True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 802
Alice looked at Jensen, and their eyes met each other, oozing with joyous feelings.
Alice said seriously, "Jensen, I too have always wanted to tell you my innermost thoughts before we get married. It's so that you know my thoughts about you, as well as my appreciation and gratitude towards you from the bottom of my heart."
Jensen's eyes widened, slightly stunned. He did not expect that Alice would say that. He shook his head and said.
"I don't want your thanks. I'm willing to do anything for you, and that's due to my feelings for you. I don't want anything in return for that. Maybe I'm selfish because I want all of your love. I want you to love me wholeheartedly without considering any other men. I hope that you can't live without me. This is my selfishness."
Alice put her hands on his arm, saying excitedly and nervously, "Jensen, listen. Although you approached me with a hidden motive at first, I can feel your patience towards me. You must know that I'm a very sensitive person after the psychological trauma."
"Only I know how much patience you have in order to get close to me, to approach me, and to accept me."
"In addition to that, how responsible you've been as well, trying hard to make up for the harm that you've done to me previously."
"I can feel all of these entirely when we are together."
"I know you're a responsible man."
"Just like what had happened six years ago. In fact, there must be many who have experienced the same thing, after a one-night stand, just to be forgotten and to be disposed of. They' re irresponsible and would never think of it again."
"Even if they've seen each other's faces, they could still act like total strangers, merely regarding it as an encounter to distract themselves from loneliness."
"You don't have to take responsibility either, but you couldn't stand your own conscience. You came to me and took accountability for what you've done."
"I knew you were a kind person then, and I'm very happy and lucky to marry you."
"Plus, I knew that your mother wouldn't accept me, but we're still getting married thanks to your determination."
"I know very well that you're a terribly brave and courageous man."
"Why wouldn't I marry such a man?"
Hearing Alice's unexpected words, Jensen was extremely moved in his heart. His girl was all grown up.
His patience throughout these trying times was not in vain.
He knew that Alice would grow up and she would understand all of his efforts.
"Alice, you're a very good girl. You know that?" Jensen said sincerely with a huge grin.
Alice smiled slightly and continued. "Jensen, I still have a lot to say. Please let me finish them all at once."
"Go on, then." He grinned, intrigued and amused.
Alice nodded. "Yes, Jensen, listen. Your mother doesn't agree with our marriage. Although I feel sad and sorry, I still want to get married."
Jensen winced slightly at that sentence. Looking at her apologetic and remorseful eyes, he couldn't bear it and said, "It's my fault. I should have persuaded her better."
"No, Jensen. It's fair. My mother has approved of you. Although I don't care what my mother had said, it's fair. Therefore, don't feel sorry for me. I shouldn't feel sorry for you either."
Although he was still hurt over his mother's refusal, Alice's words brought him warmth and strength. He hugged her tightly and whispered, "Alice, you are really good to me." "Jensen, I promise you too that I'll be a good wife. I'll be loyal to you and to our relationship and marriage."
"Regarding your mother, you can be rest assured I won't go out of my way to hurt her feelings. However, if she intends to hurt me, I may fight back. I'll try to stay on her good side and be careful not to say something unpleasant unless the need arises."
"I may not be able to keep calm and not fight back even when she scolds me, but I promise that I won't hit her. That's what I can do. In short, I won't cross certain lines."
"I'll try my best to make her accept me too. Will you believe me?"
"Of course! If I don't believe you, how could I marry you?" Jensen nodded and said.
In this regard, Jensen was convinced. He knew that Alice was a very kind girl.
She had stood up and contributed so much to her sister. She would fiercely and easily do the same for Jensen.
No matter how unpleasant Jensen's mother was, Alice would still try to like her and get along for his sake.
"Alice, thank you for telling me this."
These were all careful considerations for their future life. It was not something easy to do at all.
She was still so young.
Alice had a bashful smile and said, "Thank you for marrying me, Jensen. I know that I'm a bad girl. I'm difficult to deal with. I'm sensitive, suspicious, and sometimes very impulsive." Jensen shook his head. "No, you're great. You always have been."
"Jensen, I know for sure that you can understand and tolerate me. There's no reason for us not to get married. Jensen, let's get married, okay?"
Jensen beamed with delight, grinning ear to ear. He said mischievously with the pride of a man, "Of course! I've been waiting for this day for a long time. When we get our wedding certificate in the future, we'll be able to make love righteously without any hindrance."
"Oh! What's wrong with you? Why are you saying that again?" Alice's face turned red as she replied awkwardly.
Looking at her cute blushing face, Jensen smiled and said again, "Of course, there is nothing in this world more honorable than sleeping with my own wife. Although you are the only one I have, I still hope to sleep with you legitimately."
"I'll ignore you if you keep talking like that!" Alice said and pushed him shyly, but Jensen grasped her hand.
He looked at her keenly. With a slight force, he pulled her into his arms and embraced her tightly.
His hot breath landed on Alice's face as he whispered in a husky voice, "Why are you shy again since we are about to get married? Do you know how turned on I am when you are like that?" Upon hearing his words, Alice's face reddened even more. Jensen stretched out his hand gently to hold her face in front of his.
Alice complemented Jensen's sharp features, familiar face, and his resolute figure. He lowered his head and stared deeply at Alice while holding her delicate chin. He said in a gruff voice, "You and I are going to get married and yet you're still so shy?"
Alice hesitated for a while, then she mustered up her courage and said, "This is not our place. Be careful, don't be too impetuous. Do you understand, Officer Charm?"
Looking at her, Jensen nodded. He narrowed his eyes and said sincerely, "Alice, I can't provide you a luxurious life. I'm very sorry that I can't even afford to buy our own house. I really want to thank you for choosing to marry me."
