Leah didn't say anything. The atmosphere was so oppressive that it was suffocating.

Ernest walked a few steps with her. He felt depressed too. He wanted to say something, but Leah turned away and walked in another direction.

The words that Ernest wanted to say were stuck in his throat. He couldn't say anything at all.

No matter how slow Ernest was, he could feel that something was wrong with Leah. The atmosphere had changed completely since she asked him about Celeste.

He looked at her slender back with complicated emotions in his eyes.

He wanted to explain himself, but he suppressed it and showed no emotion.

After walking for a little while in the garden, Leah started kicking and stretching.

She was really doing exercise. Ernest frowned. "Aren't you tired? Why are you exercising?"

"Oh, I am tired, but exercising helps us live longer. We should exercise since young. That's how we

can stay healthy."

Leah answered formally. She didn't express too much emotion and explained it in a straightforward way. Ernest felt that she was saying it on purpose for him to hear. He shouldn't give in to his sexual impulses.

She seemed to be rejecting him, and it made him feel a little annoyed.

Leah was still stretching. She stretched her spine, her back and her limbs.

Ernest walked over and pulled her arm. "Since you want to exercise, let's go back to our room and do some exercise."

Leah swatted his hands away.

Ernest was stunned.

They froze for a little while. Suddenly, Leah smiled. "Ernest, I came to London because I missed you. However, if I spent all of my time with you in bed, I think that this trip is completely meaningless." "Are you telling me the truth?" Ernest asked in a low voice. "Is it because I wanted too much from you? Are you sure it's not because of other reasons?"

Leah was stunned by his question. He

understood.

That's right. What she cared about was his attitude.

She smiled faintly and asked, "What do you mean by other reasons?"

"It looks like there are other reasons." Ernest fixed his gaze on her.

The lights weren't that bright, but Ernest could tell that her smile wasn't sincere.

"If we only want to meet our physical needs, then there is no need to go through so much trouble. I think the same can be said for you. If I'm only a tool for you to solve your needs, then you can look for any other woman, and I can also look for another man."

Ernest frowned at once.

What on earth was she talking about?

Leah felt that she had already made it very obvious. She was here to relieve the pain of missing him. That was why she came.

However, if the two of them didn't communicate but only a physical relationship, she would feel burdened.

"What do you want to talk to me about? Are you telling me that you don't want to go to bed with me anymore?" Ernest asked in a low voice. He sounded displeased. "Or do you think that I'm a casual man, and you're a casual woman?"

"I know best what kind of person I am, but I'm not sure what kind of person you are. You might not even know it yourself," Leah spoke again.

Ernest took a deep breath. He wanted to retort, but he held himself back.

Ernest took a deep breath and stared at Leah. "I'm not a casual man."

He had chosen Leah. He wanted her to be his partner for a lifetime. That was why he was angry. He was angry that she was questioning him about his relationship with Celeste.

He wasn't willing to explain too much. He thought that Leah would understand him.

However, he didn't know that women were very sensitive to these things.

There were lots of times where a woman only cared about whether a man still had someone else in his heart.

A woman didn't want to be by a man's side, but have no access to his heart.

"Ernest, did you know? I thought you were always a gentle and shy man. I always thought that that was the real you. However, it seems like I've been mistaken. You're not the Ernest I imagined you to be. Or maybe, I am not the girl you thought I was too."

She sighed and turned towards Ernest. "I'm not in a good mood. I want to be alone for a while, otherwise, I will start to despise myself."

Ernest was stunned. He frowned and looked at the girl in front of him.

Leah walked past him.

Ernest grabbed her and pulled her into his arms.

Leah didn't struggle. She breathed in his scent. It was familiar, unique, and fresh. However, Leah felt a slight sourness in her heart. She hesitated and said affectionately, "Give me some space." Ernest's handsome face was filled with worry.

He fell silent.

He knew that he wouldn't be able to sleep if he let go of her.

To Leah, his silence was a sign of rejection.

She immediately struggled. "I just want to be alone for a while. I don't want to become a pretentious girl. I know that I'm very hypocritical now. I admit that I'm jealous. I'm jealous of Celeste. I admit that I was very upset when you said that you liked her, so I want to be alone for a while. I will sleep in the guest room tonight. Please respect my decision." "Leah, I won't allow you to do that," Ernest said.

There was a sense of surprise in his low and deep voice. She actually said that she was jealous.

Ernest felt a little surprised.

She bit her lip and pushed him away.

"Ernest, why won't you let me do that?" Leah stood one meter away from him and looked up at him. Stubbornness filled her eyes.

She smiled. Her smile was filled with determination.

"Leah, that's in the past. I didn't think that you would care about it so much," Ernest tried to explain.

"You don't know what I care about at all," Leah laughed. "Let's calm down tonight and not disturb each other."

She walked away and went to look for the butler.

Ernest watched her leave in a daze. He clenched his fists in annoyance.

Leah found the butler. "Mr. Butler, please prepare a guest room for me."

The butler was stunned and asked, "Miss Leah, what's wrong? Why do you suddenly want to stay in another guest room? Nothing happened between you and Master Ernest, right? I don't think you two should be separated. Once you stay in different rooms, your relationship will fade away."

Leah admired how gossipy the butler was.

Of course, she also understood that the butler was doing this out of kindness. Leah naturally had her own way of dealing with it.

She smiled at the butler and said, "I want a guest room so that I can write a script. It's not meant for staying. The guest room is quieter, don't you think so?" "Oh, I see." The housekeeper suddenly came to a realization. "Well, okay, I will prepare a separate room for you to write your script."

"Thank you. I will finish it as soon as possible." Leah smiled and nodded.

Ten minutes later, the butler finished preparing a guest room on the third floor. Leah moved her luggage into the guest room.

Ernest saw the butler when he went upstairs.

The butler didn't know that they had a quarrel at all. He smiled and said, "Master Ernest, your girlfriend is a writer. How superb. She said that she needed a quiet space to write her script, so I opened up a room for her, it's right next to yours."

Ernest glanced at the butler. His gaze was extremely sharp. The butler thought that it was very strange.

He was stunned and asked in confusion, "Master Ernest, did I do something wrong?" "You didn't do anything wrong. I was the one who was wrong," Ernest's expression was cold. He said in a low voice, "You did great. You are the best."

The butler felt that he was being very sarcastic. He felt guilty and felt that something was wrong. "Master Ernest, did you two have an argument?"
