True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1627
"I saw it too. She looks like a very young girl. She tied her hair up into a bun, and it didn't look like she was wearing makeup. She looks more like a student." Teresa carefully recalled what she saw when she was in the underground parking lot. "It seems like Liam really dotes on that girl. He won't even let her carry anything heavy. He would rather come down for a second trip than let her carry anything."
"If that's true, then he must really love her," Johnny was surprised as well. "But I am not clear about his current situation. He rarely comes out these days, and I have asked someone to tail him for a month. However, he hadn't been in contact with any woman. This woman really just came out of nowhere."
Cindy was taken aback. She thought for a moment and said, "Johnny, didn't you say that Liam went to England?"
Johnny nodded. "Yes, I asked him to come back immediately, and he also came back immediately." "When?" Cindy asked him.
"A few days ago. Wednesday?" Johnny said, "Yes, it was on Wednesday."
Cindy frowned. She then thought of something. Celeste had already returned, so what was Liam doing in England?
Could it be that Liam went there to see Celeste? Did he think that Celeste wouldn't return? Was that why he went to England?
Cindy knew that Celeste did not come back with Gary and Ernest, and Liam could have gone to England to visit Celeste and take advantage of her at that time.
Even so, why was there suddenly a new girl who came out of nowhere?
Or did this happen after he returned from England?
Cindy tried to recall the appearance of the girl. All of a sudden, she screamed, "I know who the girl is now."
"Who is she?"
"Who?"
Teresa and Johnny both looked at Cindy and asked her in great surprise.
Cindy looked at them and said, "If my guess is correct, the girl is most likely the little girl of the Lowe family, Zachary's daughter."
When they heard this, they were all shocked.
Teresa felt as if her heart was completely ripped apart. She could not calm herself down.
Could it really be Zachary's daughter?
Wasn't that an awesome thing? No wonder Zachary was willing to help him. It was because of his daughter, wasn't it?
Teresa lost her soul at once. It felt like her soul had flown away, and she had no sense of belonging anymore.
She did not say a word, as she only sat down with a pale face.
Johnny was also flustered. "Miss White, are you sure?"
"It should be her," Cindy said. "That child is very beautiful. She is not even 21 years old this year. She looks very young. She went to England to study at the age of 16. She was in the same school as Liam and went to the University of London. Besides, she is now studying a postgraduate course at the university. I think that Liam went to England to see her."
Now that she thought about it, she should be right.
Cindy was greatly surprised at the fact that Liam was able to hook up with Zachary's daughter.
"Then, is the Lowe family determined to terminate the contract for Liam?" Johnny was getting somewhat worried. "If they really teamed up with the Jones family and the Yarbrough family, then our company is really not a match for them."
When Cindy heard this, she smiled and said, "A few years ago, they threatened me greatly. Look at me, I am still living a good life, aren't I?"
Johnny looked at Cindy and smiled, "Miss White, you are a legend. You have been famous for so long. We really admire you a lot."
Cindy only smiled faintly and said, "All of you should head back. I will make a phone call and ask about the situation."
Teresa did not speak. She suddenly looked at Cindy and asked, "Miss White, who are you going to call?"
Cindy glanced at her and frowned. She seemed to be very unhappy. "There is no need for you to know."
Teresa was startled. She felt somewhat awkward and explained at once, "I am sorry, Miss White. I was just worried about Liam. I don't mean anything else."
Cindy smiled faintly and said, "Miss Trevino, to tell you the truth, Liam is not someone you should think about. Why don't you just focus on your acting career? Since you chose the entertainment circle and sacrificed a lot of precious things, don't hope that love will come again. You can't be too greedy."
Teresa's expressions got worse. She knew that Cindy was warning her, thus she forced a smile. "Thanks for your wisdom, Miss White, I will keep it in mind."
Cindy simply responded to her without even looking at her.
Teresa stood up and told Cindy, "Miss White, then I will be leaving first."
"Bye."
Johnny got up too, and he was ready to leave.
Cindy stopped him and said, "Johnny, tell your boss about this, and then pay up."
"Yes, Miss White." Johnny then left.
Cindy was the only one left in the private room.
She picked up her phone and called Celeste.
Celeste quickly answered it. She asked over the phone, "Hello, who is this?"
Upon hearing Celeste's question, Cindy frowned and said unhappily, "What's wrong? It hasn't been that long, and you have already forgotten my number?"
When she suddenly heard Cindy's words, Celeste was greatly surprised. She was shocked and asked, "It's you?"
"Yes, it's me," Cindy said in a deep voice.
"Why did you call me?" Celeste asked in a calm and distant tone.
"Alright, I will get straight to the point," Cindy said. "Zachary's daughter has a good relationship with you, is that right?"
"Why are you asking me this?" Celeste was not too polite towards Cindy. Her tone was cold and even on alert.
"Of course I have my reasons," Cindy said again. "What is her name?"
Celeste felt that it was strange. Cindy calling her alone was enough of a weird thing, and she was now even asking about Maria. Since she found it to be a little bit weird, she kept up her wariness and did not tell her.
"What do you mean by that?" Celeste asked her, "Why are you suddenly asking for that?"
"She likes Liam, doesn't she?" Cindy asked directly. "Does she like him so much that she can do anything for him?"
Celeste took a deep breath in her heart and denied, "No, she never said that she likes Liam. You are acting very strange. Why are you suddenly asking all these questions? What do you want?"
"I am relieved that you denied it. It seems that Zachary's daughter really does like Liam," Cindy said with a smile. "Celeste, you can't outsmart your elders. You should know that there is a reason why I am able to live for so long."
Celeste really didn't understand what Cindy meant by that. She had a bad feeling in her heart. "You wouldn't ask for no reason at all. You must have a purpose."
"So, what do you think it is?" Cindy asked her back.
"I won't guess. I'm just reminding you. You shouldn't hurt anyone again." Celeste's tone was stern. "I hope you will behave yourself."
"It's you who needs to behave, Celeste," Cindy's tone got sharper. "You have been so conscienceless all these years. You have long forgotten me because of your little happy life. You are ungrateful." Upon being called out, Celeste was speechless.
She remained silent.
Cindy sneered and said, "Don't think that you can relax just because you've climbed up a high branch. Let me tell you, rich families are not so easy to enter. Even if you get married, you may not stay for long. I don't think that Heinz's son is truly so devoted to you."
Celeste pursed her lips and said coldly, "Thank you for your reminder. All this has nothing to do with you. It's my business whether I enter a wealthy family or not."
Celeste directly hung up the phone.
Cindy was so angry that she almost threw her phone away.
Celeste was still in the Jones family of Northern City. She felt greatly upset after receiving such a phone call. She was really worried about Maria and immediately called her.
When the phone was connected, Maria and Liam were still deeply enjoying each other.
She reached for her phone, gave it a glance, and told Liam, "I'll answer the phone. Don't move first."
Liam bent over and whispered in her ear, "Who is calling you? Why don't you answer it after we are done, hmm?"
Maria shrank her neck and whispered, "It's Celeste. There must be something urgent. Normally, she would send me a message. She wouldn't just call me like that."
Liam was taken aback. He looked at Maria.
Maria smiled, as she picked up the phone.
"Hello, Celeste, what's wrong?" Even though she had answered the phone, her eyes never left Liam.
Liam did not move, as he stared at her with surging eyes.
