"Is that so?" Heinz snorted. It was obvious from his tone that he did not quite believe it.

"Gary is not that kind of person. He despises having casual relationships with other women." Lowell had been living with Gary for the past few years, so he thought that he knew Gary well.

However, Heinz only sneered and said, "Don't side with that kid anymore. The audacity he has to do that! How could he? Has his brain been eaten by dogs?"

Lowell lowered his head, he felt a little ashamed. He felt guilty as most likely it would be his brain that was being eaten by dogs.

As of then, Heinz must be disappointed with him and Gary.

Lowell wasn't sure what to say.

However, Lowell knew that he was the one in the wrong, so he could only try to shoulder all the responsibilities.

"Heinz, it is indeed my fault. If I hadn't treated Janice that way, Gary would never have been so kind to her."

"Humph, you were indeed wrong." Heinz wasn't being courteous to him, and started lecturing Lowell too, "Lowell, haven't you ever seen a woman in your life? Or, has all the decent girls in the world ceased to exist? Why must you give up on all the good things in the world just for someone like her?"

Lowell felt even more ashamed. He felt that Heinz was right. He smirked with self- mockery and replied bitterly, "Heinz, sometimes, you can't control yourself, and you can't control what your heart wants. I believe that you have experienced this type of feeling before too."

Had he not been cheated on for so many times in the past, would his liking for Janice be diminished then?

Furthermore, Janice had quite a great personality. It was just that she was getting worse and worse in the past few months. Sometimes, when one couldn't be with someone despite loving someone too much, they would turn to the extreme and their personality would change.

However, from his words then, it sounded like he was on Janice's side.

Lowell did not mean to do that. He just felt that he was indeed a little helpless back then, and that he could not control himself.

So, in the end, he had to pay the price for his stupid behaviors.

If Gary and Celeste really broke up in the future, he would never be able to be at ease with himself anymore for the rest of his life. Furthermore, he was the one who knocked away the child in Janice's womb, and he felt guilty about that too.

Facing Heinz's criticism, Lowell could not do anything at all. He could only lower his head and accept it humbly.

When Heinz saw how depressed Lowell looked, he frowned and said angrily, "How could you two scholars let a woman like her frame you both? What's the use of sending you to the United States to study? You two are smart, and you were always so great at making fun and talking back at me, so why are you two so weak in the face of a woman? Ha! The uncle and nephew, the two of you were fooled by the same woman. Did you two eat sh*t growing up?"

After he was done yelling angrily, Heinz stood up and kicked Lowell's legs, as if he had not lived up to his expectations.

Lowell did not dodge the kick either. He felt greatly ashamed of himself.

"Stop being like a loser here. Buck up now. I think you two will still need me to clean up this mess

for you."

After he finished saying that, Heinz turned around and left.

With that, Lowell was left alone in the room. He watched as Heinz left and hurriedly shouted out, "Heinz, you have to pretend to not know about this. If Gary knows that I have told you about it, he will definitely be angry."

"What right does he have to be angry?" Heinz stopped in his tracks and turned to look at Lowell. "He has already done so much that the only thing I can do now is to mock him. He really should change his last name this time round. If he doesn't, I will definitely be angry."

Lowell pursed his lips, he did not speak.

"Pull yourself together as well. If you continue to be so stupid, I will smash your head in." After Heinz said that, he left without looking back.

Lowell's heart was feeling even uneasier, he felt as if he had caused another huge trouble again.

He could only take out his phone and dial Lester's foreign number helplessly.

The moment the call was connected, Lowell complained to Lester on the phone, "Lester, didn't I tell you not to tell Heinz about this? Why did you tell him about everything? Now, he knows everything. If Gary replaces out that you are the one who told Heinz everything, he will definitely explode out of anger."

"Tell the president? Tell him what?" Lester sounded confused as he scratched his head and asked, "Are you talking about the matter regarding Gary and Janice? I did not tell the president about this." "What did you just say? Didn't you tell him anything?" Lowell could feel sweats forming on his forehead.

"That's right, I did not tell him anything. Why would you think that I told him about this?" Lester still found it strange. "I have not called the president for a week now."

When he heard that, Lowell suddenly realized that he seemed to have been fooled by Heinz.

Heinz never knew what had happened. He just thought that Lowell was in a bad mood. Then, he must have speculated something and tricked him into spilling everything.

Ha!

Lowell was stunned.

It turned out that he was truly the brainless one. It seemed that his brain was really being eaten altogether by dogs.

Lowell got even more frustrated when he thought of it. It seemed that he was still not as good as

Heinz.

Heinz had tricked him into speaking the truth on his own. He set him up!

Oh!

Or, that wasn't what it was!

It was all his fault, he was too stupid.

He felt even more annoyed at himself for not thinking it through. Lester was not the troublemaker in this case, but he was.

At that moment, Lowell even felt like he wanted to die.

He wanted to dig a hole, hide himself in there, and never come out of it ever again.

Lester, who was on the other end of the line could sense something too. His heart skipped a beat, and he suddenly felt guilty. He complained to Lowell, Master Lowell, I am in big trouble now. Now that the president knows about it, he will definitely think that I was deliberately hiding this from him, and that I am out of his control. Now, I will be implicated by you and Master Gary's troubles."

"I am sorry." Lowell could only apologize.

"Forget it, I will call the president first and report this to him." Lester did not say anything anymore. Besides, they were all his masters, while he was just a subordinate. He dared not say anything.

After hanging up the phone, Lowell sat down on the bed. What was he supposed to do then?

Just when he was at a loss, the door was suddenly opened again.

Heinz was back. He told Lowell, "Don't let Gary know that I already know about this matter."

Lowell looked at Heinz blankly and nodded in a daze.

Heinz frowned and asked, obviously displeased, "Why are you so upset? Didn't I tell you to pull yourself together?"

Lowell was already contemplating his death. So what if he was being upset?

Heinz went on, "Don't show this face here. Grace already knows that there is something on your mind. Haven't you learned your lesson yet?"

Lowell immediately stood up, he braced himself and said, "Of course I have learned something. You never actually knew about this, yet you tricked me into telling you so many things. I even thought that Lester was the one who reported it to you. Now, not only did I betray Gary, I even got Lester into trouble. How great."

"So what? I am your brother, so what

do you want to do if you don't tell

me? Do you want to watch that group of idiots continue falling into the abyss and follow their path? What could I do even if you told me? At most, I would just laugh at you guys. Do you think that I would be on Janice's side and continue to scheme against you guys? Do you guys really think that I am as stupid. as you are?"

When he heard what Heinz said, Lowell suddenly realized that what he said was right. He indeed neglected the important things.

It did not seem like a wrong thing to let Heinz know about it. In the end, he was well connected, and with his ability, it would be easy for him to solve the problem.

Even though Gary was smart, he was still young.

Sometimes, when one was too young and arrogant, they will be taught a lesson.

"Of course it is a good thing to let

you know about this. It will be great if you could Kelp

Kelp us solve this problem, but you too know Gary's personality very well. I am already very sorry towards him." Lowell's tone was guilty, he felt downcast. "He really doesn't want other people to know about this. Now that I have told you about it, he will definitely hate me from the bottom of his heart."

"Humph!" Heinz chuckled. "How do you expect not to be laughed at when you are just brainless? If you want it to stop, then you should be smarter and not try to save your pitiful face." Throughout these years, Heinz's son had always been mean to him, calling him a man that was already wedded for the second time, a used man. He could never refute.

He was just tease them for being dumb then, but they started feeing aggrieved.

"Heinz, don't let Grace know about this." Lowell was worried that if she knew about it, it would affect her pregnancy.

"I don't need you to tell me that," Heinz said in a low voice, "How can I tell Grace about this? If she knew about this, what would she do?"

"That's great." Lowell breathed a sigh of relief. As long as no one told Grace about it and that the child in her womb was not harmed, it would be all right.

Looking at how everything was then, he felt sorry for everyone. He felt that he had failed his brother and sister for having raised him.

"I have told you before, if you continue to show your worried face, she will see it and she will start to get suspicious," Heinz warned, "We won't be able to hide this forever, so just be rational and pull yourself together. Do not show any flaw in front of Grace. Otherwise, you would really end up being the person who would cause Grace harm."

When Lowell heard Heinz's words, he suddenly panicked. "What should I do? I am always worried, and I get scared without myself knowing about it. I think I should go back to the United States. I fear that I won't be able to keep myself under control here."

"If Grace knows that you went back to the United States, she will start to think that she did something wrong. She will nag me for a long, long time. What's worse, she will feel guilty. You only came back for a few days, then you left when it's supposed to be the lively Spring Festival. Why are you getting dumber and dumber?"

True, Heinx was right. Lowell thought that he was getting more and more stupid too.

He took a deep breath, closed his eyes and as if he had made a decision, he said, "Okay, I will try my best to pull myself together. I won't cause any more troubles."
