True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1989
Their kiss intensified, and so did Gary's enthusiasm.
His fingers touched her long, thick hair. Her soft and smooth hair wrapped around his fingers, just like it wrapped around his heart.
How was he supposed to leave Celeste?
However, what was he supposed to do if he did not give her up?
When he thought of that d*mned woman, Janice, Gary's enthusiasm which was there initially stopped for a moment. His body stiffened once again. How could he betray Celeste?
She was such a great, pure, and gentle girl. Wouldn't he just be hurting Celeste for doing what he did?
No!
That wouldn't do.
His rationality was protesting immensely, telling himself that he could not treat her like that.
"Oh!"
Gary immediately released Celeste as he panted heavily.
Celeste was stunned, and she raised her head to meet Gary's eyes.
At that moment, the lights in her heart died out completely as well.
She only knew that right then, she felt greatly upset.
She knew that something must have happened, and that was why Gary rejected her.
He was obviously so into it physically, but his rationality and reasoning was rejecting her, and that realization made Celeste feel greatly uncomfortable.
She lowered her eyes a little bit. Her eyes were dim, and it looked like her soul was taken away from her.
The moment she lowered her head, Gary looked at her. All at once, his heart ached as if it was being torn apart, and he felt as if he was suffocating.
She could not bear it at all.
Gary hugged Celeste again. He lowered his head and pressed his forehead against hers. He caressed her back gently with his long fingers. "Celeste," Gary muttered.
She raised her eyes slightly, and a layer of moisture could be seen in them, mixed with a plethora of emotions.
She had so much to say, her emotions complex and indistinguishable. When he looked at her, he felt that his heart was going to shatter into a pieces. Gary felt that he had committed too many sins.
How could he make her so sad?
As he was just rejecting her kiss alone then, it had already made her so hurt. Wouldn't her heart be shattered after they broke up?
He was greatly frustrated, his eyes burning with anger. When he thought of Janice, he wanted nothing more than to kill her.
He surely would teach Janice a lesson.
When he was done with Celeste, he would definitely get his revenge on Janice.
Celeste looked at his complex and distinct gaze blankly, with a hint of hesitation. When she saw the rage in his eyes, she shrank back.
When Gary sensed Celeste's slight shiver, he quickly reverted his gaze to a harmless one.
He held her face and stroked it gently. Then, he lowered his head and kissed her tender lips.
His kiss was as light as a dragonfly skimming on the surface of water. It made Celeste tremble again.
Then, he said cautiously, "Celeste, your body is weak. Let's take care of your health first. Let's go to see the doctor tomorrow and have a check-up, shall we?"
That could also be a reason for him to not touch her.
Celeste sighed in her heart. She could actually clearly feel Gary's desire for her.
Yet, he thought of such an excuse.
Celeste felt that it wasn't just him not wanting to touch her, but it was also because he felt inferior and guilty.
He wanted to say something, but stopped on second thought. It seemed like he was absentminded, and he was probably feeling guilty.
Even though she did not know what happened between him and Janice, Celeste felt that Gary was not the one who made a mistake willingly that time.
That was also why she was so reluctant to leave him.
She did not want to let Janice get her way.
That was especially so after the greed and ambition which Janice continued to show over and over again at her. In order to win Gary's favor, she would do anything. Celeste did not want her to win, and she could not allow her to get what she wanted.
There was no love in their relationship, only schemes. How long could that last?
"My body is doing well," Celeste said, "You don't have to worry about my health. When you were in Boston, I went to the hospital to do a check-up. The results showed that there is nothing wrong."
Gary was shocked. Was she blocking his only path of retreat?
His mouth parted slightly, he seemed stunned for a while. Then, he said, "Did you actually go to the hospital?"
"That's right." Celeste nodded. "I'm fine. My recovery was speedy, so you don't have to worry about me at all." "Have you completely recovered?" Gary asked again.
Celeste nodded seriously.
"And you won't feel cold anymore?" Gary asked with suspicion.
Celeste blushed, she hesitated for a moment before she leaned forward and pressed against his chest. She raised her big and sparkly eyes at him, staring straight into his eyes, "Can you see that I am trying to seduce you?"
Gary's gaze tightened again. There were too many emotions surging from within.
He seemed to be filled with worries. He did not expect Celeste to say that out loud, as if she was trying to get him succumb to it on purpose.
He really wanted her.
How could he not want her?
However, he felt that he was too dirty. He was all too selfish. At that moment, his greed was off the roof.
He wanted everything, he wanted Lowell to be fine, and he wanted to feel Celeste even more.
However, once Celeste knew what happened, she would definitely feel disgusted.
However, at that moment, Gary knew very well that he had no way out.
Celeste was already taking the initiative so strongly. She would be affected badly emotionally if he pushed her away at that moment. Could he be so despicable to pretend as if nothing had happened?
What happened just a little while ago?
He remembered it then. Back then, he thought he was drunk. Everything that happened that night was purely based on Janice's one-sided story. However, he really couldn't remember whether they had actually done anything or not.
Gary could not think of anything no matter how hard he tried to recall that night. He didn't know whether he touched Janice or not.
However, Janice did wake up in his arms the next morning.
He felt greatly frustrated and upset then. His heart was struggling hard, and he was drown in his own contradicting mind.
Should he touch Celeste or not?
He was in a great dilemma.
His mind was spinning so wildly that his entire body was sweating.
At that moment, Celeste had already made up her mind. She would not wait for Gary, her hands inadvertently reached his belt. "Hiss!" Gary gasped. He never expected Celeste to be so daring.
He grabbed her hand, but when he looked into Celeste's eyes, he calmed down a little bit and let her continue without hesitation.
Gary knew that he was doomed, he knew that there was no way he could fight back.
They got intimate from the door to the bed. The two of them embraced each other tightly.
Gary gradually retreated. Celeste pushed him one step at a time and slowly forced him to the corner of the bed.
Celeste even became the dominant one as she pressed him down.
They were kissing each other, and a burst of desire came from their hearts. The two of them were so eager to have each other.
Perhaps they would only feel that way when it came to each other.
They would never feel that way for anyone else.
After all, Celeste still did not give Gary any chance to retreat.
In the end, she still succeeded.
She was so reserved, yet she was willing to risk everything when she did that. After doing all that, she lay down beside Gary and listened to his calm and firm heartbeat. She did not regret at all, and felt that it was the right choice.
However, as Gary hugged her tightly, he buried his handsome face in Celeste's sweaty hair.
He remained motionless for a long time. Celeste did not know what was on his mind, but she could feel the complicated emotions in Gary's heart.
