"Oh my God!"

"So ugly."

"What happened to that woman?"

When Cindy was discharged from the hospital, the sounds of gasping could be heard wherever she went. Her ears had been deluged with exclamations of shock and stupefaction.

She was stiff all over while trying to strengthen her back. It was just that she could not help drooping down her head as she walked forward.

Alex quietly raised the corners of his mouth, thinking, "This woman finally stopped stirring up trouble. Now that she knows that she's ugly, she should behave herself."

That said, he reminded himself not to let his guard down because she might not be as compliant as she appeared to be.

He took Cindy to the place where Monica had been locked up before. The room was very safe, without any tools to commit suicide. Furthermore, she would be put under surveillance continuously, so that she would not be able to harm herself at

will.

She would be brought back to the country to be punished by the law. She must not be let off easily.

With all the backdoor deals she had had with so many directors, the roles and benefits she obtained were illegal.

She and them must be brought to justice.

Cindy was taken into a quiet room.

She sat by the window, staring at her own image reflected on the glass window. The woman in the glass didn't seem to be a normal human being.

Her face was full of wriggling scars. The words "old b*tch" were carved on it. If she wanted to remove them, the only option left for her was to peel off her skin.

She fixed her eyes on the image without moving for a long time.

Outside, there were people keeping an eye on her.

After making the arrangements, Alex left.

He went to report the specific situation to Heinz.

It took him half an hour to arrive and meet up with Heinz.

They met in another villa in the area.

Heinz shot a glance at Alex and said, "Take a

seat."

"Yes." Alex did not sit down until Heinz had done so first. Then, he said respectfully to Heinz, "President, Cindy is not in a good state."

"What's wrong?" Heinz raised his eyebrow. "Hasn't she always been arrogant?"

Alex nodded. "Indeed, she was arrogant and conceited before, as if we couldn't do anything to her. However, since her face was hurt, she has never spoken."

Heinz paused for a moment before he glanced at Alex and said, "That's understandable. For Cindy, that face of hers is a tool, a medium for her to make a fortune, but it has now been ruined. Her face was more precious than her life."

"Serves her right," Alex did not sympathize with Cindy at all. "I'm just thinking that we should hand this woman over to the police as soon as possible, so that she won't die in our hands." Heinz smiled. "Hand her to the police while her face is still covered in blood?"

"I don't think there's a problem with that, since Cindy has offended so many people. All the wives of the directors she slept with in the country will be pleased to disfigure her face. She has a lot of enemies," Alex replied.

Laughing, Heinz shrugged. "Okay then, contact

Dylan to let his men take her away, but we must ensure that she will be imprisoned once she returns. I'll make a call to Zachary to ask him to pay close attention to it. We're too far to handle the domestic affairs for the time being. Anyway, we can't afford to let down our guards."

"Yes, I'll call President Lowe as soon as Cindy embarks onto the plane." Alex asked Heinz, "Is it okay?"

"Sure." Heinz nodded.

Meanwhile, the phone rang out of the blue.

Alex took a look at it and told Heinz at once, "It's from my men, who are keeping an eye on Cindy."

Heinz nodded and said, "Answer it."

Picking up the call, the voice of a bodyguard could be heard. "Mr. Alex, Cindy's condition isn't quite right. I replace her very strange."

"What's so strange?" Alex cursed in his heart. Cindy just couldn't stop creating troubles for them.

"I can't really explain it. She kept staring blankly at the glass window until a ghostly sinister smile suddenly appeared on her face. I didn't know what was going on with her. When I went in to question her, she did not speak, nor did she smile, but as soon as I left, she laughed again at the camera."

The bodyguard over there seemed to shudder as he spoke.

Alex frowned. "Guard her closely. Remember, closely." "Yes, sir."

Alex had put him on speaker, so Heinz could hear it too.

He stood up and said, "Let's go. I'll go and see her with you."

"You want to see her in person?" Alex was very surprised.

Heinz nodded. "Yes. It will be a pity if I don't get to see Celeste's masterpiece."

Alex was taken aback. He nodded and asked, "By the way, President, is Miss Celeste better?"

"Yeah, no big deal. She came around last night and ate something. When I came out, she and Gary were still sleeping." Heinz replied, "I'll go and tell Grace. Wait a minute."

They returned to the villa where they lived. Heinz told Grace about it before he left.

Grace held him down and reminded him. "It's a good idea for you to go and see her as she has an obsession with you. Go and provoke her, so that she won't kill herself. If she dies in the hands of someone connected to us, it will weigh on Celeste's conscience for the rest of her life. We have to send her back and let her receive legal punishment in the country, only then can we and Celeste be at ease."

"My thoughts exactly," Heinz answered. While looking at his wife with his inky black eyes, he couldn't resist beaming at her. "Dear, you always know me very well."

"Go ahead." Grace patted him and helped him tidy up his clothes. "Come back early."

"Okay."

It took them half an hour.

Following Alex, Heinz arrived at the place where Cindy had been locked away.

When Cindy came into their sights through the monitor, Heinz was really astounded.

Cindy's face was really frightening.

Heinz furrowed his brow after a glance at her. He sighed and said, "If she hasn't gone mad, I will be impressed, I have to say."

"She is not crazy." Alex replied, "President, don't be beguiled by this woman."

"What are you talking about? She couldn't beguile me when she was beautiful and sexy. How can she do it now with her current appearance?" Heinz gave Alex a sidelong glance.

"Sorry, I didn't mean that," Alex answered, "I'm aware of your loyalty in marriage. I just don't know much about this woman. There's no limit to what she will do at all. She might be planning something bad again so I'm afraid that you might fall into her trap."

Heinz knitted his brows again. "Can't you just hope for good things to happen to me?"

Alex had no choice but to shut up.

At this moment, it could be seen that Cindy was smiling at the camera again. Her bloody face coupled with such an eerie smile really sent chills down their spines.

All of a sudden, she made a face at the camera and made a dash for the glass window.

Being stunned, Heinz instructed sternly, "Oh no, go in and stop her!"

Just when he had finished his words, he saw Cindy bump into the glass window.

With a bang, the glass did not shatter.

Cindy, on the other hand, fell to the ground and laid down.
