The call ended.

Gary narrowed his eyes, a dangerous glint in them.

That woman's every action was about to be captured easily.

He smiled as he thought of how she had still not learned to be more cautious despite all those hard lessons previously.

Celeste looked at his strange smile. It was as sly as a fox. "Get back to work," she said. "Stop getting distracted by personal matters."

He smiled and replied, "Isn't that why I have you here to keep me in check? Don't worry, it's fine. Personal matters are more important to me."

She was speechless when she saw his devilish grin. She could only say rather helplessly, "Okay. I'll keep an eye on you."

He seemed to be in a good mood, probably because he had put his plan into action and was only waiting for the results.

When they got home from work, Liam and Maria were both at home. Ernest also came back in the evening.

The five of them sat down to dinner together. None of them mentioned Cindy during dinner, probably because all of them knew that the mention of her would ruin their appetites.

After they finished their meal, Gary finally said, "Has everyone finished eating?"

Maria smiled and said, "Yes. Now, we can start talking about that disgusting topic. Gary, are you going to talk about her?"

Gary nodded. "Yes. We're going to discuss that person."

"Do you know who I'm referring to?" Maria asked him with a smile.

"Of course. Cindy," he replied. "I received news today that her agent and Sinclair are both coming to London. The two of them are coming here on two separate flights, probably because they're afraid of being discovered."

Ernest raised his eyebrows slightly and asked, "When will they be arriving in London?"

"It's estimated that they'll arrive at ten o'clock tonight."

"So, should we go and watch the fun?" Ernest asked.

"Not this time, but why don't we watch the live broadcast? It'll be too troublesome to drive there. We can all go about our business first, then we'll watch the live broadcast at midnight," he said confidently. Celeste and Maria both looked at him in surprise.

Maria asked, "Gary, it's explicit content. Is it suitable for us to watch it together?"

Gary looked at her and said, "Are you expecting to see something like that? Dream on. You and Celeste will just watch for fun. If there's explicit content, then the two of you will have to stop watching. I'll watch it together with Liam and Ernest."

Celeste and Maria looked at each other, feeling a little awkward.

To be honest, she did not want to see anything of that sort.

"When the time comes, I'll see whether it's suitable for the both of you to watch or not. Only then will I call you guys to come and watch," Gary finally decided.

Once their discussion was over, they returned to their respective rooms.

Celeste still wanted to study, but Gary picked her up in his arms and said, "Get some sleep first. We still have a mission to complete tonight. You should sleep well before you continue studying."

"I just ate, so I'm not sleepy," she protested, not wanting to sleep so soon. "Put me down."

Gary gazed at her meaningfully and said, "Since you just ate, then let's burn off some of that energy. You need to exercise to burn some energy."

"Gary, aren't you tired?" He had kept her up for a long time the previous night. Earlier that day, she even had to lie at the office for a while before she felt better. Otherwise, she would not have been able to make it through the day.

"I'm not tired," he replied confidently. "These are the best years of my life. I'm young and strong and full of energy. I don't feel fatigued at all."

What kind of logic was that! Celeste thought to herself.

She was carried into the bathroom.

Then, the two of them took a shower together.

"I'll give you the best years of my life. The strongest years of my life are yours. Don't you feel happy about that?" he teased.

She looked directly at him.

She tiptoed and looked straight into his eyes, letting the water wash over them, then nodded solemnly. "Very happy. It's my honor. Thank you for giving me all your strength and best years of your life." Gary froze when he heard that. Then, he laughed and leaned forward to hug her. He whispered into her ear, "The most beautiful moment in my life was when I met you. You've given me your youth and your respect. Thank you."

She hugged him back.

He was unable to hold back any longer. After forty minutes, the two of them came out of the bathroom. Although she was clean after the shower, she did not have any strength left. Now, she was tired and wanted to sleep.

Just as she was about to close her eyes, he leaned closer to her. "I'm really tired. I want to sleep. Don't you dare torture me anymore," she mumbled

He smiled and said, "I don't want to torture you either. However, that was too short. Once is not enough."

"Don't get close to me," she muttered.

Unable to bear seeing her in such a tired state, he did not continue teasing her. He lowered his head and looked at her with a gentle and doting gaze.

Although she had wanted to sleep, she could sense his gaze on her. So, she opened her eyes and looked at him.

"Didn't you say you wanted to sleep?" he asked.

"One hour," she mumbled, not daring to meet his eyes. "Just one hour, okay?"

He grinned mischievously like a cat that was about to steal a fish. "All right. One hour doesn't seem like it's enough. I want another ten minutes. Make it seventy minutes, okay? Back in the bathroom, the conditions were limited, so I couldn't fully showcase my abilities."

"Hush. Okay, seventy minutes it is," she muttered.

However, Gary still went over the allotted time, going up to a total of ninety minutes.

After that, Celeste fell asleep straight away as if she had fainted.

After quickly washing up, he changed his clothes and went out of the room.

As soon as he opened the door, he saw the door to the next room open as well.

Liam walked out and the two of them happened to see each other. They both looked at each other.

There was a hint of unspoken understanding in their eyes, and the aura emanating from both of them made it clear what had just happened.

Gary smiled as he asked, "Liam, where are you going?"

"I was going downstairs to wait for your news," Liam replied. "What about you? Where are you going?"

Gary chuckled. "I was just going to get everything ready," he said. Taking his tablet with him, he went downstairs with Liam.

They did not see Ernest downstairs.

"Is Ernest still upstairs?" Gary mused.

Liam nodded. "He's probably on a video call with Miss Winston."

Gary suddenly remembered how he and Celeste used to video calls all the time. During those four years, they had relied on video calls to maintain their relationship too.

He was caught up in his memories for a moment.

Noticing that he was lost in his thoughts, Liam smiled and asked, "What are you thinking about?"

"A long-distance relationship is indeed difficult," Gary said. "There are many uncertain factors that will affect how a relationship progresses."

Liam nodded. "You're right. And there are too many limitations."

"Liam, it seems like you understand this deeply," Gary teased.

Liam answered, "Sooner or later, I'll need to go back to the States. You have to go back to Boston to continue your studies, right? Actually, it doesn't matter if it's a long-distance relationship. What's important is that we have a strong determination to make it work and an unshakeable trust. The experience will only help us realize what is the most important thing."

"What's the most important thing, Liam?" Gary asked.

Liam smiled and said seriously, "Maria. She's the most important thing to me."

Gary smiled and nodded. "I hope that when we sit together and talk in thirty years, or fifty years, or even sixty years, you'll still say the same thing."

Liam smiled but did not say anything more.

He was determined not to let Maria down ever.

Some promises did not need to be spoken out loud. Holding it close to one's heart was enough.

Liam paused for a moment. Then, he looked at Gary calmly and said, "I wish that we'll all still be here after sixty years. We'll sit together, all three couples, to reminisce about the past and talk about everything under the sun."

Gary smiled and said, "That's a beautiful wish. That day will definitely come."

After turning on his tablet, he was shocked by the images he saw.

Liam was stunned too. There were a few different images on the screen, and they were all of two people, and that was Cindy and Michael.

Gary picked up his phone and opened up a message. It was a video of Cindy and Michael together in a shop.

They were buying some toys for the bedroom.

And now, those purchases were being put to good use.

The two of them were having a good time on the sofa.

Gary clicked his tongue and sighed. "Thank goodness I didn't get the girls to see this. This is way too much."

Even Liam was a little embarrassed by what he saw.

For young men like them who had only experienced it for a short time, seeing that was really deadly.

It was also a little difficult for them to accept it.

However, they did not turn it off.

At that moment, they heard the sound of footsteps on the stairs, and Ernest's figure appeared. When he saw them staring at the screen, he asked in surprise, "Is it connected? Can you see it?" Gary and Liam looked at each other, then spoke at the same time.

"Of course we can."

"It's pretty hot."

When Ernest went over to take a look, he was stunned as well.

Gary glanced at him and said, "Are you up to this or not? If you're going to have nosebleeds, it'll be better for you to stop watching it."

Gary said that after considering the fact that Ernest probably had not experienced such things for that long yet. It would be pushing it too far if they let him watch.

Ernest looked at him and replied, "Of course I want to see this. How will I know what they're doing if I don't watch it?"

Gary laughed. "All right, watch and learn. These experienced ones are very good at this. They're doing things that we don't know, so let's just watch and learn. This is their hobby, after all." They continued to monitor what went on at Cindy's house.

Time passed by very slowly.

At fifteen minutes past ten that night.

Gary's phone rang.

The person on the other end said, "They've arrived and just got off the plane. The woman seems to be waiting for the man. She's hiding in a coffee shop at the airport."
