Looking at the closed door, Ernest was helpless too as he shrugged. "What else can I say? They have already made their decision. It's not like we can just kick the door open and take them away." Gary raised his eyebrows. "Are you saying that you don't dare to do that?"

Liam laughed. "Gary, I don't think we will have to go to that extent. Let's just give them some time to catch up. They haven't spent time together for a long time, so we don't have to be so petty about it." Ernest stared at the door, not leaving still.

He was still trying to figure out what Leah meant by saying she had confirmed that she wasn't pregnant. How could she be so sure about it?

He didn't want to be kept in the dark. He wanted to ask her so that he could clear his doubts and not be worried about it.

However, the door was closed then. He knew he couldn't go to sleep like that. After hesitating for a while, Ernest knocked on the door again. "Knock knock knock."

There was a knock on the door.

Both Gary and Liam were startled and turned around to look at him.

They could both feel a strange vibe coming from Ernest.

He looked domineering.

Gary looked at him curiously and then at Liam, as if he was waiting for Ernest to stop the ladies' night from happening by opening the door forcefully and to take them back to their rooms.

As a result, Maria was the one who answered the door again. She looked annoyed. "Didn't I tell you all to go back to your rooms? Just go and get some rests. Why are you knocking again?" Ernest looked at her and said in a low voice, "I have something to ask Leah. Get Leah for me."

Leah heard his voice and turned to look at the door. She wanted to get up but she was feeling unwell in her stomach.

She said instead, "I'll text you. Go back to your room first."

"Did you hearthat?" Maria asked.

Ernest was confused. What kind of answer was that?

He frowned and wanted to walk in to get her but Maria slammed the door shut before he could do

that.

The door was closed again.

That time, no matter how he knocked on the door, they refused to answer.

Gary sneered. "How detestable. The door is closed again."

Ernest's phone rang.

It was a text message. He looked down at his phone and saw the text. "My period is here, so don't worry, just go to sleep.

Seeing the message, Ernest instantly breathed a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, her period was there on time.

He didn't have to worry so much anymore. Ernest looked much more relaxed.

He put away his phone in his pocket and looked at the other two. "You two go ahead. I'll head to bed now."

"What's going on?" Gary was confused as he watched him leaving. "Are you giving up on getting her back already?"

"Yes." Ernest headed straight back to his room without even looking back at him.

Gary looked at Liam.

Liam shrugged and said, "I think you should head to bed too. I won't be joining you anyway. I'm heading to bed." Just like that, Liam went back to his room too.

Gary was the only one left standing in front of the door. He felt abandoned, like he was the pettiest guy there.

Gary snorted and texted Celeste on the phone. "Either you come out now, or I'll barge in."

In the room, Maria snatched the phone over as soon as Celeste's phone rang. After she read the message, she smiled sheepishly.

"Gary texted you and even threatened you. How nasty of him!" Maria teased.

Celeste immediately blushed upon hearing what Gary texted him as Maria teased her, despite not even reading the message yet.

She hurriedly took the phone from Maria. She wanted to know what he texted her.

Maria handed the phone to Leah instead.

Leah glanced over and immediately burst into laughter.

"He is really threatening you with this. He's so domineering! I'm curious to know what he is capable of doing if you insist on not going out there." Leah then returned the phone to Celeste. Celeste read the message with her cheeks still burning. She was startled as she looked at the message. She blinked a few times and then she turned off her phone.

Leah and Maria were slightly surprised by her reaction, and then they burst into laughter.

Gary could vaguely hear their laughter from outside as they were quite loud.

He frowned and immediately dialled Celeste's number.

However, a robotic female voice answered the phone instead, informing him that she had turned off her phone.

Gary was dumbfounded. In an instant, he realized Maria and Leah were most likely laughing as Celeste turned off her phone.

Celeste was really getting bolder.

Gary knitted his brows into a knot. He was upset at first, but then he found Celeste's rebellious side to be quite interesting as she was rarely like that, and then he laughed.

In the end, he shook his head as he chuckled, then he returned to his room.

The first thing Ernest did upon returning to his room was to start typing for the new chapters on his laptop.

Since Leah wasn't there, there was no one to disturb him. Ernest had a clear mind as he continued typing away on his laptop in a breeze for the content that would be uploaded the next day as well. Perhaps he was feeling much more relieved after learning that she wasn't pregnant.

After all, neither of them was ready to have a baby. It would have been too early, and they still wanted more time together on their own. They just started their honeymoon period, and he had not had enough of her yet.

Thus, he was happy that Leah's period was there, and that she wasn't pregnant.

At 5 a.m., Ernest updated the new chapters of that day and turned off his laptop. He then went to sleep.

He wondered if the ladies were already sleeping.

Ernest didn't go bother them. He'd just give the ladies more time together, as they actually needed each other.

He washed up and went to sleep.

Gary called Celeste at 5 a.m., but her phone was still turned off.

It seemed that she had made up her mind not to pick up his call that night.

Gary was actually quite glad to see her being like

that.

He found it interesting when she was being slightly rebellious.

He called Celeste again later and her phone was still turned off. Gary then went to bed.

At 8 a.m., the villa was quiet.

The butler had gotten their breakfast ready but none of them were in the dining room. The butler could only wait.

Little did he know that he would be waiting until noon.

The guys were up but the ladies were still in their room.

It was already past 10 a.m. when Ernest woke up.

He had slept for quite a while, yet Leah was still not in his room as he looked at the time.

He did not hurry downstairs, nor did he go and bother Leah.

He knew that he would only be disrupting her sleep if he went looking for her. He would have waken her up from her sleep.

He might as well let Leah get a good sleep and wake up on her own.

After all, she was on her period and she might not be feeling well.

Ernest didn't go downstairs after he woke up. Instead, he continued typing on his laptop for the contents for the next day.

Two hours passed before he knew it, and it turned out that Ernest had written 10,000 words.

He saved it in his draft box, preparing to send the email on time the next day.

He was already two days ahead of his work, and he felt relieved.

Ernest only headed downstairs around noon.

To his surprise, after opening his door, he ran into Gary and Liam in the corridor who had just opened their doors too.

As they all stood in the corridor, none of them suggested to wake the ladies. It seemed like they all wanted them to get more sleep.

They finally headed downstairs together, and the butler was excited to see them.

"Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something?" The butler asked.

Looking at the butler's attentive expression, Gary calmly said, "Of course we do. We are humans after all. Prepare something nice now. The ladies will be awake anytime, and they will surely be hungry when they're down later too." "Sure, sure, we are preparing your lunch already.

You can start digging in whenever you want to," the butler said. He was afraid that they needed to wait, so everything was already prepared long ao.

He wouldn't want to lose his job. It was quiet in the villa at most times with the owners all worked in the city. The butler would of course try his best to serve them since it was rare for them to visit the villa. "Then, bring us some food first," Gary said. He was getting hungry too. He then glanced at Liam and Ernest.

Both of them nodded too.

The butler immediately went to get their food.

They sat around the dining table, and the ladies were finally walking down the stairs at that moment.

They were still talking and laughing. The guys couldn't understand how they could have so much to talk about at all.
