Jensen Charm nodded, but he was still extremely worried. So, he asked, "What if Grace misunderstands?"

Heinz Jones frowned. He was worried about that too.

"Look," Jensen sighed and said, "You guys nearly broke up when you found out that she had a child. You were extremely furious. At that time, both of you were so enraged. You refused to listen to whatever I had to say. You didn't expect Little Gary to be your child, did you?"

Heinz frowned and looked at Jensen. He remembered that Jensen had repeatedly told him that night to go to Grace's house but he had refused to listen to him.

"How dare you bring this up!" Heinz said. He was furious at the thought of it. "You knew very well that Little Gary is my child but you didn't tell me. Are you even my friend?"

"Well," Jensen nodded as he continued, 'TH admit it. I do neglect my friends when it comes to love."

Heinz took a deep breath before he snorted, "How could you be so shameless?"

"You just have to get used to it," Jensen said while looking at him with a faint smile on his face. "If our positions were swapped, you would probably have done the same thing too. I finally managed to get Alice to agree to be my girlfriend. How could I tell you?"

Heinz was speechless.

"Look, this is life. It's full of unpredictable things," Jensen smiled as he spoke. "Furthermore, I kept dropping hints to you but you refused to go no matter what, so how could you blame me?"

Heinz was even more speechless. He glanced at Jensen and refused to pay him any more attention. Then, he got into the car and started the car.

Jensen shouted after him, "Hey, listen to me. You'd better replace an opportunity and think of a way to confess this matter to Grace."

Heinz did not answer him.

He drove away and he soon arrived at the Emerald Apartment. After stopping the car, he rested for a while before making his way upstairs. When he reached upstairs and knocked on the door, no one opened the door for him.

He took out his mobile phone to give Grace a call.

Soon, the phone call was connected.

"Grace, where are you?"

"I'm in the shopping mall," Grace Smith said, "Have you returned from the hospital?"

"Yes, why did you go to the mall? How could you still go shopping when you are unwell?"

"I came to buy some necessities," Grace said. "Wait for a while. I'll head back now."

"I'll come and pick you up. Send me your location."

"Pick me up?" Grace was a little surprised, "It's a Sunday. There are a lot of people out here."

"That's exactly why I wanted to pick you up," Heinz replied. He couldn't understand Grace's rationale. "Where are you?"

"I'm at Danz Mall. I am now in the men's clothing department on the left side of the third floor. I'll wait for you here then."

"Okay, I'll come over now!" Heinz replied and he immediately went downstairs.

When he got into the car, he thought of her words. What did they mean?

Did she think that he wouldn't dare to show up because there were many people around?

Did it seem as though he was afraid of the crowd?

She was his woman who had borne him a child. Just because she had gotten pregnant out of wedlock did not mean that she would be afraid of showing her to the public.

It was not as if he was raising a canary.

Meanwhile, Grace was choosing shirts in the menswear department on the third floor. She noticed a shirt that she liked. It was a white shirt with the simplest design. She felt thag white shirts suited Heinz most as it could set off his serious demeanor.

She happened to see a classic white shirt with exquisite buttons displayed at the window.

It was plain and simple. The exquisite details of the shirt, however, made it look luxurious.

Grace walked into the shop. The shop assistant had approached her before she could say anything.

"Miss, how may I help you today?"

"I would like to buy this shirt," Grace said.

"Miss, are you buying the shirt for your husband?"

Grace was slightly shocked and she didn't answer her.

The shop assistant smiled and said, "Do you know what size your husband wears?"

Grace was startled again.

It was her first time buying male clothing, so she didn't know much about it.

She looked at the shopping guide and said, "Oh, I don't know the exact size of his clothes, but he is about 185 centimeters tall. He has a good figure and he is very fit."

"If he is that tall, an extra-large size should be suitable for him. However, shirts are generally chosen according to the size of the neck. Why don't you ask him the size that he usually wears?" Grace was startled. She felt it would be awkward to call him on the phone to ask him about that.

She was a little embarrassed.

Her desire to buy clothes for him happened in the spur of the moment.

She was here because she wanted to buy clothes for Little Gary and Ernest. She thought that they would look very cute dressing up as twins.

When she thought of the child that she had lost, she still mourned in her heart. Perhaps, Ernest was God's way of compensating her.

She thought of Heinz, who could take care of Ernest and his friends' parents. Although he had a bad temper, he is still kind deep down.

When she thought about it in that way, she really admired him in her heart.

She wished she could draw closer to Heinz, understand him, and share his burdens.

Grace had those thoughts in silence.

When she saw the men's clothing department from the elevator, she decided to go there on a whim.

She didn't expect that she needed to know the size in order to buy clothes. That was troublesome.

"Miss, are you planning to surprise the gentleman, therefore, you are embarrassed to call him?" the shopping assistant asked when she saw Grace's hesitation.

Grace was a little surprised and she immediately nodded. She said, "Yeah, that was my initial plan."

"Okay, I understand now. Shall we choose the shirt according to the standard size then? I'll pack it for you. If the size is not suitable, you could come back here to return the shirt." Grace immediately shook her head and said, "It's okay. He'll come here later. I'll ask him when he arrives."

"Oh, that's great," the shop assistant said with a smile.

While they were talking, a woman's voice full of sarcasm could be heard.

"Oh, are you choosing a man's clothes?"

Grace was shocked. It was Marry's voice.

She hadn't seen Marry Smith for several days. After going through the miscarriage, Marry still tried to cause trouble for Grace. Therefore, she did not expect that she would bump into Marry again. She pursed her lips and turned to look at her.

Marry was dressed in a fiery red shirt, white pants, and high heels. As she stood there, she seemed cold and she had a fierce gaze in her eyes.

From the moment their relationship turned sour, Marry no longer showed the slightest tenderness toward Grace.

When Grace saw her talking in such a tone, she ignored her.

Marry snorted again and said, "Why? Which wild man did you hook up with this time?"

Grace frowned slightly and ignored Marry's deliberate provocation.

She didn't want to pay attention to her insults.

Seeing that Grace was silent and ignoring her, she instantly became very furious.

"Did you break up with Heinz? He left you once he knew about your child, didn't he? Are you buying clothes for another man now? Do you plan to throw yourself at him?" Marry insulted her. Her words were f*cking unpleasant, sharp and full of provocation.

Grace's face was very pale. It seemed that Heinz had found out about their son from Marry.

Grace remained silent. There were a lot of people

crowding at the store's entrance. Suddenly, even the shop assistant was looking at her as though she was a clown.

They were discussing about her. Everyone looked at her and whispered, as though they were certain that Grace was such a person.

She was extremely embarrassed.
