"What's the matter?" Tyler Henley suddenly returned to his senses, there was concern in his eyes, "Who hurt Grace?"

"The former chief editor." Chuck Dorris just realized what he had said. "Oh, I'm being such a gossip. Anyway, it's dealt with. It's alright. With Mr. Jones's protection, who would dare hurt Mr. Jones' woman?" Tyler frowned as he ignored Chuck and chased after Grace.

When he got to her side, without saying a word, he grabbed Grace's wrist and pulled her to the back of a pillar.

"What are you doing?" Grace was shocked by the way he held her wrist so tightly.

"You were hurt by the former chief editor?" Tyler asked in a low voice. "How did he hurt you?"

Grace was stunned for a moment and immediately realized that Chuck was the one who said that.

He was such a gossip.

She took a long sigh, "That was long ago, a court session will be held soon. Don't worry, it's all handled."

Tyler looked down at Grace with a serious gaze. "Just because you have Heinz, you're going to ignore the help your friend offered?"

Grace was stunned and was a little surprised by what he said.

She studied Tyler's expression.

He stood there, his eyes and brows looked deep. When she looked at him seriously, a faint smile appeared on his face.

The edges of his face were quite prominent and he looked handsome. She used to think that they were close, but now that she was looking closely at him, that smile of his looked very distant. There was a smile on his face, but it looked quite sad.

Grace's heart ached. Perhaps he was upset that she did not need him to care about her any longer.

She shook her head immediately. "How can that be? Tyler, we will always be good friends for life. I thought that wouldn't change at all. See, I'm here for the interview that you recommended me for. How can I not need your help?"

To be honest, she didn't need Heinz's help, nor did she want his help.

After all, it was her job anyway.

Tyler smiled and said, "Grace, you're right. We're good friends for life. Remember, for life."

"Of course," said Grace, taken aback. "Seriously, you're like a girl. You even look a little emotional."

Tyler lowered his head to look at her, not saying a word, as if he was tacitly admitting it.

A girl?

Or emotional?

Just as Grace stiffened, he then said, "Let's go, I'll take you there."

"Oh." Grace nodded quickly.

Tyler turned around. He had huge strides, and Grace followed behind closely.

Chuck also quickly followed.

Passing through the crowd, they arrived at a hall. After arriving at the midpoint, they turned and entered the long corridor, where the lounge and reception room were.

Tyler stood at the door of a lounge and knocked on the door.

A woman's voice sounded from inside, saying, "Come in."

"A female professor?" Grace lowered her voice and asked Tyler.

Tyler nodded and glanced at her. His gaze shifted slightly as he nodded, "Yes, a female professor."

"Who is it?" asked Grace.

"She's not on your list," Tyler said. "But I'll definitely make sure that you didn't come in vain."

"Who on earth is she?"

"You'll know when you enter."

He pushed the door open, Grace took a deep breath, and followed closely behind him.

Chuck also went in.

There was a lounge that was neither big nor small, around 20 square meters. The sofa was made of cloth, which was very cozy.

A middle-aged woman was sitting on one of the single sofas. She had a good figure and wore a black dress, which looked very elegant.

After Grace calmed down, she suddenly exclaimed in surprise, "Is that Laney Brooks the artist?"

Tyler shrugged his shoulders. "You're right."

When the woman inside heard that Grace was surprised, she looked up at her. She picked up the gold-framed glasses on the tea table next to her and put them on. Her delicate facial features were covered a lot.

That was it.

Laney Brooks was an artist of the Northern City Publication. Most of the children's books that were published were from Laney. Professor Brooks was also a professor at the Art Academy in Northern City University.

Grace knew of her art and learnt about her through her interviews.

However, she did not expect that Tyler would introduce Professor Brooks to her.

"If I had known that I would be interviewed by such a beautiful girl and a high spirited young man, I would have accepted the interview earlier." Professor Brooks had a sense of humor. She looked at Grace and Chuck and said, "Come in and sit down. Make yourself at home."

"Professor Brooks." Grace was very excited. Although she tried to keep her composure, her eyes were shining, "I didn't think that I would meet you."

"Yes, if Tyler introduced us to each other earlier, we would be friends already." Laney smiled and invited Grace and Chuck to sit down. She ordered Tyler, "Tyler, bring us a pot of tea. Oh, young people like coffee, do you drink tea or coffee?"

Grace immediately said, "No need to bother, Professor Brooks."

"Tea it is, then," Tyler said in a low voice. "It's settled then. Since you have something to ask of the old lady, then you should do as Romans do."

"Be my guest," Laney looked at Tyler and frowned. "Am I an old lady?"

"If the shoe fits, wear it," Tyler replied and looked at Laney. "If you're over 50 then you're an old lady. Do you think you're an old lady?"

"I'm eighteen," Laney said with a serious expression.

Tyler gave her a calm look and nodded. "Okay, you're eighteen, whatever you say."

Then he went out.

After sitting down on the sofa, Grace immediately became a fangirl.

"Professor Brooks, can I interview you?"

Laney smiled and said, "No."

"Ah!" Grace was stunned by the rejection. She was a little at a loss.

Laney laughed, "I'm only teasing you, but don't interview me today, let's do it some other day, you can interview those you scheduled with. Let's get to know each other. Next time, I'll introduce some of Northern City's old painters to you. Then you can also do a series like what Professor Charlie Ross did." "I'm truly grateful to you."1 Grace didn't think that Professor Brooks would say something like that.

She was very surprised, and at the same time, she finally felt like she achieved something through her hard work.

"Thank you, Professor Brooks," Chuck also thanked her. "You're really helping us a lot."

Laney looked at them and said with a smile, "Don't mention it. If I don't help Grace, Tyler will be very angry."

Grace was stunned and was a little surprised by what Professor Brooks said. Tyler had a good social network and it really helped her a lot.

"Old lady, what are you nagging about?" Tyler had already come back and sat down on the sofa. "I asked you to do me a small favor. It's no big deal. Why are you being so dramatic?"

Laney glanced at him, she had a playful expression on her face. "Tyler, you are the one who's being dramatic! Help is help. If you're still not aware of your personality, how are you going to get yourself a girl?"
