True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1626
Liam took a deep breath. Words were really enough to kill a person.
He was really worried that Maria would be angry after hearing these words. He looked into Cindy's eyes and then at the door of his bedroom. She must have guessed that someone was hiding in his room. Teresa must have told Johnny about the news.
That must be why Cindy was here.
He thought for a while and looked at Cindy, who looked so proud. He just smiled faintly. "Miss White, I really did like Celeste very much, but it was only because I felt pity for her. Besides, it has been such a long time, Miss White. What makes you think that I don't like my current girlfriend?"
"You have already admitted that you like Celeste. I know what's on your mind," Cindy said in a contemptuous tone. "Is it because you are lonely? Is that why you are dating? I guess that if Celeste were to appear in front of you, your heart would definitely be moved."
"Miss White, you are too confident," Liam said faintly. "I don't need to report my personal affairs to you, and Celeste has nothing to do with you anymore. She is currently the adopted daughter of the Lowe family. You don't have to consider yourself as a guardian, and you don't have to consider yourself as my teacher. I have paid back all I should during these past years. Miss White, please go back."
Of course, Cindy would not leave. She looked at Liam and smiled gently. "Liam, are you driving me away?"
"Yes, Miss White. I don't think we have anything else to talk about." Liam's tone was very indifferent.
He was worried that Maria would misunderstand him. That was the last thing he wanted.
"You are afraid that the girl in your bedroom will misunderstand you, aren't you?" Cindy said.
Liam was taken aback for a moment. It seemed that Cindy knew about it.
He smiled and said, "My girlfriend and I have no misunderstandings between us. She understands me, and that's all there is. She knows our love well. Our relationship has nothing to do with anyone. We don't need to prove it."
Maria, who was listening to these words in the room, was speechless. She rolled her eyes as she had long known that Cindy was a very annoying woman. She had learned that from Celeste when they were helping her break away from Cindy.
She felt even more speechless when she heard these words.
She had a hunch that Cindy might really break in.
Hence, Maria rolled her eyes, sat on the bed, and took out her beauty mask. She was prepared to put on a face mask. Cindy smiled and said, "Liam, the reason why I'm here today is because I must know who the woman you're dating is."
"I won't let you know," Liam refused directly. "You're just wasting your time, Miss White. I will protect my girlfriend."
"Are you really not going to listen to me anymore?"
"I used to listen to you and respect you," Liam said in a low voice. "But now, I'm going to terminate the contract. I have seen who you truly are, so there's no need for that anymore." Hearing this, Cindy's eyes drooped. Suddenly, she stood up and walked towards the bedroom without a word.
Liam got up quickly and stopped Cindy before she arrived. "Please behave yourself, Miss White."
"Get out of my way," Cindy said in a deep voice. "I want to go in and see who that woman is. I want to see what kind of a woman would want to be in a relationship with you during moments like these." Liam said in a deep voice again, "Miss White, please leave."
"Liam, open the door and let me have a look. After that, I will tell you why you were banned," Cindy looked at him and said.
This was her condition.
However, Liam refused her. "I don't need to know why I. You can leave now."
Cindy was taken aback and frowned. "Don't you want to know?"
"That's right, I don't want to know."
It no longer had any meaning to Liam.
He did not need to know. Besides, he was ready to terminate the contract.
At this moment, the door opened from the inside.
Cindy was delighted as she looked at the door.
All of a sudden, she screamed with fear. "Ah!"
Liam also looked in at once.
Maria, whose face was covered, appeared at the door. The mask on her face was black, hence no features of her face could be seen. Her eyes were big. She looked at Cindy and said in a toneless voice, "Didn't you want to see me? I'll show you who I am."
After Cindy came to herself, she was extremely embarrassed. "You, who are you?"
Liam was also frightened by Maria. He looked at Maria and could not help but laugh. Maria was quite amusing. She had actually thought of this.
Even he could not tell that it was Maria, let alone Cindy.
Cindy stared at Maria speechlessly.
"So why is Liam being banned?" Maria asked.
Cindy was flustered and narrowed her eyes. "Fine, it was because he was disobedient."
"How has he been disobedient?" Maria asked again.
"Tell me your name," Cindy put forward the conditions. "Tell me, and I will let you know."
Seeing her chuckle, Maria could tell that this was a shameless woman. Perhaps Cindy had no tentions of telling her anything.
She smiled and suddenly reached out her hands to grab Cindy's clothes. She pulled her to the door.
Cindy was caught off guard and almost fell down because of Maria.
Maria did not care about her. She continued tugging her, pulling her to the door. She then opened it, and threw her out.
Cindy almost fell to the ground.
Maria looked at her and said in a deep voice, "Cindy, I am warning you, don't do bad things in the future. Otherwise, if you walk in the dark, you'll meet with the ghosts."
After that, Maria slammed the door shut and locked it.
Cindy stood outside the door, dumbstruck.
She could not believe that she was thrown out by this weird woman.
She walked over to knock on the door, but no one opened the door for her.
Maria turned around and saw Liam looking at her with a helpless look.
She immediately pointed at her face. "I will go and wash my face."
Liam nodded at her.
Maria went back to the room and washed off the mask on her face. The moment she turned around, she was blocked by Liam.
He stopped Maria, lowered his head to look at her, and said, "You were so cute just now."
"Are you referring to the mask or what I did to Cindy?" Maria asked in confusion. She really did not know which one he was referring to.
"Both," Liam said with a smile.
Maria laughed in embarrassment. "Haha, I was so angry, I was worried that she would break in. I just wanted to scare her. She must be very curious because she didn't see me clearly. I guessed that she won't stop until she sees my face."
Liam nodded. "It's possible. We have to think of a way to stop them from taking pictures of you."
"It's okay. My dad will act on it if he replaces out," Maria said," I won't go out these few days. It would be better to bore her to death."
"You silly girl." Liam pinched her lovely nose with his hand.
Maria pouted, wrinkled her nose and complained in a low voice, "Cindy is a bad woman. She deliberately provoked me, but I won't be fooled."
"It is good that you know that. I was really worried that you would get angry," Liam spoke out his concerns.
"Angry? I won't be fooled by her." Maria reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck. "You are mine. Why should I be angry? Am I that bored?" "Don't you feel upset?" Liam asked again.
Maria hesitated for a moment and nodded. "Yes, a little bit."
"How can I make you feel less upset?" Liam asked softly.
At that point in time, there were still knocks on the door.
It was loud.
Maria looked at him and said, "I did not expect Cindy to still be knocking on the door. Why is this woman so annoying?"
"Don't worry about her," Liam looked at Maria and said softly. "How about I make you feel better?"
"How would you make me feel better?" Maria asked as she tilted her head.
"I will serve you well," he whispered in Maria's ear.
Maria was flustered and her face turned slightly red. She said, "Okay, you promised."
He lowered his head, found Maria's lips, and started kissing her.
The two of them were extremely intimate towards each other as the slamming on the door by Cindy continued.
They ignored the noise outside. At that moment, they only had themselves. There was no more room for anyone else. Since Cindy could not open the door, she got even more annoyed.
She continued to knock for ten minutes, but no one opened the door. Hence, she could only leave in disappointment.
She met with Johnny and Teresa.
"Miss White, how was it?" Johnny asked.
Teresa also looked at Cindy eagerly, as she was hoping that she would bring good news.
"There is indeed a woman in his house. I did not see her face. I was even thrown out by that woman," Cindy said in a deep voice.
"You didn't see her?" Teresa was shocked.
"She was wearing a mask. I could only see her big eyes, but I couldn't see her face clearly." Cindy looked upset.
