'll cut me off?"
"I don't think so. Let's see how it goes in two days."
"Alright."
I put down my phone and got into bed, leaning into Theo's embrace. "Theo, I want to discuss something with you. Now that the Golden-Q project is on the right track, I want to go back to Green Orange. Is that okay?"
"Yes. I'll get someone else to continue this project."
"Thank you."
"Silly."
