Liam was shocked by what Maria told him.

When did Maria start planning these things? Why did Liam not know about it at all? Liam wondered.

He stared at her with surprise in his eyes for a long time.

She was a little stunned when she saw him looking at her in a daze like that. "What's the matter?"

He returned to his senses and looked at her, saying, "I'm just surprised. I can't believe that you've actually planned all this."

"I wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly. My original plan was to edit the script a little further after it was completed before slowly forming a production team and getting the cast. However, since my dad helped you terminate your contract a few days ago, I immediately discussed this with Adrian once I got here. The two of us quickly came to an agreement," she explained.

At the mention of Adrian, Liam frowned a little.

As a man, he could sense that Adrian's relationship with Maria was not that simple.

Perhaps Adrian had a crush on Maria.

However, Liam's reasoning told him that Maria was not that kind of woman. It was just that he would sometimes feel possessive as a man.

Because of his possessiveness, he could not help but get worried at times.

"It seems like Adrian is quite supportive of you," he remarked, sounding a little jealous.

Maria loved him deeply, so she naturally heard the worry in his words.

"Liam, are you unhappy about us working together?" she asked, looking at him cautiously.

Liam shook his head and replied, "No, I'm just surprised."

"Surprised by what?"

He looked at her and smiled bitterly. "I was surprised that you didn't tell me such an important thing."

She immediately cradled his face. "I wanted to surprise you. You've been in a dilemma because of the contract for such a long time. I was worried that you might worry about me, so I planned this out secretly. Don't be angry, okay?"

Liam shook his head, explaining quickly, "I'm not angry. Everything you did for me makes me feel like I'm not worthy of you."

Surprised, her eyes widened. "No way? Are you doubting yourself?"

Maria was supposed to be the doubtful one in the relationship, right? Maria thought to herself.

There were plenty of times where she had thought that she was not good enough for Liam. She never expected that he would feel that way too.

She blinked, her eyes filled with worry and surprise.

Liam looked at her and shook his head slightly. "Sometimes, I don't feel confident too."

"No, you must be confident," she said firmly, determined to help him regain his confidence. "Liam, listen to me. You have to believe in yourself. You're the best. I like you so much because you excel in everything. You sing well, and you act well. You have a warm smile, and you're handsome. These are reasons for you to be confident."

Upon hearing her words of encouragement, he suddenly realized that there was a sense of disparity between them in his heart. That was because of how outstanding Maria was.

She came from a prominent family, and despite growing up in a privileged environment, she was kind and warm.

He admitted that he felt inferior to her.

The realization also served as a reminder to himself.

It made him understand that he needed to make some adjustments to himself.

He took a deep breath, smiled, and lowered his head to look at her. "I'm sorry, I was too sensitive. I promise you that I'll get my thoughts and emotions in order."

"Are you sure you're okay?" she asked, looking at him suspiciously. "Let me tell you why I cooperated with Adrian. It's because the two of us have an interest in the entertainment industry. We're also classmates, are our courses are not too different from each other's. Besides, he has funds. We're just students, after all. One person's capabilities are limited, so that's why I wanted to work with him. Well be able to share the load and help each other out. The most important thing is that he knows the director. The director I chose was Marcello Andrews."

"Marcello Andrews?" Liam repeated, stunned. "He's famous in the industry and is known to be very particular. He has very high expectations toward his work."

"You think he's great too, don't you?" Maria asked, feeling a little proud.

"If he's the director, then this project is already on its way to success," Liam said. "I think it's great."

"I think so too. The script will be completed in three days. I'll let Marcello take a look at it once it's done. He has read the book, and he thinks that it has great potential too," she explained. "He's interested in directing it."

"Do you want to be the show's producer?"

"Being the producer is too tiring. I don't have that much time," she replied. "Let's talk about that in the future. This is the first show I prepared for you, so I'll definitely follow up closely."

"Your studies should be of utmost importance," Liam said. "You should prioritize your studies. Nothing else is more important than that."

"But to me, you're the most important," she protested. "Studying is not as important as you are."

It was a declaration of love.

Naturally, Liam was shocked by it.

He looked at her with a sparkle in his eyes. "You silly girl," he murmured.

She smiled, pulling the covers over them. After that, she put her arms around Liam's neck and said, "Mr. Robinson, are you going to chat like this forever?"

Her words stunned him, but then he smiled. "It seems that you're impatient. Are you urging me to act?"

She nodded, admitted boldly, "That's right. I can't wait any longer. I want you to love me."

As soon as she said that, she blushed.

The sight warmed his heart. He lowered his head and kissed her.

They had just taken a shower, so a sweet fragrance lingered on her body, tempting him even further.

As he wrapped his arms around her body, his hands felt like they were covered in flames, for they were very warm and hot.

His burning touch made her blush even more, and she could not help calling out his name.

It was late at night.

Celeste went downstairs to get a glass of water.

It was then that she heard the screams coming from Maria's room. Stunned, her hands trembled, and she nearly spilled the water in her glass. She quickly returned to her room.

Gary, who was standing at the door, turned to look at her. Then, he glanced at Maria's room. He smiled in a meaningful way and asked, "You heard it?" She looked up at him, her eyes filled with

embarrassment.

He blocked her path and said in a low voice, "Shh, listen to it again."

"How shameless would that be?" she demanded.

"What's there to be embarrassed about?" he asked. He took the glass from her hand and went to place it in the room. Then, he turned back around and hugged her. He was in no hurry to enter the room. They could still hear some sounds coming from Maria's room. He knew all too well what they were doing. Judging from the sounds, it was evident that they were having a good time.

Listening to them made Celeste feel a little awkward. She looked up at Gary and said in a low voice, "Maria is your cousin. We can't do this. What if we're discovered? How embarrassing would that be?" He did not seem to mind it at all. Instead, he smiled and said, "Didn't Sylvia enjoy listening to us back then every day too? This makes me realize how cute Sylvia is. Eavesdropping is really quite exciting." Celeste did not want to listen anymore, so she dragged Gary into the room.

She used all of her strength.

Finally, she managed to pull him into the room

He had wanted to continue listening, but she was not having any of it. He found it quite amusing. "Why are you in such a hurry? Let's listen. Don't you replace it exciting?"

She closed the door and said, "Shut up. Don't you feel any shame at all? Give them some privacy."

"Okay." Glancing at his watch, he said, "Since we shouldn't intrude on their privacy, does that mean that we can do what they're doing?"

She blushed. "Go wash up first. I'll go and wash up after I've had some water."

"I'll wait for you. We can wash up together," he said. He did not want to wash up by himself. His eyes seemed to smile as he looked at her, unable to contain his excitement. She handed him a glass of water and said, "Drink."

He took it and drank it all in one gulp.

She looked up at him and watched as his Adam's apple bobbed from drinking the water. It made him look extra sexy.

She seemed mesmerized.

He put down the cup and smiled when he saw her looking at him. "Why were you staring at me like that? I'm very handsome, aren't I?"

He was indeed very handsome.

He had everything she wanted in a man.

She looked at him with a smile in her eyes and nodded. "Yes, you're very handsome."

As soon as she finished drinking her water, he swept her up into his arms and walked to the bathroom.
