True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1184
Yvonne's heart tightened as she looked at Renee in astonishment. She felt that Renee was different from before. She had become more sentimental. Yvonne didn't know what had happened to her.
Yvonne couldn't help but ask, "Renee, what's going on with you? Why did you suddenly become so sentimental?"
"I just want to tell you men are actually very touchy. They might look very generous on the surface, but in fact, they are touchy in their bones."
Renee suddenly looked very tired, as if something bad had happened to her.
Yvonne became extremely worried, but at the same time, she felt that life really was helpless and unpredictable.
She nodded, "I know I shouldn't hide it. I will replace time to talk to him properly, but right now I really don't know how to put it into words."
"Be honest with him earlier and try to get him to understand," Renee said, "I still think it's strange that Zachary has suddenly forgiven you without any reason."
"It baffles me too." Yvonne spread her palms, "I couldn't make head or tail of it."
"Then it's true love," Renee sighed again, " Cherish this love, Mrs. Lowe."
"Sigh, you've called me Mrs. Lowe twice," Yvonne said, "This is the third time, why do you call me that?"
"You already have a child and you both had done the deed. You even have traces of the man who turned you into a woman on you. Do you dare say that you are not a young married woman? I guess the two of you had just done it today."
Yvonne's face flushed red in an instant.
She felt shameful listening to Renee say it out loud.
Although it was possible to share a lot of things between best friends, it was still rather embarrassing to discuss this kind of topic.
"Seeing that your face is as red as a tomato, I guess I'm right," Renee laughed teasingly, "Looks like Zachary is unable to resist your charm. That was the case back then, and it's even more so now. I am relieved."
Yvonne blushed as she said, "Enough about me, what about you?"
As soon as Yvonne directed the topic at her, Renee's expression changed, and imperceptible loneliness flashed across her eyes. "Me? I'm okay."
"Are you in a relationship?"
"We broke up," Renee smiled, her face a little pale, "Don't look at me like that. I'm really fine now. I've passed my period of pain."
Yvonne took a deep breath, her eyes revealing deep understanding.
She completely understood her feelings.
No wonder she felt that Renee was so sentimental. It turned out that she was going through a break-up
Yvonne picked up the cup and said, "Let's cheers with our coffee."
Renee burst into laughter, "Are you trying to comfort me?"
"There's no use in comforting you," Yvonne said, "You'll have to overcome it on your own. There's nothing much others could do for you."
"How did you live through all those years?" Renee looked at her, her eyes unblinking, "If I hadn't experienced it, I really wouldn't have been able to understand. Yvonne, I feel like I'm going to die of sadness right now."
"Don't say that," Yvonne said, "Every person's life is filled with wonders. Cherish yourself, cherish your life, and only then will life cherish you."
Renee caressed her face and laughed self-deprecatingly, "You're right. I can't be depressed for a man. I shouldn't be."
In the end, Yvonne didn't know who Renee's boyfriend was either. She only felt that Renee was really heartbroken. It seemed like this relationship had hurt her deeply. "Renee, is there anything I can do for you?" Yvonne asked.
"There's no need, Yvonne, as long as you and Zachary are fine, I will also be very happy," Renee wiped the tears in her eyes. She suddenly smiled and stroked her hair, "Only when you are happy, that I can believe in love. You've shown me that broken love really can be amended as long as we put the effort in."
"You still want to reunite with your ex-boyfriend?" Yvonne asked in surprise.
"He is the only person I have eyes for," Renee's eyes flashed as she spoke. There was a sparkling light in her eyes; they were dazzling.
"Then why did you break up with each other?" Yvonne asked, "Can you tell me?" "He didn't care about me," Renee said, "I've always felt that he never really cared about me, or even took our relationship seriously. I've always been the one to put the most effort into this relationship."
So that was how it was.
Only now did Yvonne understand, "So you broke up with him?"
Unsurprisingly, Renee nodded.
At this point, Yvonne roughly understood.
But just then, Yvonne's phone rang.
She took a look and immediately said, "It's Zachary."
Renee was surprised; she immediately came alive, "Answer it."
Yvonne felt a bit embarrassed. She put on an innocent face, and answered the phone, "Hello, Zachary?"
"I've arrived," she could hear Zachary's voice mixed with the voice of the airport broadcast, "I see you."
Yvonne was stunned. She immediately looked outside the window.
Sure enough, she saw a tall figure outside the glass window. It was Zachary. He was looking at her with his phone in his hand. They looked at each other through the window, and their eyes met.
Yvonne held her phone, forgetting to answer.
Renee, who was across from her, saw that she was looking out of the window in a daze. She also followed her gaze and saw Zachary. Renee was stunned for a moment and then laughed, "Oh my, Zachary is here."
Yvonne hurriedly hung up the phone. Sitting in her seat, she instantly became uneasy. Her shyness instantly showed.
Zachary strode in and came to the table in front of them.
Renee immediately stood up and asked, "Zachary, I haven't seen you for a long time. Do I still have the honor to be remembered by you?"
"I don't really remember you." Zachary said bluntly, "But Yvonne reminded me. So, I have a slight impression."
He was harsh.
Renee laughed, "It doesn't matter. It's fine as long as you remember Yvonne, haha!"
Zachary sat down by Yvonne's side and looked at Yvonne. He only had eyes for her.
He stared at Yvonne with a doting and deep gaze, as if he and Yvonne were the only ones left in the world.
Renee looked at them and sat down as well.
However, she suddenly felt as if she had become the third wheel.
She couldn't be the third wheel for long; she really had to run soon.
Yvonne didn't say anything being stared at by Zachary. What's more, she was even more embarrassed.
Zachary whispered in her ear, "You left all of a sudden without saying anything. I thought you ran away again."
"No," Yvonne hurriedly replied, "Renee called. She was in a hurry so I came out to see her."
Yvonne pointed at Renee, acting as if she was a good girl, very obedient and docile.
Zachary nodded, but he did not look at Renee. He just said gently, "That's good."
All Yvonne felt was embarrassment when she saw that he was still staring at her. She hurriedly said, "Do you want some coffee? Let me order a cup for you." "No," Zachary said in a deep voice, "I'll go back and drink the coffee you brew."
