True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1749
Maria immediately answered obediently, 'TH sleep. I'll go to sleep, okay?"
Liam laughed. He smiled gently. He looked so handsome. He was so good looking that she couldn't take her eyes off him. Her eyes were completely fixed on him.
However, he didn't let her go. Instead, he held her in his arms without giving her a chance to escape.
When Maria saw him like that, she looked up and met his eyes.
Emotions filled his eyes. His gaze was so hot that it looked like it could burn someone.
She was embarrassed and tried her best to calm herself down. "You go ahead. I'll go to sleep first, okay?"
"Sure." He finally let her go. He didn't continue to kiss her. He was afraid that he wouldn't be able to control himself and do what he wanted to her.
"By the way, sleep for a while if you get tired. You did not get any sleep at all last night." She thought of the date they had the night before. They had gotten so excited and had stayed in a hotel. He hadn't had any time to rest. They had gone crazy the whole night.
Liam laughed. His smile was filled with pride and happiness. However, his smile turned evil. "Maria, is this an invitation? Do you want me to continue bothering you?"
Maria was very annoyed and she denied it at once. "That's not what I meant."
Liam couldn't help but pull her into his arms again. He lowered his head and leaned closer to her lips. He whispered, "Why don't I continue reading after we finish doing it?" Maria suddenly lost her voice. Her eyes widened as she stared at Liam.
She was completely immersed and captivated by his charm.
Her mind was in a mess. It was like she couldn't think of anything else.
She nodded.
Liam's deep voice rang in her ears. It was very charming and pleasant to listen to. "Be my guest."
Maria was stunned. When she realized what was going on, his lips were already on hers.
She was in a complete state of exhilaration.
She was dizzy and had no idea what was going on at all.
After an hour.
As Liam looked at the girl who was asleep in his arms, he lowered his head and kissed her forehead. Then he got up and went to read his script.
He didn't make any loud noises at all. He was afraid that he would disturb Maria and affect her sleep.
The adapted screenplay was done very well.
Liam read attentively. He did not skip any scenes at all. He read through everything even if it weren't his scenes.
It was only after reading through the whole plot and understanding the story could he understand the relationship between the characters. It was only if he understood the whole story could he perform every scene thoroughly and accurately.
By the time Maria woke up, a few hours had already passed.
She could tell that the sky had already turned dark.
It was Christmas.
That meant it was a holiday. There was no need to go to school.
Therefore, she was very free.
When she opened her eyes, she saw Liam sitting at the end of the bed and reading the script. He had changed his clothes and was wearing white casual clothes. He looked relaxed and cozy. The air seemed to be filled with the smell of coffee. It was very fragrant.
That's right.
It seemed she had smelled coffee in her dreams. That was what woke her up.
It turned out that he was drinking coffee. It seemed that he was tired. Was he reading the script all this time?
Maria looked at her watch and then at Liam. It looked like she had slept for four and a half hours.
He realized that she had woken up. He looked back at her. His dark eyes seemed to contain a kind of attractive power.
"Come here," Maria whispered.
Her voice was hoarse. He immediately got up and poured her a glass of warm water. "Drink some water."
Maria sat up and drank the warm water. When she looked at Liam again, there was compassion in her eyes. "Did you sleep at all last night?"
"I'm not sleepy," Liam answered.
Maria knew that he was going to say that. She handed him the cup and said, "If you're not sleepy, then why are you drinking coffee?"
Liam was caught off guard. He placed the cup on the table, turned to Maria and said with a smile, "I suddenly missed the taste of coffee."
She knew that he would say something like that. She pouted and said, "Come here and sleep with me for a while."
Liam suddenly fell quiet.
Maria was not in a hurry. She looked at his stunned expression and said with a smile, "Don't say no. I still want to sleep. Come on, sleep with me." "Maria." Liam felt a little helpless as he looked at Maria. He found it amusing and helpless at the same time.
He knew that Maria was actually very concerned about him. She was afraid that he would have no energy because of how little sleep he had. Liam hesitated for a while. "Okay, I will rest with you."
Liam had only taken a sip of his hot coffee. He hadn't drank it yet because it was too hot. He put the coffee back and went to Maria to lie down with her.
Maria burrowed herself in Liam's embrace and gently grabbed his clothes. She closed her eyes and was ready to go back to sleep.
Liam looked down at Maria. Her eyes were closed. Was she really going to go back to sleep?
Even though her eyes were closed, it seemed that Maria had eyes on her forehead. "Sleep. Let's not waste time."
Liam was stunned. He looked at the top of her head and smiled helplessly.
Maria opened her eyes and looked up at him. When she saw his bloodshot eyes, she said, "You should take care of your eyes too. Your eyes are so red. You have to remember that you are an actor and you depend on your appearance and acting to make a living. If you don't cherish your eyes, you will soon lose your charm."
Liam was stunned again. He smiled and said, "You really hit the nail on the head. I admit that I have nothing to say." "Since you can't, then quickly close your eyes and sleep." Maria became serious. "Hurry up."
Liam looked at the serious girl in his arms. He nodded and closed his eyes.
Maria heaved a sigh of relief.
She knew that sometimes this man could be a little too hard on himself.
In the future, she wouldn't just be his lover. She would also be his agent.
She also completely understood that Liam needed his own career. Otherwise, their relationship wouldn't be able to last.
To a man, his career was the most important.
If a man could not enjoy the glory that his career brought, then he would encounter a lot of restrictions when it came to love.
She didn't want there to be a day like that, so she urged him to work hard.
A good couple would help each other achieve great things.
Perhaps he was really tired. He had many late nights. Liam fell asleep within minutes.
She gazed at his handsome face. His dark circles were getting worse. She could tell that he was very tired.
She sighed. She couldn't let Liam go on like this. Even if they broke up, he had to continue taking care of himself.
They still had a long future ahead of them.
After Liam fell asleep, Maria quietly got up. She wanted to read his script. She needed to understand it so that she could compare it to the original.
She took the script, tiptoed out of the room, and went downstairs.
After looking at it for a while, Leah came downstairs. She was surprised to see Maria downstairs. "Hey, why are you here alone? What are you looking at?"
Maria looked up at her and said, "What about you? Why did you come down alone? Where's Ernest?"
"He just fell asleep." Leah looked up and said, "He didn't sleep at all. I've rested well. But Ernest secretly helped me with my thesis after I fell asleep. I just forced him to go to sleep."
Maria was surprised. She covered her mouth and laughed. "It looks like we're both the same. Liam was also reading his script. He wouldn't rest at all. He was really tired, and I forced him to sleep too." Leah sat down beside her and looked at the script in her hands. "Is that my script?"
"Yes, there are two versions. Have a look at it and let me know what you think after you're finished." Maria gave her a script. "Let's read the first few scenes first and then give me your suggestions. It'll be better that way."
Leah took it from her and looked at it. "Okay, let's read it together. I want to see what the script looks like. Next time I'll just write a script so you don't have to adapt it. I'll write one and give it to you." "That's great. I'll be waiting. Hurry up and write more books for me in the future. I will adapt it for you," Maria told her excitedly.
Leah rolled her eyes. "This is a really good idea. After your contract with the website ends, I don't have to work so hard to adapt to it anymore. I can write a script every year and give it to you immediately. Once the movie is out, I will put my novel on the Internet. That way, I can make more money."
"You're so business-minded. It's a great plan. A lot of people do this. When they are popular enough, they will start writing screenplays. They would have a lot more freedom without the pressure of adapting." Maria fully approved of Leah's idea.
Leah was also excited. "Then help me make Liam and I famous."
"Does that mean I will have two artists? You and Liam?" Maria couldn't help but laugh.
Leah nodded. "That's right. Help the two of us to become famous. In the future, we will become powerful actors, singers, authors and lawyers. I'm not only a writer in your company, but also your lawyer."
"Of course. When you become a lawyer, you'll have to serve our company. You'll also become my cousin-in-law in the future. After my company has been established, you will have some shares. Don't worry, let's start a business together." Maria never had much desire for money.
