True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1847
"Might as well call Essie and have her come. Everyone's home today, and it's so lively." Leah suggested.
Ernest shook his head and said, "No, it's easy to mess it up with so many people around today. We'd better wait for the right time."
Leah replied, "However, I think it's easier for her to shine in this sort of situation. Furthermore, Essie is tough. She knows us, and we can say that she is not be here to see Mr. Yarbrough, but to see us. She can be here as our guest."
Ernest lowered his head as he looked at Leah and said, "Aren't you afraid that uncle will do something? He's a very eligible bachelor who could be smart as a tack."
Leah blinked, but there was no fear in her eyes. Instead, there was a flash of impulsiveness in her eyes.
Ernest's mind was overwhelmed by the rich and gorgeous color of her eyes.
He felt that Leah must have something big planned.
As expected, Leah said, "Of course I'm not afraid. Aren't I your girlfriend? Your uncle is our elder, and he won't be able to bring himself to do anything to me. Plus, he's a smart man. He won't touch me." Leah did not care whether or not Ernest agreed with her actions. She took out her phone and called Essie right away.
The call was sure enough connected right away too.
Essie's voice came from the other end of the phone. "Hey, Leah. How are you?"
One could tell that Essie was a bright girl just from the tone of her voice on the phone.
Leah couldn't help but to laugh. "Aunt Essie, do you want to come to the Jones family's home? Mr. Yarbrough is here now, so hurry up."
"Are you talking about Zayne?" Essie immediately exclaimed.
Leah nodded immediately. "Yup, I'm talking about Mr. Zayne Yarbrough."
"Of course I'll come. Send me the address, I'll get a cab and be there right away." Essie sounded excited, and she walked quickly. However, she seemed to have bumped into something.
Leah reminded her in concern, "Take care, Aunt Essie. No rush. Mr. Yarbrough will be having lunch here, so you'll have time."
"I'm fine. I'm not in a hurry anyway, I have the rest of my life for him." Essie chuckled over the phone. "All right, Leah. Hurry and send me the address. I'm already downstairs, and I'll call a cab right away." "Okay, be careful, Aunt Essie." Leah quickly hung up and sent her location to Essie.
Ernest sighed lovingly as he saw Leah acting so quickly.
"Look at how the both of you address one another. You call Essie your aunt. Don't you think it'll be funny if someone hears you?" Ernest teased.
"What does it have to do with anyone else? Aunt Essie and I think it's great to call each other like this." Leah did not replace it odd at all.
It was interesting, actually.
"However, you haven't addressed my uncle as such." Ernest reminded.
Leah paused before she said, "I'll wait till he marries Aunt Essie."
Ernest burst into laughter. "I never expected that my great Uncle Zayne would be urged to marry by someone younger than him."
"Then he should feel honored that I care about his marriage so much. It's obvious that it's become a family problem. After all, your uncle's old now, but he still refuses to marry and settle down. What
would his even older father feel?"
Ernest shrugged his shoulders. "Silly girl, you'd piss my uncle off if you dare to say that in front of him."
Leah immediately smirked and said, "I'm not going to say that in front of him. Why would I? I'm only saying it to you."
"Are you scared?" Ernest asked with a smile.
Leah shook her head. "I'm not afraid. Adults have their own prides, and after all, I did ask Essie to come on my own this time. I want to create an opportunity for her, and I also want to catalyze the situation. Perhaps it would grease the wheels a bit?"
Ernest nodded. He felt that his uncle had changed, actually.
It was hard to say if what they were planning would actually succeed.
"Also, I'm moved by how bold Essie is. Don't you think she's really brave?"
Ernest looked at Leah deeply before he took Leah in his strong and firm arms again.
She was snuggled in his embrace again.
Leah was about to go crazy. Why did he have to hug her again? Didn't he know that she would instantly go limp in his arms?
Leah felt like she was going to lose her mind. She didn't care anymore, and she wanted to make out with him right then and there.
The sudden impulse made her want to implode.
However, the remnants of her rationality told Leah that she could not do that.
"Let go of me, Ernest. We have to have dinner soon. I think Aunt Smith is almost done."
Downstairs, Grace and Zayne were about to head into the house.
However, Ernest reached out and grabbed Leah's chin. He lowered his gaze, smiled at her and said, "You're so bold as to mess with my uncle, but you're not brave enough to sleep with me here? You're always so daring when it comes to others, but so cautious when it comes to yourself."
Leah felt guilt washing through her as he said that. She averted her gaze and said, "It's not the same thing. I want to get the both of them together, and I'm doing a good deed being a matchmaker. However, being intimate in your room when it's my first time here is just being inappropriate."
After all, she was a woman. She couldn't be so shameless.
Ernest nodded in agreement. "You're right. My uncle always said you're a very wise young girl. It's
true."
"That's absolutely right." Leah grinned happily at Ernest, and her smile was dazzling. "I'm glad that your uncle thinks so highly of me. Aunt Essie is great too. Honestly, everyone in your family is great." She sincerely felt that everyone in the Jones family was kind-hearted.
Ernest couldn't help but to kiss Leah when he saw her beautiful smile. Their tongues brushed past each other's teasingly as he planted his lips on hers.
Leah felt a storm brewing in her belly, and his hands roamed all over her body without hesitation. She was amazed by how he made her feel.
Leah heard Ernest whisper in her ear. "One time, hm? I'll make it quick."
Leah felt like every cell in her body had come alive.
She immediately shook her head. "No, nope! I still have to go and inform Aunt Smith that Essie is coming."
