True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1700
"Is Michael going back?" He was surprised by the news.
Gary wondered what Michael was planning to do by returning.
"Yes, Michael did book a flight back, but he's headed to the south, instead of the Northern City," the other end replied.
"Understood." Gary hung up the call.
At the same time, Heinz also received a message. "Mr. Jones, Michael is returning. Before he left, Cindy transferred 20 million dollars to him."
Heinz was holding the phone as he narrowed his eyes.
"Keep an eye on Michael and keep track of his whereabouts. Don't alarm him," Heinz said.
"Noted," the other end replied.
"Also, some adult film crew is at Cindy's place. Their films are usually aired on the midnight channels. We presume that Cindy is perhaps filming some adult content that are not going to be aired on the proper channels," the other end informed.
"Do you mean the X rating films?" Heinz asked.
"It's possible. The crew at her place are professionals in this field. She also invited five or six male actors in the industry over. It seems like they are really getting it on," he said.
Heinz thought for a moment and said, "Keep an eye on them. Don't let Cindy run away."
"Understood."
After hanging up, Heinz noticed that Grace was looking at him worriedly.
"You went out so early today and have been on calls nonstop since you came back. I didn't even get to talk much with you. What happened today?" Grace asked. Seeing that she was so worried, Heinz couldn't help but smiled. "I met with Sinclair and handed him to the Interpol. They are preparing to bring him back." "So soon?" Grace was surprised.
"We have Jensen to thank for this. He has his connections and it makes things so much easier. It's the least we can do for Suanne to bring Sinclair back," Heinz said. Grace pitied Suanne too. She indeed was being put in a difficult situation.
She nodded. "Sinclair should face his punishment.
Suanne was framed so badly that it took a heavy toll on her assets. Although money wasn't something that was of great importance, but to Suanne, it's comforting enough to have some of her money back." "You're right. I met with Cindy too afterwards. She seemed to have figured something out, but she didn't leave that place. She sent Michael away, and invited some adult film crews over to her place. It seems like they are going to film some adult contents."
Stunned, Grace asked in confusion, "Is she still dreaming of being an actress at times like this?"
Heinz couldn't help but to notice that Grace had an innocent mind.
Even after all those years, there were still times where Grace was as naive as a young girl, and she was so adorable like that.
He smiled. "Don't you know what 'adult content' means?"
Grace was startled. After noticing Heinz's tone while asking her the question, she thought for a while and then suddenly realized something. She stared at him with her widened eyes in surprise. "Are you talking about those adult rated films that can't be broadcasted to the public?" Grace asked.
Heinz nodded and chuckled. "How can you still be this innocent at your age? You're adorable."
"I didn't think of this." Grace couldn't help blushing and feeling a little confused. "Is Cindy sick in her mind? Why is she filming this?"
"Perhaps she's indeed sick." Heinz shrugged. "I don't understand her at all. What is she even thinking? Perhaps to her, it's perfectly fine to be this shameless, and maybe we've underestimated just how shameless she could be."
Grace shook her head and sighed. "She's bringing this upon herself."
"Let's stop talking about her." Heinz smiled as he wrapped his arms around her and said, "Let's just focus on leading a good life together. We just have to be self-disciplined ourselves." Grace nodded.
That afternoon, Alex called Gary over. "Mr. Gary, President Jones is asking you to hand Monica over to the Interpol. They'll bring Monica and Sinclair back together."
Gary glanced at Alex. After thinking for a while, he asked, "Are you saying to let them take the same flight back?"
"The Interpol will have their own arrangement for this. It's out of our control," Alex said, "However, I believe they will arrange everything accordingly and make sure that they'll bring Sinclair and Monica back safely."
Gary nodded and said, "All right, get someone over to take her away then. You know, I have spent a lot to hire those people to look after her. You'll be helping me to cut costs by taking her away." Alex burst into laughter. "Mr. Gary, it's not like you're short of money."
"It's not, but then, I have to be more responsible not that I need to take care of my own woman. It's important to start cutting down on some unnecessary costs," Gary said humbly on purpose. Alex couldn't refute and laughed. "Mr. Gary, you have plenty of opportunities to make more money."
"When will you take her away?" Gary asked.
"Shortly. President Jones mentioned that you won't have to be there. Just leave it to me," Alex said. Gary knew very well that Heinz was doing it to protect him from getting himself too involved in it.
He did not want to let Heinz down.
"Go ahead then. I'll tell them to hand Monica over to you," Gary said.
"Sure," Alex replied.
Gary then made a phone call in front of Alex and arranged everything accordingly.
Alex felt gratified to see Gary keeping things in order.
"Mr. Gary, Miss White has been making rapid progress recently with your guidance," Alex said sincerely.
Gary nodded. "She is very smart and she's only lacking some professional trainings."
It could be heard from his tone that he was protective of Celeste.
Alex smiled upon seeing his sentimental side, and left soon.
That afternoon, after getting off work.
Gary and Celeste were on their way home. He briefed Celeste on the progress.
Celeste was surprised too. "That fast? Heinz is really impressive."
Gary nodded. "That's right. He's extremely efficient this time."
They soon returned home.
They ran into Heinz and Grace as soon as they walked in.
After greeting them, Heinz and Grace looked at Celeste and said, "Celeste, the Interpol sent a letter. It's from Sinclair to you. Do you want to read it?"
The letter was on the coffee table.
Celeste glanced at the letter on the coffee table, then at Grace, before shaking her head. With a smile, she said, "I'm not reading it. Grace, you can just burn the letter. I won't be reading letters from him in the future either."
All of them were startled.
Gary immediately asked, "Are you really not reading it?"
Celeste looked relaxed and shook her head again at him. She said, "He's nothing but a stranger to me. I don't have to read his letters at all. Not now, and not in the future either."
"All right, let's burn it then." Gary said to his mother, "You all don't have to read it either."
Heinz and Grace nodded.
"We'll take a shower and get dressed first," Gary said as he put his arm around Celeste. "We'll come down later."
"Go ahead." Grace nodded.
They then left.
Heinz took out the letter and started opening it.
Grace said, "Why are you reading Sinclair's letter to Celeste? It's his letter to her, and you shouldn't be doing this."
Heinz snorted. "I'm just helping Celeste to see what this b*stard wrote to her. Who knows?
Perhaps something he wrote could be comforting to her too."
Grace pursed her lips. "No one knows if he even cares for Celeste. If he does, then why did he use her?"
Heinz had already opened the letter.
The first thing he saw was the beautiful handwriting on the letter.
Heinz clicked his tongue and sighed. "I can't believe this b*stard actually has such beautiful handwriting. What a shame. If only he didn't ruin his life by going down this path."
Grace took a closer look, and she was surprised too. "His handwriting is really beautiful. Why doesn't his handwriting reflect on his personality too? Didn't they say that's the case? I'm doubtful about that saying now."
Heinz smiled upon hearing that. He then skimmed through the letter. By the end of it, he sighed and said, "The letter is just him saying he's glad to know Celeste is his daughter and he hopes that she will acknowledge him one day. He even asked her to visit him in jail."
"Is he trying to look pitiful?" Grace asked.
Heinz shook his head. "From the looks of it, his feelings for her did seem somehow genuine. The least I could say is that he's indeed happy to have Celeste as his daughter." "Well, at least he's still a human." Grace sighed. "Let's just keep the letter. Who knows? Celeste might want to read it in the future."
Heinz gave her the letter. "You keep it for her then."
