Kendrix noticed that Sylvia was staring at him, so he turned his head and looked at her.

Only then did he realize that she was almost drooling at him as she stared at him ever so intently.

She looked just like a fan staring at her idol.

He couldn't be wrong. It was just as his students had told him.

Although many had treated him like that in the past, he was not interested in them.

However, he was inexplicably satisfied when it was her staring at him like that.

He quite liked that feeling.

Kendrix smiled, and his gentle temperament was very charming.

Sylvia's breathing quickened, and she quickly lowered her head, not daring to look at him again.

He caught her staring.

She found her actions earlier a little funny because she couldn't believe she could stare at him for so long.

In an instant, it made her vex.

She was acting like a fangirl who was just too into him.

Kendrix looked at the shy Sylvia, smiling slightly at her as she lowered her head." Come help me with the fruits."

"Okay." she agreed to it immediately as she didn't want him to see her that way.

"I'm coming right away."

She adjusted her mood a little and hurried to him.

The fruits on the tabletop looked clean, and they should have been washed already.

"Huh?" Sylvia muttered in surprise.

"What's wrong?" Kendrix immediately asked.

"Aren't the fruits ready to be used already? They look clean, and there are still water drops on them," She said to him, "Claudia should have washed them already." "You can rinse it again. It's better to be safe than sorry." he ordered in a deep voice.

"True." She thought for a moment and immediately nodded. She picked up the fruits and prepared to wash them again.

She turned on the tap and let the water run on the fruits.

She rubbed the skin of the fruits gently with her slender and long fingers. She looked clumsy and cautious as if it was her first time doing such a task.

He was stunned and realized that she surely had been used to others spoiling her. She might not have washed a fruit before.

He didn't think of that.

Kendrix calmed down slightly and reached for the fruit in her hand, but he accidentally touched her hand again.

Sylvia froze as she was stunned, and she looked up at him. "Mr. Trevino?"

She was afraid that he would really do something out of line right there.

"Give me the fruit." His face darkened, which made him look aloof.

She immediately loosened her grip, and the fruit landed in his hands.

Frightened, she took a step back from him, who was already wearing a gloomy expression.

Could it be he was irritated by her clumsiness?

Sylvia muttered to herself, but it was true she had never done it before.

Noticing the change in her mood, Kendrix calmed down and said softly, "It seems that you haven't done such a task before. I'm sorry. I didn't think it through."

"Could you tell?" She was a bit embarrassed, and her face turned red. "Is it that obvious?"

As she spoke, she lowered her little head. He couldn't help but smile at her cuteness while she looked pitiful.

He said as he smiled, "It's indeed very obvious."

Was he regretting being together with her?

Almost subconsciously, she looked up to check out Kendrix's expression as she exclaimed in her heart.

His head was hung low as he focused on swiftly washing the fruits.

She felt that she had done a bad job after looking at how he did it.

Would he dislike her for that?

If that was the case, it would make her feel terrible.

Sylvia didn't have the confidence she usually had. She just looked at his side profile, feeling her heart pounding.

At the same time, she was praying that he would not dislike her forthat.

"Observe my movements." His low but almost melodious voice sounded.

"What?" Sylvia was once again stunned.

"Why are you so shocked?" Kendrix just found it funny. "It's never too late to learn how to wash fruits, right?"

So, he wasn't feeling adverse towards her.

Her uneasiness dissipated right away. Fortunately, she could still learn then. It was not too late yet.

"Yes. I do realize that I should start learning to do some chores now, shouldn't I?" She studied his movements seriously.

He was done washing the fruits very quickly, then he took out the knife and cut them. He was very skilled and soon the flesh and pit were separated.

With his experience in cutting fruits, he could easily separate the skin from the fruit with just a few slicing movements. After that, he put the skinned fruits that were cut into cubes on a plate. "Wow!" Sylvia was amazed. "Aren't you too good at this, Mr. Trevino?"

Why was she so surprised over him just cutting fruits?

It seemed that she really wouldn't know how to do any chores on her own.

Kendrix continued to separate the fruit from its skin and pit. Soon, there was already enough fruit to be made into juice.

He turned on the juicer, and it made buzzing noises.

He inserted them in, and juice came out of the funnel soon after. It looked very thick and appetizing.

Sylvia looked at Kendrix in a daze. He unhurriedly served the juice to her. He cleaned up the skin and pit at the same time too, threw the rubbish, and cleaned his hands and

the equipments before choosing a

glass to pour the juice for

her.

"A small glass is enough. Don't forget to leave some for Claudia too." Although she couldn't wait to taste it, she didn't forget that she wanted to share it with her friend.

He liked that she was so kind and knew how to share the good things.

He smiled gently and said, "You can have it first. She can make some more if she wants."

"I don't think that's the right thing to do." She turned to look at the closed door. There were still only the two of them in the house, so she hurriedly told him what happened earlier, Mr. Trevino, what should we do? Claudia is suspicious of us dating already. I think she knows we're in a relationship."

Hearing that, he raised his eyebrows slightly, and there were not much emotions on his handsome face.

In fact, he had already known long ago that Claudia would see through them.

It was just a matter of time.

In fact, it was not a big deal to let Claudia know, and he wasn't keeping it from her on purpose. After all, he knew she was sensible enough to know what to say and what not say

Seeing that he didn't speak, Sylvia blinked.

What did his reaction mean?

He poured out the juice into an exquisite looking glass, handed it to her, and said, "Drink it."

"Okay." She quickly took it, took a sip, and sighed with satisfaction. "Wow, it's so delicious. It is the best fruit juice I've ever had!" "You must be exaggerating." he laughed.

"It's not an exaggeration. It's true," she said earnestly, "Try it."

As she spoke, she raised the glass to his mouth.

He was stunned, and his eyes darkened.

Sylvia immediately realized that she was prompting him to have an indirect kiss with her, and she blushed instantly.

"Why don't you pour another glass?" She didn't even dare to look into his deep gaze.

Kendrix had already grabbed her hand, pulled the glass to his lips, and took a sip of the juice.

It seemed no different from a regular juice that he usually had.

He still wasn't used to her exaggerated behavior.

"How is it? Does it taste good?" She was still looking forward to his answer.

His eyes darkened and he said, "It's all right."

"How can it be just all right? It's exceptionally delicious."

She corrected him, her face blushed.

"You're exaggerating," Kendrix said with a smile, "If you like it, I can make them for you next time."

"Really?" Sylvia could not believe that he would do something like that for her. She asked tentatively, "Even in school?"

"Yes." He nodded. "If you want."

"Of course I want it." she responded excitedly.

At that time, the door opened.

Claudia happened to hear that. She burst into laughter and asked, "What do you want?"

The driver followed behind her.

Both of them looked at Sylvia and Kendrix. The driver put the things down, waiting for Sylvia's instructions before he left.

"Mr. Trevino made some awesome juice. Do you want some?" Sylvia looked back at Claudia.

"Oh, so you mean juice, huh? I thought it was something else." Claudia sounded a little disappointed.

Sylvia pouted and continued to drink her juice.

"Miss Sylvia, all the things have been brought up here. Do you have any other orders?"

"No. You can leave. I'll call you later," Sylvia said.

"Okay." The driver left quickly.

Claudia saw the driver off and went back. She looked at the things on the kitchen table and said with a smile, "Do you have my share?"

"Yes." Sylvia replied.

"No."

Sylvia and Kendrix gave different answers at almost the exact same time.

Sylvia's eyes widened as she looked at him and then at Claudia.

Claudia raised her eyebrows and looked at him. She protested, "Why can't I have some? There's still so much left."

Kendrix said calmly, "I want to drink the rest. You can eat the apples."

"Kendrix!" Claudia's eyes widened. She soon understood that he wanted to leave it for Sylvia instead of drinking it himself.

He was spoiling Sylvia to such an extent. That was terrifying.

Claudia felt that he was not her cousin anymore.

What happen to the Kendrix who wouldn't be tempted by girls?

He was even willing to sacrifice his own family for his girlfriend then.

Claudia looked at Kendrix with contempt.

Kendrix remained unmoved. Anyway, he just wouldn't give Claudia the juice.
