Chapter 363 It’s All Her Fault

Evan heard a loud commotion from the amusement park as he stepped out of the car at the

entrance

Suddenly, a sharp pain gripped his heart, causing him to clutch his chest and crouch down.

Reuben and the bodyguards rushed forward to assist Evan when they saw this.

“Mr. Jordan, are you okay?” Reuben and Julian asked simultaneously.

Evan felt an inexplicable panic, causing him to push them away. He struggled to control the suffocation

and dizziness before rising and heading into the amusement park.

Inside, chaos reigned as everyone hurried toward the Ferris wheel

Julian grabbed an employee and inquired about the incident.

The panicked employee replied, “A pod from the Ferris wheel fell off!”

Upon hearing that, Reuben looked up at the vacant space in the air where the Ferris wheel stood,

towering 200 meters high.

There was little hope for the person inside…

Panic flickered in Evan’s eyes as he recalled the inexplicable pain he had experienced earlier.

His eyes narrowed, and he paled at the thought

“Caroline…” he murmured and rushed toward the Ferris wheel.

His sudden action alarmed Reuben and the bodyguards, who wondered if he was risking his life.

As Evan reached the Ferris wheel, he heard familiar cries and screams.

His bodyguards cleared a path for him through the dense crowd, allowing Evan to approach.

When he arrived at the shattered pod, he found Caroline and the children sitting before it, looking

dazed and heartbroken

He couldn’t identify who was in the pod, but a pool of blood stained the ground nearby.

His heart skipped a beat, and he urgently pulled Caroline up.

“Caroline, are you okay? Are you hurt?” he asked anxiously.

Caroline’s eyes were vacant, and she remained unresponsive to Evan’s forceful grip on her

shoulders

Evan frowned in worry and raised his voice “Caroline, answer me!”

His stern tone gradually brought Caroline back to her senses, her eyes welling up with tears as she

cried silently.

“Evan…” She spoke softly, gazing at his worried face. “I’m sorry

“Sorry?” Evan’s heart sank

Terror soon filled his eyes as he turned to look at the bloodstained pod.

“Mom?” He quivered and withdrew his hands hesitantly.

Swallowing hard, he walked shakily toward the pod

Reuben’s eyes were red with tears as he approached, attempting to stop Evan. Struggling to speak

through his sobs, he managed, “Mr. Jordan, it’s… It’s Madam Weiss.”

He couldn’t bring himself to say more, as Jamie’s body was beyond recognition after the fall.

“Move aside!” Evan’s voice was cold, and his eyes burned with intensity.

Reuben reluctantly stepped aside, avoiding eye contact

Evan circled to the other side of the pod. When he saw Jamie’s tragic state, he closed his eyes, his

fists clenched tightly, veins bulging on the back of his hands.

His anguish was evident, making it unbearable for Caroline to witness

She blamed herself. If she had prevented Jamie, this tragedy might have been avoided

Before long, medical personnel arrived and carried away Jamie’s lifeless body.

Meanwhile, police officers spread around to gather statements. The crowd dispersed, sighing in

helplessness once the police had Evan and Caroline’s testimonies.

The police officers summoned the park’s manager for questioning.

Although the park’s staff wanted Caroline and the others to leave, Julian and his companions

prevented them from doing so.

Now, the vacant spot was filled only with the soft sound of the evening breeze and distant,

mournful cries.
