True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1956 The Four Children Of The Jones Family, Gary Smith (Part 731)
Leah's smile grew wider. She could tell just how much Ernest cherished her.
Leah was pleased to hear his promise.
Regardless of whether she was pregnant or not, Ernest's words made her feel contented.
She should just take things as they come.
She just kept smiling without saying anything.
Ernest was getting a little anxious as he didn't hear her reply. He lowered his gaze.
He couldn't see her face clearly in the darkness. Hence, he lifted her chin so that their gazes met.
Ernest asked in a gentle voice, "Are you still cold?"
Leah was startled. She looked up at him, although she couldn't see his face clearly, she still wanted to just stare at him.
She was still drowning in the passionate intimacy they shared earlier.
"A little," Leah said.
"Should we head back down then?" Ernest asked.
Leah shook her head and looked up in the sky. "It's too beautiful up here. I want to stay here longer."
Most importantly, no one was there to interrupt them.
"You still want to look at the stars, don't you?" Ernest took her hand. It was a little cold. "I can tell that you're cold. Let's head back now. We can come back here again tomorrow night and watch the stars in my car."
"In the car?" Leah shook her head. "Why do I feel like we won't have the time for stargazing again?"
"Why do you say so?" Ernest was confused.
"How will we have time for stargazing up in the mountains if I'm really pregnant?" Leah asked.
Ernest was startled. This was truly a tricky question.
He hesitated and said, "I'll take you to the hospital tomorrow morning."
Leah was also startled. Her period was late for two days. She should really be taking that into consideration.
"Okay, let's go and replace out tomorrow morning," Leah said.
"Alright." Ernest tightened his grasp around her hand and pulled her into an embrace. "Let's stay here for another half an hour before heading back."
Leah could not help but sigh at the thought of their journey down the mountain.
Ernest asked, "Why are you sighing?"
Leah glared at him. "I'm too exhausted to walk down the mountain."
Something was burning again in Ernest's eyes upon hearing her complaint.
He suddenly lowered his head and kissed Leah on the lips.
Their lips locked.
It didn't take long for them to feel like they hadn't gotten enough of each other. Especially since her lips were soft and sweet.
Ernest felt much more relaxed and he was in high spirits after releasing his pent-up desire.
Leah was lazily snuggled in his arms. They continued looking up at the stars.
The dark night sky was dotted with brilliant, winking stars.
They looked at each other in the dark, hugging and kissing now and then.
Just like that, time passed by in a blur.
After a long time, Leah suddenly remembered something and asked Ernest, "What's your brother up to? He's being too quiet."
Ernest also felt that it had been a long while since he heard something from Gary and Celeste.
Meanwhile, Gary and Celeste had long made their way down from the observation deck.
They were now at some distance away from the observation deck.
They were standing under a huge tree.
Celeste was pinned against the trunk while Gary did everything he wanted with her.
They were at one of Gary's special places.
He had been to this place when he was a child and stumbled upon this tree on his adventure.
This tree had a strange shape. It had a huge trunk, its branches were strong and thick. Its roots were intertwined together, forming a shield from the outside world, giving them a lot of privacy. No one outside could spot them among the intertwined tree roots at all.
It was a secretive spot.
Celeste was pressed against a thick yet clean tree root.
At first, Celeste was reluctant.
However, Gary persuaded her with his sweet words.
At first, she was concerned that someone else might hearthem.
Gary insisted on bringing her to this special place. After studying the surroundings, Celeste had to agree that the place was secluded enough.
And then he had his way with her.
"Mmmm!"
Finally, in the end, Gary let out a low growl and hugged Celeste for a long time, refusing to let go.
It was a different yet fascinating feeling.
Celeste was also in a daze for a while. She looked up at the night sky through the barren branches. Twinkling stars were blinking through the gaps as if laughing at them for being shameless. She felt dizzy and her cheeks were burning.
The cold air around them and the hot breath from Gary intertwined together.
Celeste took a deep breath. Her voice was almost inaudible as she gasped, "Gary, we... we should probably head back now. They... they might be looking for us."
Gary was still holding her as his lips curled into a smile. "It's fine. I'm sure they're having fun like us too."
Celeste was startled to hear that.
She didn't think that Ernest and Leah would engage in this kind of activity in a public area.
However, Gary said, "You don't have to be surprised. I heard some faint noise in the background when I brought you here."
"Really?" Celeste was startled again. She didn't hear anything. "But we've been away for so long."
"Have we?" Gary tidied her outfit for her. "I don't think it's been that long. If it wasn't because I don't want you to catch a cold, I would've made it even longer."
Celeste gasped. "You promised me five minutes, but... but it has been more than half an hour."
She couldn't help but complain. He always had his way of persuading her.
She felt like she could never win with him.
She sometimes felt like that was the only thing she had been doing in this relationship.
He would always have his way.
It would take her a lot of effort to keep up with his pace.
"It's only half an hour." Gary smiled widely at her after tidying up her clothes. "Come on, let's head back."
Celeste nodded. She wanted to hop down from the root but she suddenly realized she was too sore to do so. She couldn't hop down at all.
Seeing her struggles, Gary immediately smiled. "Seems like you have problems getting down."
Celeste nodded unhappily. She complained, "It's all your fault."
"Of course, it is most definitely my fault." Gary leaned forward and swept her in his embrace. He said into her ear, "I've always wanted to do this, tonight was the perfect opportunity." Celeste reached out and pushed him away.
Gary laughed out loud. After which, he lifted Celeste from the root.
"I advise you to save your strength from now on. It felt more like you were tickling me instead of pushing me away," Gary said.
Celeste felt embarrassed.
She was lowered to the ground, yet she felt weak in the knees.
She could barely stand.
Celeste immediately reached out and grabbed Gary's arm. "I don't think I can walk any further."
Gary's heart tightened upon hearing that.
He blamed himself for being too reckless and impulsive. He intended to work out on this trip, yet here he was letting his desire take control instead.
Just then, his phone rang.
The ringing of a phone was shocking in the silent forest.
Celeste grabbed his arm out of fright.
Gary smiled. "It's just my phone."
He showed his screen to her. It was a call from Ernest. "Ernest is calling us."
