Draco had informed Casey that Evan’s son had spent the previous night there, so the blood must

belong to Axel.

Casey walked toward the bathroom, and Axel panicked when he heard his footsteps. He didn’t want

anyone to discover his nosebleed especially his busy father. He didn’t want Evan to worry

about him.

Casey arrived at the bathroom entrance, where he noticed the bloody water in the basin and the

blood on Axel’s pale face.

Axel was startled and stepped back, covering his nose when he saw Casey. He tried to stay calm.

and asked, “Who are you?”

Casey blinked, and the coldness in his eyes disappeared. He now looked concerned and asked, ”

You’re Evan’s son, right? What happened to you?”

Axel stared at Casey, unable to comprehend how his earlier intense gaze had faded so rapidly.

Axel fibbed, “I tripped and hit my nose.”

“Should we get a doctor to check it?‘ Casey asked.

“No,” Axel declined, pretending as if nothing was amiss. He proceeded to rinse his nose again.

Casey briefly examined the bloody water. ‘T’ll leave since you’re okay.”

Axel watched him cautiously, relaxing only when Casey’s footsteps grew distant

Fortunately, Casey’s suspicions weren’t aroused

After stopping the nosebleed, Axel sat by the bed and wondered why Draco had told Casey to avoid

Evan. ‘Does my father hate him? Or did something happen between them?’

Draco shared the DNA test results with Evan downstairs, who listened indifferently. He then went

upstairs to fetch Axel without saying a word. The results were as he had expected, confirming his

suspicions that Tyler and Liora were Caroline and Neil’s children.

This left him wondering about his own two children. Where were they? Were they alive?

As Evan ascended the stairs, Draco called out, “Stay away from that promiscuous woman from

now on!”

Evan’s expression turned serious “Fulfill your promise before attempting to control me. If you can’t,

don’t even think about managing my life!”

With those words, Evan continued upstairs.

Draco sat on the sofa, squinting intensely as he watched Evan vanish up the stairwell.

“Does he suspect something?” he questioned.

Beside him, Bernard replied, “He probably doesn’t know you arranged for Casey to stay at Aura Villa.”

“What was his intent then?”

“He might be reminding you not to forget your promise to him.”

Draco grew furious, “Casey is his brother! Does he harbor such a strong dislike for him? He should

prioritize his status!”

Bernard sighed. ‘Please calm down, sir. Who will look out for Casey if you fall ill? Evan’s role is to

take charge of the company and secure a foundation for Casey. You need to endure this for Casey’s

sake!”

Draco conceded. “Fine! Starting tomorrow, have Adam spend more time at Aura Villa. They should

watch out for each other.”

“Yes, sir!”

In the afternoon, Caroline visited the injured workers at the hospital.

The workers and their families treated her respectfully due to her generous compensation.
