All of this was beyond Leah's expectations.

She came to London to see Ernest to ease her lovesickness.

However, she didn't expect that she could just stand other people up like this.

Leah was worried, and she dragged her tired body downstairs to see if Maria and Liam had returned. Turned out that they had not.

The butler looked at Leah with a smile. "Miss Winston, Miss Maria and Master Liam are inseparable, and it's normal for them to stand someone up. Don't worry, and don't be embarrassed. Enjoy your time with Master Ernest as I'm getting off work now. Ask Master Ernest to call me if you need anything."

Leah paused for a moment before she smiled at the butler. "Okay then."

"Oh, yes. You and Master Ernest will be left alone in this villa, and no one will be around. Miss Maria said that this is a Christmas gift from Liam and her to Master Ernest."

Leah was taken aback before she realised what Maria meant. She'd never planned on coming home at all, instead allowing her to spend time with Ernest.

She was touched, amused and also exasperated.

Then, the butler said, "Miss Winston, you and Master Ernest are alone in this villa tonight, so please enjoy yourselves."

Leah blushed.

The butler laughed after he noticed that Leah understood what he said. "I boiled some warm water. I'm sure the both of you need a flask of it, and you can pour some for yourselves anytime. Alright, I'll get going."

The butler left soon after.

Leah headed downstairs to get the flask and some cups before she headed upstairs again.

She walked very slowly as she'd just gone three rounds with Ernest. Amazingly, it wasn't even midnight, and Leah was astonished at how much stamina Ernest had.

It turned out that depriving a man for such a long time was very dangerous indeed.

As soon as Leah walked into the room, Ernest quickly came to her side and took the flask. He said, "So, do you believe me now?"

Leah nodded as she sighed, "She could have told

me."

"Where's the fun in that?" Ernest asked.

Leah was surprised. On second thought, she knew that she would be embarrassed if Maria told her about the plan. Hence, Maria was just trying to spare Leah's dignity. She sighed.

Ernest looked at her and asked, "Why are you sighing?"

Leah immediately raised her head to look at Ernest's handsome face. He honestly looked even better after his release, and he was glowing. His eyes were filled with deep affection for Leah. His gaze was scalding, and it made Leah tremble.

Leah said in embarrassment, "I'm tired."

Th journey here wasn't half as tiring as this.

Ernest couldn't help but smile as he heard this, but he seemed distressed too. "Sorry, I got too carried away."

Leah shook her head and blushed.

They quickly returned to their room and Ernest poured Leah a glass of water.

"Thank you." She thanked Ernest while drinking some water.

She drank half of it and decided to save some for later, but Ernest decided to take it.

He finished the rest of her water in one breath, then poured half a glass and drank it again.

Leah gawked at his actions. He used the same cup as she did.

Furthermore, he did it so naturally, like he was meant for this.

Leah felt that Ernest was incredibly sweet. It felt great to be loved by him.

Ernest found Leah staring at him with a smile once he finished the water. He found it odd. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, really." Leah immediately shook her head and smiled even more brightly.

Her eyes gleamed cheekily before she walked forward and looped her arms around Ernest's neck. "Do you still want to do it?"

Ernest paused, and his eyes flashed with lust. A small smile appeared on his lips. "Aren't you tired?"

"But you're not." Leah felt that she should give it her all since she was here. She'd sleep when she was really tired.

Ernest put his arm around her waist and smiled, "I'm not tired, I'm just worried that I'll hurt you." "It doesn't matter. The butler said that we're going to be alone for the rest of the night, so we can do whatever we want." Leah's eyes sparkled with mirth.

The corners of Ernest's mouth curled up in a smile, and his breathing quickened. "Then, don't mind if I do."

After that, he carried her to the bed. When her body sank into the soft blankets, Leah did not let go of Ernest.

The both of them embraced, and they had a splendid night together.

Leah was on cloud nine after their sessions.

Although she was exhausted, she felt incredibly happy.

After they finished, they did not sleep although they were very tired. Ernest held her and asked, "Why didn't you give me a hint before you came to London?"

Leah stiffened before she smiled and said, "I miss you, so that's why."

Leah was usually a carefree girl, so why did she tense up just now?

Ernest started to wonder.

"Is your father still in the hospital?" Ernest asked tentatively.

Although they had video calls often, Leah had never mentioned her father.

Due to his respect for Leah, he had never investigated the matter as well.

Of course, he was actually very worried about Leah, but he still had to respect her privacy.

He felt that it was disrespectful to pry when Leah hadn't asked him to do anything.

Therefore, Ernest did not investigate the matter.

He just hoped that Leah would tell him the truth when she met with hard times. He would do all he could to help her.

Leah hesitated for a moment and said, "My father has been transferred to the general ward from the ICU. His health is much better than before."

Ernest was surprised and asked, "Really? Is he really much better now?"

"Of course, why would I lie?" Leah burst into laughter. "Would I ever make jokes about my father's health?"

"Sorry. It's not that I don't believe you, it's just that I'm afraid you won't tell me if you run into trouble." Ernest replied.

Leah said, "Well, I can handle it. If I can't, I'll let you know."

She didn't say that nothing was wrong, only that she was able to handle it.

Ernest found the answer to his question from Leah's words.

She had run into some trouble, but she felt that she could solve it on her own. Perhaps it was already solved.

For some reason, Ernest's heart ached for this usually free-spirited girl.

"Did Hogan ever come to see you after I left Northern City?" Ernest asked.

Leah paused for a moment before nodding. "Yeah."

Ernest frowned. "Really? He still came around to bother you?"

"There are some people who just won't change. If they feel like everything's under their control, they'll be extremely dissatisfied if something doesn't go their way. I guess Hogan's like that." Leah's tone was nonchalant.

However, Ernest could still hear the exasperation in her tone.

"How did you settle this?" Ernest had to ask as he was so worried.

"I called my sister for help. Once Rowane arrived, Hogan was occupied and I was left alone," Leah replied.

Ernest frowned and felt annoyed. "Seems like

Hogan is a very persistent person." "That's why I'm here," Leah said before she quickly backtracked. "I told them I was coming to London in advance. I wanted some peace and quiet, and to spend time with you. Maybe I'll feel better that way."

Ernest's eyes narrowed before he reached out to hold Leah's chin. Then, he looked into her eyes. "Are you tired of him harassing you? Does he come to your apartment every day?"
