She stood on the spot and pursed her lips. A pair of bright eyes flashed and she said softly, "Then, you take care, too." Jensen nodded and replied, "Yes, you too."

Alice lowered her eyes. "I'm going to pack up my things. I'll take them all with me later."

Jensen was stunned and said softly, "Well, you can go and pack up then. When you are done, I will send you there."

Alice immediately shook her head and said, "No, I can go back by myself. I don't have much stuff. Go and have a rest. You look very tired."

Jensen stood where he was, with no expression on his face. He spoke calmly, his voice magnetic and hoarse, calm and unruffled, then he told her, "I still have to go to work. I will see you off along the way." His words made Alice stiffen again. She nodded in response. "Well, then thank you."

Alice didn't know what to say, so she quickly turned around and walked into the house. Her eyes blurred and she couldn't see anything; she almost bumped into the door.

After regaining her composure, she reached for the door and walked into the bedroom.

Behind her, Jensen was looking at her retreating back, with the same watery light in his eyes.

His hand clenched into a fist at his side.

He held back his impulses and did not move forward.

He knew that it was not the right time.

Alice entered the bedroom and looked at the familiar environment in front of her. After staying there for a while, she realized that she still had feelings for this place.

She could no longer hold back the bitterness in her heart. She squatted on the ground, hugged herself and cried out loud.

She didn't expect that she was the one who would suffer the most when she was the one who proposed to break up.

After crying for a while, she got up silently. This cry was just for show.

She didn't want to become unreasonable.

Alice got up and went to pack up her clothes, packing them all into a big bag.

In fact, she didn't buy many clothes. On one hand, Jensen was a state employee, so he didn't have much money to buy things for her. Not only that but her financial situation wasn't exactly the best, so she couldn't really buy too much for herself.

Therefore, although she had been living there for a few months, one big bag was enough to carry all her things.

After packing up, she quickly carried it on her back and walked towards the door.

When she opened the door, she saw Jensen sitting on the sofa, leaning slightly against the back of it. Jensen lifted one of his arms and gently held his chin.

Alice walked over. Just as she was about to speak, she suddenly realized that his eyes were closed.

It seemed that he had fallen asleep.

Alice immediately remembered that he looked very tired just now. She knew that he was exhausted but she didn't expect him to be quite so tired.

Alice looked at him and could not bear to wake him up.

However, it would be easy for him to catch a cold if he slept like this.

She put down the bag, turned around and went into the bedroom. She took out a thin blanket from inside and gently covered Jensen with it.

Suddenly, someone clutched her wrist tightly and her whole body fell into his arms as if she was weightless.

Alice was so frightened that she was tongue-tied.

One of his hands wrapped around her wrist, while the other wrapped around her slender waist. It was as if he was trying to conquer her with domineering shackles.

The pair of deep eyes opened and the bloodshot look in them made him look extremely tired.

He stared deeply at Alice and did not say anything, but his eyes were as deep as the sea.

She was sitting on his lap. If she wasn't mistaken, she seemed to be approaching that place where the thing was.

Alice was very embarrassed. When she noticed her situation, she was very embarrassed. She bit her lips and said weakly, "Jensen!"

Staring at the red lips and hearing at his name that came out of her smooth mouth, he narrowed his eyes, a flame of anger burning in them. He suddenly lowered his head and blocked her lips. At that moment, Jensen knew in his heart that he was doomed.

The fire hadn't been lit yet.

But he couldn't stand it anymore.

He knew that no matter in terms of personality, habits, or other aspects, it was not the right thing to do at that moment. What he sought was a lifetime, not for a moment. However, at that moment, he couldn't help it.

He didn't know what kind of entanglement and pain it would bring if he let her go.

At that moment, his heart was empty. It was not until he kissed her that he felt that his heart was full.

"Jensen, mmmh!"

Jensen's whole body stiffened. He opened his eyes and looked at her at such a close distance. His eyes were full of emotion.

He deepened the kiss again.

Alice frowned and she was also very annoyed.

Jensen didn't care about anything. He carried Alice up and walked into the bedroom.

Alice was scared.

However, in the next second, she was unable to resist.

The only thing she could remember was that she was suddenly under Jensen as the quilt covered the both of them, their clothes strewn messily about the side of their bed.

When the phone rang, Alice froze. It was only then that she realized what they were doing.

She suddenly felt very resistant and reached out to push him away. "Jensen, your phone is ringing."

It might be a phone call from the hospital or his office.

Alice was afraid that it would be a pity to miss out on any one of them and it wasn't the best time for them to be intimate.

But for Jensen, he just could not let her go.

Especially at that moment when he had already prepared for everything.

Reaching out his hand, he touched the phone and glanced at it. He hung up directly and turned it off.

His voice was gone, but he still held Alice's hand and looked down at her, with fire burning in his eyes.

Alice also looked at him in horror. She bit her lips and did not dare to make a sound.

Jensen still did not speak as he stared at her.

Alice felt very uncomfortable. She was very embarrassed and said in a voice as light as a mosquito, "Jensen, this is not right." Jensen was obviously stunned. He darkened his eyes and said in a rough voice, "Is it still important to tell the right from the wrong?"

Alice was also stunned and looked at him in a daze.

The threat was imminent.

She couldn't cope with it and she found out that she seemed to have had a breakthrough ever since the intimate incident happened in Southland City. Everything worked out fine.

She took a breath. "Jensen!"

"That's what I want to do now!" He proved his determination with his actions, conquering the enemy in one stroke.

Alice could no longer speak.

When Jensen's sweat poured out, there were too many emotions surging in Alice's heart.

Why did it become like this?

She couldn't control herself, which made her feel ashamed.

She was not in the mood to think about it carefully, because she was completely following Jensen's rhythm. He did not give her any chance to wait at all. She only felt that as time passed by little by little, her mind was in a mess.

She couldn't think rationally anymore.

When she finally woke up, she slowly opened her eyes and saw Jensen's handsome face. His whole face was solemn and cold. Seeing her staring at him, he did not avoid her gaze and stared back at her. Their eyes met.

At that moment, Alice's heart tightened and an indescribable emotion welled up in her heart.

Above the white clouds, the feeling of looking up at the sky made her couldn't help calling his name again.

"Jensen!"

"I am here! You are not allowed to leave. Be my woman!"
