True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 584
The scattered ashes filled the air, causing everyone to choke.
Maxim's eyes widened as his entire body shook. "You! Ugh!"
He coughed up a mouthful of blood.
"Ah, Master Lowe." The butler was frightened. "Calm down, please calm down."
Eva froze when she saw that her father had vomited blood. She stubbornly pursed her lips and her eyes were shining with tears. She lifted her chin and snorted, "Dad, it's game over now."
Just then, both Zachary and Heinz also arrived at the mansion. Looking at the scene in front of him, Zachary narrowed his eyes. His gaze was as sharp as a knife.
Heinz hissed lowly, "Oh no, this woman is crazy."
"Grandpa!" Zachary quickly ran towards Maxim.
There were blood stains around the comers of Maxim's mouth. His face was as pale as a sheet. He stared blankly at the ashes fluttering in front of him, reaching out his hand in an attempt to grab them. However, the ashes had totally spread out in the air, diving into even the smallest of cracks. How could he catch any of it?
The dust had long been blown away by the wind and had scattered onto the ground.
Maxim's gaze was filled with shock and his heart ached as he gradually fell into despair.
The moment Zachary reached out to grab him, he saw the despair in Maxim's eyes.
Zachary's body trembled slightly as he frowned. He suddenly realized that this might be a fatal blow to his grandfather.
He suddenly couldn't bear to see him like this.
"Zachary!" Maxim held Zachary's hand tightly and apologized for the first time in his life, "I'm sorry!"
Zachary was stunned. Only then did he realize that his actions had unmistakably hurt his grandfather.
Facing the despair and genuine apology from Maxim, he found it a little hard to hold himself back. He wanted to tell him that these were not the real ashes. However, what was the point of doing so?
How would he deal with the lifelong regrets of his grandmother and father?
"Ugh!"
Maxim couldn't help spitting out another mouthful of blood.
"Call 911." Zachary immediately ordered the butler. "No; after calling emergency services, tell them to prepare. We will send Grandpa to the hospital personally."
"Yes!" The butler understood that Maxim was in grave danger and they had to act fast. He shouted at the staff, "Hurry up and make the call."
Meanwhile, Eva was still shouting, "I want to see what will happen. After this woman's ashes have been scattered, will she still be able to cause rifts in the Lowe family?"
Heinz glared at her, his gaze cold and piercing as he spoke, "Grandma has already passed away. However, you still have a life to live. I also want to see what will happen and what kind of rifts you can cause."
Eva was shocked.
She looked at Heinz.
Heinz narrowed his eyes and glared sternly at Eva. She could sense the murderous intent under his calm expression.
Eva pursed her lips and raised her chin. She refused to admit defeat and said, "You don't have the right to speak here. This is the Lowe family."
"You are the one who is digging your own grave." Heinz was also infuriated. There was a sinister smile on his face as he walked towards Eva.
"Don't come over!" Eva was terrified by the murderous aura around Heinz and she immediately tried to turn around.
She had probably forgotten that she was standing on the edge of the flower bed, which was full of thorny roses.
Without a second thought, she turned around in a panic and fell directly into the flower bed.
As her face fell towards the ground, it happened to get caught on the rose bushes. The prickly thorns began to scratch her face and she immediately let out a shrill scream. "Ah, help! Help! My face, help me up!"
The servants all looked at Maxim.
Maxim spat out two mouthfuls of blood in a row and he couldn't speak. He had already lost all patience for his daughter.
Zachary glanced at them coldly. The servants did not dare to move.
Everyone's gaze was filled with fear.
This was instant karma.
Right after Eva dropped the urn, she fell into the rose bushes.
Heinz stood two meters away from the flower bed and looked at Eva, who was lying in the rose bushes. His eyes were filled with contempt.
Eva struggled to get up.
However, the more she struggled, the more the thorns pricked her body. There were several deep wounds on her face, large and ugly, ripped by the old thorns at the bottom of the rose bush.
She did not dare to move, and she was only able to lie there and scream loudly, "Help, help!"
However, no one paid any attention to her.
"Go prepare the car," Zachary instructed the butler.
"Yes!" The butler immediately arranged for a comfortable car to send Maxim for emergency treatment.
While Eva was screaming for help, everyone was busy moving Maxim into the car. Then, they heard Donald's yelling from the doorway. "What's going
on? Eva, what's wrong? Dad, what happened?"
Zachary stood at the side of the car and replied, "Uncle Donald, Aunt Eva has broken the urn containing my grandma's ashes and spilled them in the yard. Right after that, she immediately got her karma and fell into the rose bushes. Grandpa was so angry that he vomited blood. Now you have to go to the hospital with me to take care of Grandpa."
"What?" Donald was shocked. He looked at Maxim who was lying in the car, and then at Eva who was lying in the rose bushes, "What about Eva?"
"You can just ignore her," Zachary answered, "It's just a few thorns. Grandpa is in grave danger. I'm sure you don't want to be called a disloyal child, right?"
Donald paused. He looked at the flower bed, the servants and then at Zachary. He finally said, "I'll go to the emergency room with you."
He quickly got into the car.
Zachary looked at Heinz and said, "Heinz, take care of the situation here."
Heinz nodded and said, "Don't worry. You can leave this to me."
He blinked at Zachary, giving him a sly look.
Zachary understood what he meant in an instant, and nodded with relief, letting Heinz deal with Eva however he wanted. The car left.
Eva was still lying in the rose bushes and screaming, "Donald, help me. Hurry up and help me. Don't go; help me!"
Heinz waved at Alex, who was at the main gate. Alex quickly ran in and stood in front of Heinz.
After Heinz whispered a few words into his ear. Alex nodded and immediately turned away to leave.
Heinz stepped onto the flower bed and looked at Eva. He then started slowly, "Do you want to get up?"
"Mr. Jones, please save me," Eva pleaded in a panic. "I'm begging you, please save me."
"You've done all kinds of wicked things. If I save you, won't you just do more harm to others?" Heinz retorted sarcastically. "I think it's better for you to die in these rose bushes for the sake of Zachary's grandmother."
"No, please, I know that I was wrong." Eva shook her head subconsciously and she was immediately scratched by the rose thorns again. She cried out in pain, "It hurts, it hurts! Help me! Help me! My whole body hurts!"
Heinz lifted the corner of his lips and a look of scorn flashed across his handsome face. "If it didn't hurt that much, how could you ever understand the pain of others?"
