"Okay." Grace nodded. There was probably no one in the world else besides Grace who could understand better how Celeste felt towards her biological parents. She carefully packed the letter before heading upstairs. She found a box and placed the letter in it, and locked it.

Meanwhile, Monica and Sinclair met at the airport.

They were followed by the Interpol. They were shocked to see each other.

Monica was first startled when she saw Sinclair, and then she smiled after a while.

Sinclair also smiled. His smile was mixed with his emotions as well as a sense of understanding. He didn't expect that they would be brought back together by the police. They came on the same flight, and they left on the same flight as well.

They couldn't greet each other as the policemen were escorting them. They could only exchange a look, but there was no need for words.

After proceeding with the check-in, they went to the departure hall together.

Monica sat there quietly.

Sinclair asked the police next to him, "Can I talk to Monica?"

"Yes." The police actually agreed.

It was beyond Sinclair's expectation. He was very surprised by that.

"However, we will be listening to everything that you say," the police said.

"It doesn't matter." Sinclair shook his head. "As long as we can talk."

Thus, they were then sitting together. Sinclair looked at Monica and said, "I really didn't expect that we'd come to this day. Monica, are you satisfied now?"

Monica looked up at him. He was the man she had loved deeply. She smiled bitterly and said, "I am not satisfied, what about you?"

"I'm quite satisfied actually." Sinclair smiled. "We can finally forget about our grudges. Don't worry, I don't hate you either. We're like old friends. Our grievances all these years can finally come to an end." Monica looked down and said, "It is indeed time to end it. After all, you will have to pay for what you owe."

Sinclair smiled and said, "I wonder when Cindy will be brought back? I can't wait."

"It won't be too late. They will definitely bring her back." Monica said, "She will also be jailed, and maybe all of us will be jailed."

"Can we meet after getting out of jail?" Sinclair asked as he looked at Monica.

Monica smiled and said, "We are yet to be jailed, and you're already talking about being released from jail. Let's just go with the flow. Stop overthinking."

"You're right." Sinclair nodded and smiled. "I was indeed thinking too far ahead."

Monica was silent.

Sinclair asked again, "Have you transferred all of Michael's money?"

"Half of it," Monica said.

"That's enough." The police officer reminded, "You don't have to talk about private matters like this."

Sinclair was startled. It seemed like Michael didn't tell the truth.

Monica only asked for half of his money.

Sinclair was rather surprised to hear that.

Monica was indeed kind hearted. She wouldn't go overboard in anything. She was always kind to others as well.

He sighed. He realized that women like Suanne and Cindy weren't the most suitable to become his wife, but Monica was.

"Monica, there's something I want to tell you," Sinclair said, "I now realized that I should have married you instead, but then back then... Anyway, it's all in the past now. It's not like I can rewind time." Upon hearing that, Monica suddenly froze. Subconsciously, she turned to look at Sinclair.

Then, tears welled up in her eyes.

She was staring at Sinclair as she cried in silence.

Tears streamed down her cheeks, so unscrupulously, but in the end, she was smiling through her tears.

"What's the point of saying this now?" She asked.

"I just want to live with no regrets," said Sinclair.

"Who do you love the most?" Monica suddenly asked.

Dumbfounded, Sinclair looked at her.

"Don't lie to me. Just tell me the truth," Monica said as she looked seriously at Sinclair.

Sinclair was also looking at Monica as he said, "Yannie. She's always in my dreams. I hope you don't mind when I say I should've married you instead of Suanne."

Monica smiled wryly and said, "I can't compare myself with the dead, can I? Yannie is dead but she's always on your mind. Cindy and I are still around you, so of course you would never appreciate us. Anyway it's our choice to stay by your side. We brought this upon ourselves."

After sighing, Monica wiped her tears and said no more.

Sinclair said nothing either.

The two were sitting next to each other in the crowded airport as people walked past them. None of them said anything. They were in silence.

Several policemen were monitoring them.

It was time to board the plane.

"It's time. Let's go," the policeman said.

Sinclair was about to brush past Monica when he extended his arms and gave her a hug.

It could be the last time he got to hug her, and no one knew when would the next time be.

In the next second, Sinclair let go of Monica and boarded the plane before her.

Monica's eyes turned red. Her mixed emotions were surging within and her eyes were brimming with tears.

She stared at Sinclair's back until his figure disappeared amongst the crowd. She then only continued walking forward after the policemen urged her to.

It was already night. The lighting in the plane was dimmed too. Monica was sitting by the window after boarding the plane. Sinclair was already nowhere to be seen.

She didn't know where Sinclair was sitting at. The plane was not that huge, yet she didn't get to see him.

London.

In the villa.

Late at night.

Gary received a phone call. "Mr. Jones, Cindy has been sent to the hospital at 11:30p.m."

"Why was she sent to the hospital?" Gary was woken up by the phone. He held the phone and sat up in a daze.

On the other side, he reported, "It's said that her uterus prolapsed according to the news from our people."

Gary didn't recover from his shock for a long time. After he regained his senses, he sneered and said, "It's indeed her karma then to have this problem for having such a messy private life."

"The doctor seemed to have concluded that it was due to excessive sexual activity. They have been engaging themselves from noon till a little after 9 p.m. without taking a break in between. They were almost mad about it. I heard that she was already unconscious and even incontinent upon arriving at the hospital," the other end reported.

"Serves her right." Gary didn't feel any sympathy for Cindy. She deserved that.

Yet, it was not going to be the end for Cindy.

She would still have to face legal punishment for everything she committed.

After hanging up the phone, Gary turned around and glanced at Celeste. He decided to tell her about what happened.

Celeste gasped slightly after hearing about it, and was rendered speechless.

"Do you feel sorry for her?" Gary asked.

Celeste shook her head. She didn't feel sorry for Cindy.

There was nothing for her to feel sorry about. She was just a little shocked to learn about uterus prolapse being a possible scenario. "What's wrong then? Why do you look like this? Are you shocked?" Gary asked.

"Yes, that shocked me a little." Celeste nodded.

They were no longer feeling sleepy.

Shortly after Gary was informed of that, Heinz and

Grace were surely the next to be informed.

Heinz was startled for a moment after learning about it. He didn't speak for a while. Grace woke up in a daze to check on him. Heinz then hung up the phone and told Grace about it.

Grace was also startled. She then sighed and said, "She's really pitiful and pathetic. Indeed, she brought this upon herself."

Heinz nodded and said, "They removed her uterus during the surgery as the prolapse was too severe. It was already completely out of place. The probability for them to put it back in place was too low." Grace replied, "Now that she has lost her uterus, I think she can no longer act this recklessly. I hope she will learn from this, reflect on her past wrongdoings and be a better person."

Heinz didn't agree. "It's true that she will have to restrain her private life after this, but I don't think she will reflect on her wrongdoings."

"Let's forget about her then." Grace let out a yawn. "I'm sleepy. Let's get back to sleep, shall we? Why am I suddenly so sleepy?" Heinz noticed that she indeed looked exhausted. "Did I tire you out too much last night?"

She shook her head and yawned again. "I don't know. I replace it strange too. I just feel sleepy. Are you sleeping yet? I'll go to sleep first." She dozed off as soon as she finished speaking.

Heinz was also surprised to see her falling asleep instantly as he heard her slow breathing. A glimmer of light flashed across his eyes.

He still remembered the last time when she was that sleepy, she was actually pregnant with Sebastian and Sylvia. Could it be that she was pregnant again?
