"I..." Heinz hesitated, opening his mouth to speak but no words came out.

"Just say it." Grace couldn't hold herself back anymore. The more hesitant he was, the more insecure she felt.

Heinz was deep in his thoughts. Just as he was about to speak, the phone rang, interrupting him.

Grace realized that it was her phone.

She paused, "Hold on."

She was taken aback when she looked at the caller ID. "Heinz, it's the Smith family. It's the previous landline of my home."

"Pick up the call!" Heinz said in a low voice.

Grace quickly accepted the call.

Marry's voice came as soon as the call connected.

"Grace, save me! Simon wants to kill me."

"What?" Grace's first instinct was to doubt her words.

"Simon wants to kill me. Please help me, I'm really going to die," Marry pleaded. "I'll tell you now, your other son... He's not dead. If you save me, I'll tell you where he is." "W-what? Are you serious?" Grace thought she had misheard something.

"Please help me." After that, the call was cut off.

"Marry? Marry?" Grace held the phone and looked at Heinz. "Sh*t, Marry's asking for help. She said that Simon wants to kill her."

"This may be one of her tricks," Heinz said. "We already know what kind of a person she is. Don't worry about her."

"No!" Grace shook her head. "Heinz, send someone over to take care of Little Gary. We're going over now, I must see Marry! I have something urgent to ask her."

Seeing that Grace was so anxious, Heinz frowned and nodded. He immediately called Alex, "Alex, let the bodyguards take care of Little Gary. Arrange a few more men to follow me to the Smith Villa." "Yes, sir!"

A few minutes later, the bodyguards arrived.

Once they were settled with everything, Heinz and Grace headed out. Alex was waiting downstairs.

The car raced through the dark streets. Heinz gave Jensen a call and said, "Jensen, arrange for two policemen to visit the Smith villa. Something may have happened to Marry." "What happened?"

"I'm not sure yet. With the police here, it'll be easier for us to enter," Heinz said.

With the police present, entering the house was legal.

"Okay, I'll bring Alice over."

Twenty minutes later.

At the Smith Villa.

Jensen arrived first with Alice, with Heinz and Grace reaching soon after.

After they met up, Jensen took out his work permit and handed it to the security guard. "The police received a call for help. There may have been a murder."

"That's impossible." The guard immediately denied, "It's very peaceful here. Nothing's going on."

"Arrest him," Jensen ordered.

"Yes, sir!"

Two men quickly cuffed the guard to prevent him from reporting to Simon.

At that moment, Marry's arms were covered in wounds.

She had managed to break the glass and cut the rope with great difficulty. The rope was stained with blood, making it appear even more frightening.

However, she was caught red-handed by Simon right after she headed downstairs to make a call.

She couldn't do anything as he and Sonia were making love upstairs. Her heart felt as if it was cut into two.

She had managed to escape when the both of them headed towards the bathroom for a shower, but she was caught right after.

Fortunately, she had called for help. She just didn't know whether Grace would actually come.

Simon slapped her hard and snarled, "You b*tch, do you want to die?"

"F**k you!" Marry was on the verge of becoming mad after being tortured by him endlessly. She screamed as she continued to struggle. "How could you still torture me while f**king some other b*tch? Simon, you really are heartless."

"Slap!"

Simon slapped her in the face again.

Marry was thrown onto the ground in an instant. She collapsed on the floor, staring at him with a pained expression.

He glanced at her with disgust, his eyes filled with disdain. He squatted down, water dripping from his wet hair; the droplets fell onto her body.

She shivered.

"I can't believe you managed to get rid of the rope," Simon sneered. "Should I get you an iron chain next time? I would like to see you escaping from that."

Fortunately, he did not realize that she had called for help.

Marry sighed in relief in her heart. However, she didn't know whether Grace would come or not. In order to ask for help, she went as far as to claim that the child was still alive.

This hellish life of hers had finally made her come to her senses.

In reality, Simon was the villain. She had finally admitted that she married the wrong person.

She would not hide the truth of Grace's child anymore.

It was also the condition for Grace to come to save her. Even if Grace wouldn't come for Marry, she would probably come for her child.

Marry could only endure the pain as she looked at the man in front of her.

"Simon, if you keep forcing me like this, I'll tell Grace about her child."

Simon suddenly tensed. He chuckled, "What?"

"I'll tell her that it was you who wanted to take her child away from her, and that it was you who wanted to separate the two of them." Marry shouted out breathlessly.

Coincidentally, Grace, Heinz, Jensen, and Alice all by the door and heard her words.

They were all stunned.

Grace was completely shocked. She immediately reached out to stop anyone from moving.

Inside the house, Simon's eyes narrowed slightly as he recalled the time when the child was born five years ago.

The memory flooded into his mind, and his eyes couldn't help but turn red in anger.

He returned when Grace was in labor.

That day, he happened to be outside the delivery room.

Marry was waiting for Grace to give birth.

As soon as Simon saw her, his face fell. "Marry, why did you only tell me that she was pregnant now?"

Marry raised her head slowly. The corners of her mouth twitched. "Grace didn't want to tell you. What could you do even if you knew about it? Simon, it's not your child. It's the child of her and another man." "Who on earth is he?" Simon growled. His eyes were bloodshot.

Marry faltered, meeting his gaze with tears in her eyes. "I don't know."

"Wah! Wahl" The child's loud sobs came from the delivery room.

Marry looked over and said, "She has given birth."

Simon's eyes turned red and his eyebrows were tightly knit. He clenched his fists.

Then came another loud cry. The cries of the two children could be heard from the delivery room.

"Both of them have been born," Marry said.

Simon's arms hung helplessly by his side, his fists clenched tightly.

Marry turned to look at him, and her eyes fell on his clenched fists. After a pause, she said quietly, "Two children. Grace is only twenty years old. Her future is officially ruined."

Simon suddenly turned to Marry, who was looking at him.

Simon looked into her eyes with resolve. He stated calmly, "The child has to go."

"That would end Grace," Marry replied in a low voice.

"No, it won't," Simon said. "For Grace's sake, the child must be taken away."

Marry clicked her tongue and asked, "Simon, you still can't forget her, can you?"

Simon couldn't answer her.

Marry took a deep breath, "You regret that you've married me."

"Marry." Simon growled, "Don't ever bring that up again."

"But I can see that you still can't forget Grace." She smiled bitterly. "Otherwise, you wouldn't have left right after the day we got married, and you wouldn't have only returned by now." "Are you blaming me for it?" Simon questioned.

Marry smiled mockingly at herself. "No."

Simon narrowed his eyes and locked her gaze. "Marry, I will take responsibility for you, but I need time."

Marry paused. When she looked at him once again, there was a glimmer of hope in her eyes.

She suddenly agreed. "Okay then. I'll take care of Grace's child."

She stared at him deeply before turning around to head to the doctor's office.

Her sharp heels clicked against the floor as she went on her way.

In the operating room.

The nurse glanced at the two children, "Miss Smith, we will let your sister take care of the babies. Are you fine with that?"

"Of course," Grace smiled weakly. "If it's her, I'm fine with it."

An hour later.

After waking up, Grace was shocked to see another pair of eyes right as she opened hers.

"Simon?"

Simon's eyes were filled with agony. Right as he met her gaze, he averted his.

"Yes," he answered in a hoarse voice.

The corner of Grace's lips twitched. "Where's my child?"

Simon stiffened.

"Here he is," Marry immediately took her child and showed him to her.

Grace looked down at him. Her baby was absolutely adorable, with his pink cheeks and tiny face.

"Marry, what about the other one?" Grace asked.

Marry froze and looked at Simon instinctively.

"Marry?" Grace repeated, her eyes searching for any signs of her child but to no avail.

She started to panic. "Marry, where is my other child?"

Marry said, "Grace, listen to me. The child... He's dead."
