"Mr. Butler, how could we possibly have gotten into a fight? Can't you wish the best for us?" Leah's voice came from the corridor. She was standing at the door of the guest room next door and smiling at the two of them. "We're doing well. I'm just going to write a script. Alright, go and do your work."

The butler could tell that something was wrong, but he nodded. "Okay, it's good that you both aren't fighting. I'll leave first. Let me know if you need anything."

"Alright, will do." Leah smiled as she answered.

After the butler left, Leah smiled and said to Ernest, "Ernest, sleep on your own tonight. Sleep earlier. Don't think too much, okay?"

After a moment of silence, Ernest stared at Leah. His eyes were deep and cold.

Was she so happy that she didn't have to sleep with him?

She was so happy that she did not forget to let him know.

Ernest nodded and said, "Don't worry. I won't think too much. You shouldn't think too much too. Go to bed earlier. Good night."

He pushed open his room door and walked in.

Leah watched him enter his room without hesitation. Her smile slowly turned bitter.

She returned to the guest room and quickly climbed onto the bed and got ready to sleep.

That night, Leah fell asleep fast.

She woke up the next morning and went downstairs. Maria and Liam were already downstairs. The two of them were enthusiastic when they saw her coming down. "Leah, come and sit down. Let's study the characters." Maria pulled Leah to sit beside her.

Leah nodded. "Sure. I don't have anything else to do."

"Nothing to do?" Maria couldn't help but sneak another glance at her. She asked curiously, "By the way, why did you get up so early? Where is Ernest?"

"Probably still sleeping." Leah shrugged. She acted normally.

Maria nodded. "Let him sleep a little longer. We'll study the roles first."

Leah was telling them about the characters that she had set up. She told them about their setting, their background and the changes in their personality. The three of them talked enthusiastically.

Ernest was standing by the stairs at the same moment. He looked down at Leah who was talking to Maria and Liam happily.

Leah turned around quickly as if she sensed something. She locked eyes with Ernest.

When their eyes met, the two of them froze.

Leah smiled without greeting him.

The lights on the stairs were still on, and the lights shone on Ernest's slender body. His handsome face was cold. There was a trace of coldness in his expression. Liam and Maria looked up and saw Ernest. They greeted him.

"Good morning, Ernest." Maria continued to read the script.

Liam greeted him too. "Good morning, Ernest."

"Good morning." Ernest nodded. "Why are you up so early?"

"We have something to do today," Maria said, "It is rare for Leah to be here in London. We need her to explain the roles to us and go through our questions." Ernest nodded. "You guys go ahead. I'm going to

workout."

He walked outside.

He didn't greet Leah at all. He didn't even look at her.

Leah was stunned. She smiled and looked down at the script without saying anything.

Maria probably noticed something was wrong. She glanced at Leah sideways. She looked a little down.

She frowned and asked, "Leah, what's going on? Did something happen between you and Ernest? Why didn't he talk to you at all?"

Leah stiffened and lowered her eyes. She didn't want to say anything.

Maria was so blunt. Liam tugged at her clothes.

It was only then that Maria came to her senses. She glanced at Liam, then she saw Leah playing with her lips. She felt tense and a little embarrassed. Maria also felt that she had gone too far. She was too blunt. She hadn't even given Leah any time. Besides, Liam was still beside her.

Leah did not explain and ignored the question.

However, it was the silence that made both Liam and Maria feel that something was wrong between Leah and Ernest.

They looked at Leah worriedly. After Liam asked a few more questions about his role, he glanced at Maria and signaled for her to ask Leah about what had happened.

He felt that his presence would affect their conversation. Liam stood up and told them, "You two can go ahead and chat. I'll go out and make a phone call to the director, and then I'll go for a workout." "Okay, go ahead. Leah and I will continue our discussion." Maria made an OK gesture to Liam and indicated it was okay for him to relax.

Besides, if Liam went to workout, he could also ask Ernest about what had happened.

Liam nodded and left.

Maria and Leah were the only ones left in the living room.

Leah was smart. She naturally understood Liam's intentions. She looked at Maria and said directly, "Just ask whatever you want to ask. Do you two really need to make a cage to trap me in?" "That's not the reason. I'm just afraid that you will feel embarrassed. I asked you a question, but you didn't explain. Why is the atmosphere between you two weird?" Maria asked.

"I stayed in the guest room last night. I didn't sleep with Ernest. If you want to know, I can tell you the truth."

"What? You two slept separately?" Maria was stunned. "Weren't you guys getting along well? Don't tell me that something is wrong in that area?"

"What? There's nothing wrong with our bodies. He still has desires, but I was in a bad mood." Leah was very calm. "I don't deny the fact that I want to sleep with him, but I just feel too aggrieved." "Why do you feel that way?" Maria was puzzled. "Can you explain it?"

Leah didn't hide anything from Maria. She frowned and said, "I asked him how he felt about Celeste, and he seemed to have gotten angry immediately. Then he said that he really liked Celeste. From the looks of it, it seems that he still likes her."

"After that, I got angry too. You know what kind of person I am. Anyway, I didn't hide my anger and admitted to being jealous."

"I even told him that I was jealous, but he didn't explain it clearly. So I had some doubts about whether we were only filling each other's voids or if we really liked each other."

"His attitude made me doubt our love, so I chose to stay in a guest room and be temporarily separated from him." "I wanted to think about this all night, but I was too sleepy and didn't end up thinking of anything. I fell asleep, and here I am now."

She was very direct and frank, and it made Maria gasp.

"Oh my God, you actually asked him about Celeste. Leah, I think you were too straightforward. To be honest, Ernest has never gone too far. Instead, Liam openly had a crush on Celeste before." "But I never dared to ask him about that matter, because I know that I will be the one who will get hurt after asking too many questions. I didn't want to humiliate myself, so I just liked him blindly." "Then tell me, do you think the past is really in the past? Will Celeste become the regret in their hearts? They will even feel sad when they think about it." Leah's heart was torn as she looked at Celeste. "I don't know. I'm not a man, but I don't think they would do that. Anyway, they can't beat Gary. If they're distressed, then they will feel sorry for themselves. But that's them, we don't have to feel sorry forthem. Even if they liked Celeste, it doesn't affect us sleeping with them since we've already slept with them. Why would you think so much?"

Leah rolled her eyes at Maria. "You're really heartless. I want to be like that too, but I can't."

"Then what do you want to do?" Maria was confused.

"I don't know," Leah frowned slightly and she seemed to be even more distressed. "I just feel that if he likes someone else but if he is still so close to him, that would be irritating and upsetting."

"If you don't sleep with him, are you punishing him or yourself?" Maria looked at Leah and said, "You have to think it through. You came such a long distance, all the way to London. Didn't you come here to sleep with him?"

"Wrong. I may have come to sleep with him, but I wanted to be the dominant one, not the other way around."

"It makes no difference. Don't think about it," Maria reminded her. "Anyway, I think we should be more careful."
