Grace? His wife?

Yvonne was stunned. She smiled and said to Heinz, "Mr. Jones and Miss Smith sure have a good relationship."

"We're not bad, I guess." Heinz smiled and said, "One day no see feels as long as three years."

Zachary walked ahead and urged, "Hurry up, we'll talk in my office."

"Are you afraid of being overheard?" Heinz smiled and said, "If you're afraid of being heard by others, why did you still bring that person here?"

They happened to be walking past the president's office as he spoke, and several people in the room looked in their direction.

Heinz remained calm and collected, whereas Yvonne was on guard.

As for Zachary, his expression grew colder.

Soon, they entered Zachary's office.

Yvonne served Heinz a cup of coffee and left.

She knew it was inappropriate for her to stay and listen to the conversation between two presidents, so she left knowingly.

As soon as the door closed, she turned around and saw that everyone was looking at her. Xandra directly asked her, "Miss Attwood, that man is President Jones, right?"

"Yes!" Yvonne nodded.

"You guys sound like you know each other. Do you?" Xandra asked again.

Yvonne nodded, "Yes, we do know each other."

"Oh?" Xandra replied. Her remark had a deeper meaning and could make one feel awkward.

Yvonne remained unbothered. She sat down and continued to look through her materials. Those were all Zachary's habits and regulations.

She had a lot to catch up with.

In the President's office.

Zachary and Heinz sat on the sofa. Heinz took a sip of coffee and commented, "This coffee is well brewed, very authentic."

"It's alright." Zachary did not praise Yvonne's skills.

"This is not just alright. Her skill is exceptional. Zachary, you'll scare her away if you keep acting so coldly. I'm much more used to your previous gentleness, at least it looks pleasing." Heinz said jokingly, "You look like the whole world owes you. What are you doing with such a bitter face? Even the devil is scared of you."

Zachary knew that his face was full of sorrow.

After hearing what Heinz said, he smiled slightly and retorted, "You don't seem to be acting as cold as you used to be. Look at you, don't you think you're loquacious?"

"I'm reflecting on my usual behavior. When you talk too little, your relationship will fade away. When you speak up, you can educate your child and maintain a good relationship with your wife. So why not?" "Educate your child? Does Little Gary call you 'Dad' now?" Zachary purposely poked at Heinz's wound. This would probably always be a sore subject for Heinz.

Sure enough, Heinz's face fell, "Zachary, can we not talk about this matter?"

That little brat had never once called him 'Dad'.

Heinz had consulted a psychiatrist before. The psychiatrist said that although the child might seem strong on the outside, his heart was fragile, so Heinz needed to replace the right opportunity for the child to call him 'Dad'.

In other words, there was something wrong with the child's mental health.

This was what Heinz dreaded to hear.

He became depressed in an instant.

Zachary noticed that something was wrong. Frowning, he asked, "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing." Heinz shook his head. It was better not to mention the child's situation.

"You don't look like your child is fine," Zachary said.

Heinz hesitated and asked, "I remember that you took Maria to a psychiatrist before, didn't you?"

Zachary was stunned. He had brought his child to a psychiatrist half a year after Yvonne had left.

Although he didn't want to admit that there was something wrong with his child, he didn't hide anything from the doctors.

He brought his child there.

The doctor gave him three words, "Lack of love."

He was struck by those three words.

How could a child, who had grown up with a single parent, not lack love?

"Little Gary is the same." Heinz said, "You see, he's much smarter and sharper than ordinary children. He looks strong on the outside, but he actually has a fragile heart. That's why he expresses it the tough way.

Maria occasionally uses some strange methods to pull a prank on her friends, whereas Little Gary has something against me as I'm the biggest reason he has a bad life."

Zachary kept silent, and the expression on his face was very dark.

Heinz said, "It's a good thing we know where the problem lies. We only need to deal with it slowly. Their lack of love is what we need to make up for. After all, it's our responsibility." Thinking of Maria, Zachary's hands clenched into fists as he suppressed himself.

Heinz looked in the direction of the door and asked, "How's it going? Have you made up with Yvonne?"

Zachary shook his head.

Heinz was very surprised, "You've brought her here, and you've mixed up your public and private affairs. Yet you guys haven't gotten back together? Who's gonna believe you?" "It's just a matter of time." Zachary said in a deep voice, "I don't know what the result will be."

"Forget it." Heinz chuckled, "Nobody will believe you if you say that. You'll definitely not let this woman go again. Don't think that I don't know what you're thinking. Don't hide it in front of me. I know what you're planning in your mind."

Zachary gave a wry smile and said, "Have you ever thought that Little Gary's straightforwardness has something to do with you? Can't you save a bit of my pride?"

"If pride is useful, why would you still want a wife? You've been single for so long, and you're trying to suppress your desire, right? Is your brain damaged from all the suppressing? If not, why would you still want pride in such a situation? The thing about relationships is that both parties have to be clear that they're willing to be with each other. Even if you're hurting each other, it has to mean that you're doing it out of love. Stop being melodramatic. Quickly solve the problem so that you can get married and have children soon." Heinz advised him patiently, "I have four kids now and I'm leading an amazing life." "Not everything can be changed just because I want to." Zachary felt helpless as well.

"Forget it. I'm sure that if you tell Yvonne about Maria's mental problems, she will confess everything to you. If you don't believe me, you can try."

Zachary was stunned, "Perhaps Yvonne isn't an ordinary woman. An ordinary woman wouldn't abandon such a young child for more than a year. This isn't something anyone can bear to do." "That's true." Heinz nodded, "But how do you know what will happen if you don't try at all?"

Zachary was deep in thought.

"The reason I came was to cheer you up. You need someone to give you a push. If you continue to dawdle, you'll really delay having more children, do you understand?"

"I don't plan on having another one that early," said Zachary with a smile.

"Oh!" Heinz blinked, and his eyes were full of amusement, "You're afraid that the child will come and interrupt your quality time, aren't you? I'm well aware, I'm telling you. It really is intolerable. Look at me, I look haggard, don't I?"

Zachary was speechless. He glanced at him and said, "I'm not as childish as you."
