"Huh! Zachary, Yvonne, how could you guys be so affectionate in front of a single person like me? You guys have gone too far." Renee said with a smile. "Please take care of the third wheel's feelings." Zachary looked over to Renee and replied blandly, "Since you're Yvonne's best friend, you should understand that her happiness had not come easily. Shouldn't you bear with it, and congratulate your best friend?"

"Cough, cough, cough!" Renee almost choked on her coffee.

She looked at Zachary in bewilderment.

When did Zachary, a handsome and bright young man, become such a person? He was so straightforward.

Yvonne was also stunned.

Renee, however, started to laugh. "You're right, Zachary. I should be giving you my blessings. I'm really happy for the both of you."

Zachary glanced at her calmly. If he had known that Renee and Yvonne were such good friends, he would have sent someone to investigate her.

Unfortunately, he was distraught back then, and his heart grew cold. He went abroad and returned as a changed man.

However, fortunately, he found Yvonne again.

"Zachary, Yvonne." Renee looked at them seriously and said, "You guys have to be happy. You have to stay very, very happy."

"We will," Zachary replied firmly.

Yvonne looked at Zachary's profile in a daze. She felt that he looked even more earnest and determined when he said his promise.

She felt slightly panicked. She didn't know why, but her heart started beating like crazy.

It was not a joke.

Renee nodded, stood up, and said to them, "I'm relieved to hear your promise with my own ears. I'm leaving now. I don't want to be the third wheel anymore. Remember to send me an invitation to the wedding I will attend no matter what."

"No problem," Zachary responded in a deep voice.

Renee left just like that; she headed to the departure hall to wait for her flight.

Yvonne and Zachary sat in the coffee shop together.

Yvonne remained silent before she said softly, "I didn't leave, I really didn't leave. I just came out to meet Renee."

"You already told me," Zachary replied. "I also already know."

Yvonne nodded, placing her hands on her knees.

She looked at her hands and didn't move for a long time.

Zachary stretched out his hands and gently covered Yvonne's. His palms were warm, and there was a little bit of sweat on them.

Yvonne was taken aback. She raised her head and looked at the man next to her.

"You need to inform me no matter where you go in the future. Give me a call." Zachary looked at her.

"Okay, I thought you were meeting an important client, so I didn't dare to disturb you," Yvonne explained softly. "But I told Aidan about it."

"No matter how busy I am, call me," Zachary repeated. "Fortunately, you told Aidan. Otherwise, I would have been angry."

In fact, he was not only angry but also scared.

A lot of emotions surged in his heart the moment she was gone. His mind was in a state of chaos.

He was afraid that she would leave for a long time again.

"Okay." Yvonne looked at him in a daze, and after a few seconds, she nodded her head seriously.

"It'll be good if you're always this obedient." Zachary reached out his hand and wrapped her in his arms; a faint smile was evident in his eyes.

Yvonne felt that it was not appropriate to act so intimately in public.

"Zachary, don't be like this." She quickly blocked his arms, afraid that others would see them.

"Be like what?" He asked in amusement.

"You know what I'm talking about." She did not believe that he was oblivious.

Zachary inched closer to her as he chuckled. They were so close that the tip of his nose could almost touch hers.

The deep, pleasant laughter came from his chest. His adam's apple bopped along with it, and his warm breath fell on Yvonne's lips. Each breath was like a feather teasing her lips repeatedly.

"I don't know anything. I only know that you've made me worried. Shouldn't you compensate me?" Zachary's voice was very low and hoarse. The more he was like this, the more seductive he sounded. Yvonne took a deep breath and asked in a trembling voice, "How should I compensate?" "What do you think?" He asked, raising his tone slightly.

Yvonne immediately understood what he meant and answered, "Well, let's go to the car."

She said boldly.

However, the next second, Zachary's lips were already on hers.

All the words were drowned in the corner of his mouth. He tasted the coffee she had.

He didn't like this kind of coffee. But when he tasted it on her lips, it was delicious.

Yvonne wanted to push him away, but her hands were restrained by his. She was unable to break free.

Yvonne hadn't forgotten that they were in a coffee shop.

She was still rather reserved in a place like this. So, she kept observing her surroundings at all times.

Seeing the waiters and even people outside the glass window looking in their direction, she felt so scared and embarrassed that she pushed Zachary away. "No, Zachary!" Yvonne cried out in a low voice, gasping for breath.

"No Zachary?" Zachary's tone was slightly unstable. He deliberately lowered and asked, "You don't want me?"

"It's not that." Yvonne shook her head and explained in a panic, "People are looking at us."

Sure enough, people were looking at them. She blushed and impulsively plunged her face into Zachary's arms. She dared not look up again.

She threw herself at him in such a way it pleased Zachary in an instant.

Deep laughter burst out from his chest; he sounded seductive.

"Yvonne." Zachary whispered in her ear, "Do you know?"

"Huh?"

"The way you look now is like how you were many years ago." He closed his eyes slightly and recalled how she looked during those years. The beautiful young girl was just as easily shy.

He didn't expect that many years later, she would still be like this.

Yvonne didn't say anything. She froze for a moment and summoned up her courage, saying, "Zachary, there is something I want to tell you." "What?" Zachary looked down at her.

"Umm, in the past."

Before she could finish her words, a low male voice interrupted her. "Zachary, is that really you?"

Yvonne froze. She immediately got up from Zachary's embrace and lowered her head. Her face was burning hot.

Zachary raised his eyes and saw Tyler Henley.

He was also taken aback. "Tyler, it's you?"

Tyler nodded and looked at him with a faint smile. He did not avoid and said, "I thought I saw you just now. I should have left, but I felt that I should also greet you. So I came over presumptuously. It's really you, Zachary."

Knowing that Tyler was making fun of him, Zachary smiled. He stood up and said, "Let me introduce you to my wife. This is Yvonne."

Yvonne stared blankly for a moment, and then she quickly pulled herself together, her heart beating wildly.

He had actually introduced her to him as his wife. Yvonne felt shocked, and her mind was in a state of chaos again.

That was because she knew the difference between a wife and a partner.
