"I am not hungry," Sebastian told Lowell, "Uncle Lowell, you are the one who has worked hard. You had to tag along and go around with some people for no good reason, you need to replenish your strength." Obviously, he was referring to Claudia.

Claudia felt greatly aggrieved as she swept a glance at Sebastian.

Sebastian immediately gave her a sharp and cold look of disgust.

Claudia smiled and went along with it, "Yes, Mr. Jones, you have to eat more. You have suffered a lot today because of me, for no good reason. Look at you, even your nephew is worried about you. I feel sorry for you too. Come on, quickly eat more."

Her emotional intelligence was indeed so good that she would not start crying just because she was mocked by others.

She graduated from a police academy, she had been through everything.

Ever since the start of the semester, she had been trained by the instructors to not be defeated so easily. They had been harsh to her.

Moreover, she also glanced at Sebastian once more. Her big, black and bright eyes were shining with eager lights, as if she was saying, "Little boy, do you think you can mock me and make me back down so easily? Humph, impossible! That will never happen. Let me tell you, I am invincible and unparalleled in this world."

Sebastian narrowed his eyes. He did not expect Claudia to look at him like that.

Moreover, from the looks of it, it did not look like Claudia had been hurt by his words at all.

She was really such a thick-skinned woman.

Sebastian frowned, he calmed himself down a little as he looked down, hiding his own emotions.

What on earth was he doing?

Ever since she showed up, he had completely lost himself, and he had lost his usual calmness. That won't do!

He must not argue with that woman.

Besides, the two of them were completely incompatible. She was so much older than him, yet she was still thinking about him. Didn't she know what was right for herself?

He hurriedly looked up and glanced around at the people at the table.

Sylvia adjusted her mood too, and she spoke to Sebastian in an impatient manner, "Sebastian, you should eat more. Why are you talking so much?"

"I am full. Please, take your time. Excuse me now, sorry." Sebastian looked at his sister indifferently, then he stood up and walked away.

He did not even say anything else to Kendrix or Claudia, he ignored them completely.

Sylvia and Lowell were both a little surprised. They did not expect Sebastian to leave halfway through a meal.

How did things end up like that?

Lowell looked at Sebastian's leaving figure as he headed upstairs. He was stunned too. After that, he stood up and told everyone, "Mr. Trevino, Miss Loris, enjoy yourselves. I will go upstairs for a while, I will come back down right after that."

Kendrix nodded slightly.

Claudia shrugged.

Lowell quickly caught up to Sebastian, and the two of them walked up the stairs together.

Sebastian looked towards Lowell and said, "Uncle Lowell, I know that there is something you wish to tell me."

"Yes, I do have something to tell you." Lowell followed him into his room. "What happened to you?" "Are you referring to me verbally assaulting Mr. Trevino the moment I saw him?"

"No." Lowell shook his head, he was trying to replace the right words to put it.

"I just can't stand the way he attacks you," Sebastian spoke, "Uncle Lowell, you are part of The Jones family, you should not be a pushover."

"Sebastian, do you know something about them?" Lowell was referring to Sylvia and Kendrix.

"Are you referring to Sylvia having a crush on Kendrix?" Sebastian asked calmly.

"What?" Lowell was taken aback. "Don't tell me you already know about this too?"

"Yes, I do know about it long ago. It's not only me who knows about it, even Gary, Ernest, and mom know about it. If my guess is correct, even dad knows," Sebastian said. Lowell was stunned. He did not expect it to be like that at all.

Seeing him standing there in a daze, Sebastian continued, "Uncle Lowell, did you just replace out about it today? Is that why you are so concerned about Sylvia?"

"Yes." Lowell smiled bitterly. "You have guessed it correctly."

"Uncle Lowell, it would be wise for you to not meddle in her problems," Sebastian said, "She is our little devil, how could she ever be bullied?"

"Yet, Sylvia has changed," Lowell said, "Can't you see that? She is no longer who she once was. She used to be so cute and lively, but now, she does not talk much anymore." "She has fallen in love, and she is willing to be bullied. How could she talk much?" Sebastian said.

Lowell was stunned once again, he smiled bitterly. "What on earth is going on in all of your minds? Do kids mature so early nowadays?"

Was there really such a big generational gap between them?

It seemed like there was not too much difference in terms of age between them.

"Uncle Lowell, no matter what, you

are still our elder." Sebastian reminded him. "If Kendrix is really interested in Sylvia, then he should know his manners and be more polite instead of being so arrogant towards an elder. However, he is not interested in Sylvia, there is no need for us to let him do things his way."

Lowell paused for a moment, then he finally smiled. "Even though that is true, we won't have many chances to meet him. Who knows what will happen in the future?"

He did not want to make things too awkward for Sylvia.

Turning friends into enemies was not his style of doing things anyway.

"I understand your intentions," Sebastian said, "If you feel bad, then go downstairs and eat with them. However, if you think that you wil just be sitting on pins and needles if you need to be there, why don't you just stay upstairs and let them be?"

Lowell said, "I think it would be better for me to go downstairs. It is impolite to leave visitors there. Mr. Trevino is not the only one there, Miss Loris is too. She actually helped me out just now, she is quite a good person."

"If she is a good person, then there won't be any good people left in this world, "Sebastian said, "Uncle Lowell, it is better for you to widen your eyes and look properly when you looking at a woman. Do not misjudge them again."

Lowell was stunned. He felt that Sebastian was a little too harsh on Claudia.

"Did she offend you?" Lowell asked uncertainly.

Sebastian did not reply.

Lowell was surprised again. "What's going on? Did she really offend you?"

"No," Sebastian said coldly. However, no matter how he looked at it, it did look like Claudia had offended him, and in a bad way.

Upon seeing that, Lowell got curious, but he felt that there was no need for him to ask that much.

He really could not figure out how Claudia would have offended Sebastian and made his temperament change so drastically that day. He was not as graceful as he usually was.

"That is great, you should have something to eat later. I will go downstairs first." Lowell patted Sebastian's shoulder and went downstairs. The dining table downstairs was not that quiet.

Claudia directly questioned Kendrix in front of Sylvia, "Kendrix, what is the meaning of this? How could you humiliate him in his own house?"
