"Impossible. How can she not even spare one sentence for me?" Simon muttered to himself. "How can she be so cruel?"

Lester couldn't help but click his tongue. Marry and Simon really were a shameless couple. How dare Simon still have thoughts about her after hurting Grace like that. "I've never seen someone as shameless as him," Lester thought to himself.

Lester urged him on. "Hurry up and get in the car. I'll send you away. We still need to sleep."

Simon was pushed out of the room and was escorted up from the basement by bodyguards. He glanced at the brightly lit villa with bitterness in his eyes.

Suddenly, he shouted. "Grace, come out. Grace, you had better come out."

Lester immediately frowned and gave him a look.

The bodyguard in front immediately knocked Simon out with a karate-chop. Then, they dragged him into the car.

Alex led Marry out from behind and they got into a huge car.

Seeing Simon being dragged away, Marry's eyes were full of resentment. However, a small part of her still harbored feelings for him.

She loved him, but his heart was never hers to begin with.

Why did reality have to be so cruel?

Simon's feelings were all given to Grace. His ruthlessness, coldness and heartlessness were all given to her instead.

However, she still loved him.

Marry loved him with all her heart. She had been in love with Simon for her entire life. But now, both of them were handcuffed. She could only feel despair. Marry also got into the car.

In the villa, Grace heard Simon shouting but she ignored it.

Heinz stole a glance at her. He had thought that Simon's shout would've elicited some sort of reaction from her, but she wasn't even bothered in the slightest.

It seemed that Grace had absolutely no feelings for Simon anymore.

Heinz finally felt relieved.

He knew that he was being petty, but he couldn't help it.

The car drove off quickly.

At a place not far off from the villa.

Lester said to the driver, "Stop the car ahead. I need to relieve myself. Do any of you need to as well?"

"Let's go," the rest of the men echoed.

"Okay." Lester gave Alex a command.

Everyone got out of the car and went into the woods on the mountain road to relieve themselves.

In a flash, there was no one else in the car.

As soon as Marry noticed that no one else was around her, she immediately became alert. There was something wrong here.

They had escorted her and Simon away. How could they have all left together without leaving anyone behind?

At least one person should have been left behind to keep watch over them.

Marry's nudged Simon with her leg. Finally, he woke up and felt a stinging pain in his neck. He shook his head and realized that he was in a car with Marry in front of him. Apart from that, there was no one else.

He frowned and asked, "Where am I?"

"I don't know," Marry looked at him, then averted her gaze. She said, "They're taking a p*ss. Let's run away."

Simon was shocked. He looked around to confirm her words. There really wasn't anyone around.

How could it be?

He was surprised. There was no one to be seen around and there weren't even cars that passed by. Maybe it was because it was in the middle of the night.

He paused. "Yes, we have to escape, but don't follow me."

It was Marry's turn to pause in surprise. She stared at him and asked, "Even now, you still refuse to even escape with me?"

"Yes," Simon admitted and quickly turned to the door. His hands were handcuffed, so he could only open the door with both hands. He got out of the car without looking back.

Resentment flashed through Marry's eyes. "Simon, you're so cruel," she thought. She had initially wanted to test him. If only he had said that he wanted to escape with her, she would've told him that it was a trap.

However, since he refused to even bring her along with him, she no longer had to care about him. Despite the fact that she loved him with all her heart, she also despised him with her entire being.

He would get what he deserved.

Marry sat in the car and did not move.

Simon got out of the car and crouched down. He scanned his surroundings and saw that there was still no one around. Meanwhile, Marry did not get out of the car.

Simon ran to the back of the car and went into the woods by the road.

At that moment, Marry closed the car door and locked it.

He had entered the woods, and in a moment of seconds, he heard the sound of barking.

There were dogs.

He suddenly realized something. When he looked back, he saw Marry in the car. The car door was closed, and there was no one beside her.

Four pairs of green eyes emerged from the woods, charging straight for him.

They were getting closer and closer.

With his hands bound, Simon could only turn back and run.

He climbed up the highway quickly, but at that time, the dogs had caught up with him.

One of them pounced directly on him and pressed him down against the ground.

He could hear the heavy breathing of the dog by his ears. It opened its mouth wide and saliva dripped down onto Simon's neck.

In an instant, he had goosebumps all over his skin.

The dog growled.

Simon was so scared that he lost all the strength in his limbs.

He could barely move in that position. There was still another dog nearby and it looked to be the same size as the one on top of him.

He almost thought that the dog would bite off his neck.

"Help!" Simon couldn't help but scream.

No one came out.

Marry watched the whole scene unfold before her from afar. She felt a slight sense of fear in her heart.

Fortunately, she hadn't gone out. If she did, the dog would eat her up too.

A dog bit down on Simon's ear.

"Ah!" Simon let out a deafening scream.

One of his ears was torn off and it was in a bloody mess.

He almost fainted from the pain.

The other dog also pounced on Simon and sunk his teeth down on his leg. The two dogs attacked him ferociously, leaving him with no hopes of escaping at all.

Simon was so scared that he forgot to react. The dog that bit off his ear stared at him, as if to mock him.

As soon as he had the chance, he immediately got up and ran towards the car with the dogs chasing after him.

He fell and leaned against the side of the car, banging on the window with all his strength. "Marry, open the door! Save me!"

Marry gazed at him at the door with tears welling up in her eyes and shook her head.

Simon's face was a mess of blood and flesh. He could only gape at Marry in disbelief.

He looked at her and repeated, "Save me!"

Marry opened the window just enough for him to hear her voice.

"Simon, you deserve it. You treated me like trash and now you're getting attacked by dogs. You b*stard, how could you do this to me? I've loved you so much and gave you almost all I had, but how did you treat me?" Marry's cheeks were stained with tears. "You even refused to escape with me just now. You've finally gotten what you deserve."
