True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1035
"My God, you scared me to death." Heinz was also excited. When he knew that she was pregnant with twins again, he was happy. He put his arms around Grace and sighed softly. "I was really scared to death I thought something bad had happened, but it turned out to be twins."
"Well, are you happy?"
"Of course. I'm so happy." He laughed, and his lips went up, revealing his row of white teeth. He was bursting with excitement and pride.
The biggest surprise of his life was probably the fact that not only had Grace become pregnant with one set of twins before, but it was now two sets of twins.
This was the best surprise of his life.
Looking at her belly, his eyes were filled with pride, excitement and love.
"Let's go. Let's go replace the doctor and see the results," she held his arm and said.
"Okay!" Heinz held her hand and had one of his hands behind her back.
After a short trip to the doctor and making sure everything was fine, they headed back home.
From the moment he learned of the news until they arrived home, Heinz kept smiling.
Lester and Alex heard about the great news, too. They both had smiles on their faces. They were genuinely happy for the president and his wife.
When they entered the room, the butler asked with concern, "How did Madam Grace's check-up go? Is it twins?"
Now, these twins were something that the Jones family, and even the whole company were looking forward to.
Some of them even placed bets on whether Grace was pregnant with just a baby or twins.
It was said that the stakes were quite high.
They were all looking forward to it.
Everyone was waiting for Mr. and Mrs. Jones' news.
"Take a guess!" Heinz replied flippantly. At this moment, he was as happy as a lark, and there was an irrepressible smile on his face.
The butler was surprised to replace him looking like that as it was the first time he had seen Heinz having a huge smile.
The butler thought for a moment and said, "I guess it must be twins. You're grinning from ear to
ear."
Heinz snorted lightly but his tone was full of joy.
The butler looked at him, who was happy, and teased him excitedly, "Is it true, Mr. Jones? Are they twins?"
"Of course," Heinz answered proudly. "Grace is just special. It's amazing how she can be pregnant with twins two times in a row."
"That's great," the butler said. "I made a bet with the chef picking twins. I'm going to get my bet now. I won, I won!"
The butler was so excited that he went to collect his bet.
"Why did you all bet again? My good mood has been ruined by you." Heinz laughed. He was not angry at all. "Lester, give everyone a big fat cheque."
"Yes!" Lester smiled and nodded. Looking at Heinz, he couldn't help but ask, "President Jones, how big should the cheque be?"
"A month's salary," Heinz said in a low voice. "Everyone will receive a month's salary as a bonus."
"That's great. President Jones, you're really a good man. The butler must have earned a lot today."
Heinz smiled gently and said, "Well, I can't say that
I'm good. If you all want to thank someone, thank Grace and both the babies in her belly. All I hope is that the babies will come into this world safely and healthily. When that happens, I'll give you all a 3-month's salary worth of pay."
"I'm sure it'll all be well," said the butler. "I'll bet again with the chef whether it would be a boy or a girl, hahaha."
"D*mn, whoever makes a bet, I won't give them the bonus," Heinz spat.
"Okay, I won't place any more bets," the butler said with a laugh.
Then, he turned around and mumbled, "I can just secretly place a bet. It doesn't have to be known. I won't make a big bet anyway."
Heinz was so happy that he wanted to tell the world the news.
Grace, however, was a little tired. She sat down on the sofa and looked at him, saying, "Come on, don't be so childish. I agree with you sending out bonuses but can you behave a little more normally? Don't keep laughing, okay? Your laughter made me a little dizzy."
Heinz was tall and big. He was always wearing a big smile on his handsome face which was really eye-catching.
Heinz still couldn't help but laugh. "I'm happy, which is why I laugh, okay?" "Okay," she was speechless. "Of course you can laugh, but please don't do it so exaggeratedly, okay?"
"How am I exaggerating?" He said, "I'm happy. I'm happy that's why I am laughing."
"Help me up." She rolled her eyes. "I'm going to rest."
"Yes, it's time to rest." Heinz quickly helped her up. "Go take a bath and change your clothes first. The hospital is filled with patients so it's better to go clean yourself. Take a break and I'll call Grandpa." Grace helplessly looked at him. He looked like a man who was a little silly at the moment.
They both went into the bedroom. He helped her take a bath and changed her clothes. Then, he went to make a phone call.
She laid down and heard Heinz's excited voice that was mixed with unconcealable pride. "Grandpa, I have good news for you, a piece of good news that will let you live ten years more." William could guess what it was as soon as he heard Heinz's voice.
"Hmph! Only for more than ten years? You're really stingy. If you care about the child in your belly, how is ten years enough?"
"Uh, Grandpa, twenty years then," Heinz added jokingly. "It's news that will have you live for twenty more years."
William already guessed what it was.
"Then tell me, is there one or two little creatures in Grace's belly?"
"It's twins." Heinz said, "Grandpa, can you not say it in such an unpleasant way? They would be your great-grandchildren, not creatures."
"Well, being a little crude is better sometimes." William was surprised to replace that Grace was pregnant with twins again and said, "Twins again. Grace is just amazing. Maybe after this, if she is pregnant with twins again I can confirm that you both favor things that come in pairs."
The old man's tone was full of joy, and his voice was full of laughter.
"Though I think what you said won't be wrong, I don't plan for Grace to go through another pregnancy again after this." Heinz continued, "Four children is enough for us. Going through too much pregnancy may not be good. We both agree that having four children is enough. Please don't ask for more."
He thought that it was rather boring and sad for him to keep his desires on hold. If Grace was to be pregnant again and they would need to bring up another child, she would not have any energy to cater to his wants and needs.
He wanted to be a lovey-dovey couple together with her, but not one that was crazy at making babies.
He wanted them both to lead a good life.
