Although the titles "wife" and "partner" seemed the same, in truth, it was completely different.

A partner was someone one was romantically involved with.

Whereas a wife was someone one had a deep and intimate relationship with.

The way he addressed her deeply touched her heart.

She felt her heartbeat increasing rapidly, and she felt warm.

Tyler paused before he replied with a smile, "Mrs. Lowe, nice to meet you. Let me introduce myself. I'm Tyler Henley. Mr. Lowe and I knew each other when we were studying in the United States." "Hello, Mr. Henley." Yvonne hurriedly greeted him.

She was still deeply immersed in Zachary's touching words; it was difficult for her to snap out. However, she did not want to embarrass him. She could only try her best to make herself look proper. She didn't say much. After greeting him, she stood beside Zachary obediently.

Tyler had actually only come to say hi. "Mrs. Lowe, I shan't disturb any further. I'll treat you two to a meal some other time. I'll let you two go back to what you were doing now." He smiled as he said. He knew he shouldn't stay long.

Zachary paid for the coffee, took Yvonne's hand, and then said to Tyler, "We should go too. Tyler, what are you doing at the airport?"

"I have something to do here," Tyler replied.

Zachary did not ask any more questions.

"Actually, you two can continue." When Tyler saw that they were also leaving, he quickly added, "I feel bad that you two are leaving just like this. I suspect that I'm the one who disturbed you two and made you leave in a hurry."

"No!" Zachary shook his head and responded, "I should thank you for your reminder."

He did not continue to speak, but Tyler understood the implication of his words.

After all, it was not good to act so intimately in public. He did not want others to see Yvonne's frivolous side.

After walking out the door, Tyler nodded slightly to Zachary and Yvonne and left quickly.

Zachary held Yvonne's hand and glanced at her sideways, only to replace that Yvonne was quite

tense.

She was stiff all over, with her face looking down, and her thoughts were elsewhere.

"What are you thinking about?" Zachary asked with a hint of affection and displeasure in his tone.

He was not mad at her; it was more like an affectionate complaint.

Yvonne looked up in an instant and saw that he was looking at her. His eyes staring straight into hers.

Yvonne was a little flustered within. Her eyes subconsciously lowered as she stared at the large hand that was holding onto her.

Zachary followed her line of sight and understood instantly.

She didn't say anything, yet he understood.

It was because they were holding hands.

They hadn't held hands for a long time.

Yvonne felt extremely flustered because the events that had happened that day were beyond her expectations.

Because what Isabelle said to her had angered him, he fired Isabelle.

He came to the airport to fetch her and even introduced her to his friend. The feeling of respect and love arose from the bottom of Yvonne's heart. She could not believe everything she had experienced that day was real.

How was a person like him able to do all this?

And how was she deserving of all this?

"Zachary." Yvonne's voice was a bit hoarse; she was moved and choked with sobs. "I seem to be very useless."

Because when she said these words, she wanted to cry.

In the past, she didn't cry even when she was in a difficult situation. Now, she would often want to cry. She really was useless.

Zachary gazed at her without saying anything. He unconsciously tightened his grip on her hands.

Yvonne could feel his emotions.

In the next second, her body was pulled towards him, and she crashed into his arms.

Zachary pulled her to the car park.

Even when Yvonne got in the car and sat in the passenger seat, her mind was still blank.

Zachary fastened the seat belt for her. He leaned over and hovered above her body, looking at her without blinking.

Yvonne could feel the determination in his eyes, the tenderness and love in them. She couldn't help but want to drown in his deep eyes. Zachary stared at her; his gaze was deep.

They were in the car, in the car park. There were cars everywhere; no one was there.

Yvonne became bold. When she saw that Zachary was looking at her, she pursed her lips and said softly, "Thank you."

She was referring to the fact that Zachary had helped her fasten her seat belt.

"I can't feel your sincerity," whispered Zachary.

Yvonne paused, and her face became red.

"Show me your sincerity."

Yvonne's face reddened even further; even her ears were red.

Zachary whispered, "We're in the car; what are you afraid of?"

"I'm not afraid," Yvonne quickly explained, "I'm not afraid of others, but I'm afraid of you."

"What's there to be afraid of?" His voice grew even more hoarse.

"I'm afraid that you won't be able to control yourself." She was very worried about his ability to control himself.

Zachary's eyes darkened further as he stared at Yvonne. His eyes were filled with amusement.

The next second, when Zachary wanted to lower himself, Yvonne had already kissed him.

She came at him like lightning and thunder, stirring up a fire in him.

In an instant, the atmosphere grew heavy. Zachary did not hold back either; he took Yvonne's breath away.

It lasted a full three minutes.

Yes, it was only after a full three minutes that they reluctantly parted.

Zachary returned to his seat and did not dare to look at Yvonne. She was right. His self- control was getting worse and worse; even he was very doubtful of his ability to control himself. Yvonne lowered her head. Her face was pink as she adjusted her breathing.

After a long time, she asked, "A-are you all right?"

"No." She couldn't hear any emotions from Zachary's voice.

Yvonne looked at him and asked, "Then, shall we go?"

"Yvonne."

"Yeah?"

"Just now in the cafe, you wanted to tell me something." Zachary had been waiting for her to confess.

Yvonne paused before intertwining her fingers together.

She was very anxious and worried.

As soon as Zachary glanced at her calmly, he understood that Yvonne was still not ready to tell him.

He now knew what happened in the past. Even though he didn't know the full story, he had a rough idea.

Ever since Zachary knew that this matter had something to do with his father, he understood Yvonne's well-intentions.

She didn't want him to fall out with his father because of her.

This silly woman only knew to suffer alone.

Seeing that she was conflicted about being pressed on, his heart clenched painfully in an instant.

Reaching out to hold her hands, Zachary suggested, "Let's get something to eat. I'm a little hungry."

Yvonne looked at Zachary in surprise, her eyes filled with shock.

Had he decided not to press on?

Yvonne had originally wanted to tell him, but she hesitated every time. Renee had helped to muster up her courage, but at this very moment, she still hesitated.

She couldn't tell him.

It was a father's expectation for his child, hoping that Zachary would go abroad to study and shoulder the future of the Lowe family.

She had broken the promise of leaving Zachary and came back to replace him.

If she told Zachary about this now, she would feel even more guilty.

Yvonne took a deep breath and didn't speak.

Zachary did not press on either.
