True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1806
"Let's take a rest today," Leah instantly said. "I'm starved. What time is it?"
"Eight thirty." Ernest accurately reported the time.
Leah exclaimed, "Is it so late already?"
"If we sleep late, we will naturally wake up late too." Ernest didn't think it was considered late for two lovebirds to rise at 8.30 in the morning.
Leah wanted to rebut, but she was speechless because she felt that Ernest was right.
It must have been midnight when they fell asleep the previous night. As a matter of fact, they didn't sleep for a long time.
After all, they made love until so late the previous night.
Leah still wanted to turn around to face Ernest and look into his eyes while speaking. She would do so rather than be threatened by him without even seeing his face.
However, her slender waist had been tightly held by the man's hand, and she could not move at all.
She found that the more she wanted to move, the greater the threat felt.
She could only sigh. "Then, hurry up and let go of me. How can I go to the toilet when you're hugging me like this?"
Ernest grinned and asked, "Do you want to go to the toilet?"
Discerning the note of intimation in his voice, Leah couldn't help but riposte, "I've just woken up in the morning, of course I want to go to the toilet. Don't you want to go to the toilet?"
"What a coincidence! I just wanted to say that I too want to go to the toilet. As I said, we have great chemistry," said Ernest, with a smile. His tone was low, magnetic and husky.
Chuckled, Leah was completely unable to agree with him. She retorted directly, "It seems that the first thing everyone will want to do when they wake up in the morning is to go to the toilet. According to your theory, won't everyone in the world have chemistry with each other?"
"It has nothing to do with everyone in the world. I only have chemistry with you. With regard to your statement that everyone has the habit of going to toilet in the morning, it's just an instinct." Ernest beamed and continued saying, "As for us, it can only be chemistry."
Leah was dazed, feeling that his words were irrefutable sometimes. So, she grinned and said,
"Fine, I have this kind of instinct now. Please let go of me. I'm going to the toilet."
Ernest nodded and replied, "It just so happens that I want to go too. Let's go together."
Leah was reeling in shock in an instant. She turned her head, only to face his handsome face. She could not believe that such words had come out from his mouth.
How could such a dashing and cultured man say something like going to the toilet with a woman?
It was as if it wasn't right for him to say that. He was so wonderful and debonair, as though the materialistic world didn't deserve him. How could he say something like that? Wasn't it too down-to-earth?
Noticing that she was looking at him, Ernest cracked a smile and asked, "Why are you looking at me like that? Didn't you say you're going to solve your instinctive problem? Let's go." He pretended like he was about to get up.
Leah shook her head instantly and said, "Then, you can go first. I'll wait until you've finished."
Anyway, she just didn't want to go to the toilet together.
Ernest leaned over and whispered in her ear, "Can't we go together? You'll get used to this kind of thing eventually."
Leah shook her head again and denied it. "I won't get used to it even in the future."
She couldn't imagine going to the toilet with a man.
Thus, making a habit of it was out of the question.
She probably wouldn't do such a thing for the rest of her life. What was more, she wanted to do a number two that morning.
When Leah thought of that, she couldn't help but to shake her head and furrow her brows.
She would definitely not go to the toilet together with him. It would be a terrible sight.
She couldn't bring herself to accept it at all.
However, Ernest beamed at her and said, "I don't mind if you watch me urinating. Why are you so shy?"
Leah blinked her eyes and asked, "If you just want me to watch you urinating, I don't mind, but if you want to watch me urinating in return, I'm sorry but I can't do that."
Ernest smiled, saying. "You have to get accustomed to it sooner or later. Actually, as a loving couple, such things will take place anyway in the future." "Then, well take it easy. I can't accept it now." "Well, do you still want to watch me pee?" asked Ernest.
Leah hesitated before she shook her head and answered, "Forget it, I don't want to watch."
In fact, she was afraid that he would replace it unfair and insist on going to the toilet together.
"Let's go. I don't mind being watched by you." Ernest invited again.
Leah still shook her head. "No, I'm not going with you. Don't watch me when I go the toilet later, and I won't watch you either. This is fair."
Only then did Ernest say, "Fine, I'll go first then."
He gave her a kiss before he went to the toilet.
Out of sheer boredom, Leah turned on the phone.
This new phone was very useful, and she had already cloned all the files from her old phone into it, including the contact list.
As soon as she turned it on, there were several notifications regarding text messages and missed calls popping up. All of them were from the editor, Victoria. She had called her multiple times after she turned off her phone the night before.
Fortunately, she had turned off the phone, or they would not have been able to get anything done the previous night.
She called Victoria back then.
A confused voice could be heard over the phone. "Hello, Reaper? Why are you awake so early?"
"I'm sorry that I hung up your call yesterday," Leah said apologetically.
"It's okay. I'm aware that your sexual hormones had taken charge of you then. That was why you had no time to care about me. I understand."
"I'm sorry," Leah apologized guiltily. "How is it going? Have you managed to contact the sequel writer?"
"He updated it at three o'clock this morning. He also left me a message, saying that he has been very busy lately, and that he may update the novel less frequently, but he won't stop writing it."
Perhaps it was because the sequel writer had gotten in touch with Victoria and promised her to continue writing, Victoria spoke with a noticeably gentler and softer tone.
Leah also heaved a sigh of relief. "It's great as long as he is still writing."
"He just left me the one sentence message, saying that he will continue writing. It's like he is my boss, and I've to implore him to write this novel. I've never seen such an absurd author." Victoria could not help but to grumble to Leah about the sequel writer.
Leah replied, "He doesn't do it for money, but solely based on his passion. In this case, it'd be uneasy to impose too many rules."
"Look who's talking. Reaper, you're the one who caused all these. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have to compromise with this sequel writer. It made my blood boil. If it hadn't been for the intriguing story, I would have castrated him."
"Don't be so violent. It's all my fault." Leah laughed again. "I'll go and read the latest content first. I think it's quite well written recently."
"Go and read it. I feel that his current writing style seems to be filled with a sense of manly indolence after a moment of sexual dissipation, and there is even a scent of testosterone between the lines in his novel."
Leah clicked her tongue in amazement. "Can you even perceive that? That's incredible!"
Unexpectedly, Victoria guffawed proudly. "Of course. Who am I? I've been reading novels for so many years that I've become capable of discerning who has secreted the hormones." Leah was feeling guilty.
"By the way, you've been in a joyful mood recently. Two days ago, you sounded like you were bereaved, but last night and this morning, you're different. There's also a sense of indolence after hormone secretion in you."
"Ahem." Leah was almost choked to death by her own saliva. "You've impressed me. How can you tell it so accurately?"
She didn't know whether the sequel writer had secreted any hormones or not.
However, at the moment, she indeed had.
She didn't feel embarrassed to admit it.
"Forget it. I won't keep you any longer. I'm getting to my sleep. Now that I'm old, I always feel sleepy." With that, Victoria hung up.
Leah turned on her phone, and logged in to the website to read the latest chapters of the novel. As she read them, she was enraptured by the content.
Victoria was right.
She seemed to have smelled a scent of hormones from the lines.
It was really odd. The writer wrote it in a salacious manner.
Leah covered her lips and began tittering.
Meanwhile, Ernest came back and saw her tittering. He could not help but to ask, "What are you snickering about?"
"I'm telling you, my editor is so amusing. Didn't my book have a bad ending? A new author has been helping me to write the sequel. My editor told me that the content written by this author last night was full of the scent of hormones. I've read it and also found it very smutty."
The corner of Ernest's mouth twitched. He couldn't help inquiring, "Hormones? Smutty? What the hell are these words? It's just the content of a novel. Why are you women describing it like that these ways? I've got to give it to you."
