Grace was also stunned. She hadn't expected for Timothy to show up here.

It seemed that he was also in control of everything, which was why he appeared there.

She subconsciously looked at Heinz.

He also naturally understood the emotions in Grace's gaze and understood what she meant. It was very surprising that Timothy would appear here.

"Who are you?" Lawrence felt that something was off. Seeing Timothy's tall and straight figure, he frowned and seemed to have a bad feeling.

Timothy was already in front of him. Both of them stood together, and their auras were obviously very strong. However, Timothy was young, with a cold face and angular facial features. On the other hand, Lawrence, with the grey hairs on his forehead, appeared older.

The two men looked at each other. Both of them were extremely shocked and had some emotions in their hearts.

"I'm Timothy Yarbrough," he said in a deep voice. "Grace's father, and Candace's first love."

Lawrence was stunned for a moment, and his body swayed again.

When Grace told him about this earlier, it was unexpected and unbelievable, and his heart still carried some doubt. However, at that moment, seeing the man in front of him, his confidence was instantly shattered.

He was pretty much certain that this was absolutely the type that Candace liked.

He had also gotten some understanding of her over the years. She did like this type of man very much.

When the two of them were together, every time there was a man like Timothy, Candace would subconsciously take a few glances, and the emotion in her eyes was a kind of longing. Sometimes, she was clearly facing him, yet he didn't know where her gaze truly was.

This type of absent-mindedness was too obvious.

Did she not love him?

This was the first time Lawrence had asked himself such a question.

Had Candace never loved him?

Then, why did she give birth to Lowell with him, and why did she treat him so gently?

His eyes were filled with shock as he looked at Timothy who was in front of him. He stared at him in disbelief and asked, "What's your proof?"

"Grace is my daughter," Timothy said in a low voice. "Candace admitted it personally. There's a recording to prove it."

Timothy had secretly recorded it with his mobile phone beforehand.

As soon as he said that, all of them were stunned.

Grace also tried to calm down. She was a little stunned and looked at Timothy in surprise. Although his appearance had helped her and Heinz, and he had upset Lawrence with his oppressing aura, this matter was still very annoying.

He had even recorded it. It seemed that Timothy was also a powerful character. He was cunning enough.

The charm of a middle-aged man was not only his courage, but also his brain.

He was planning a strategy; he was scheming.

Grace was secretly shocked. Standing by Heinz's side, she didn't say a word.

She could not bring herself to express her feelings towards this man whom she could not yet prove was her father.

"Even if there is a recording, I won't believe it," Lawrence said in a low voice. "Recordings can be faked!"

"Grace and I both have Rh negative blood," Timothy said in a low voice. "Let's listen to Candace's voice."

As he said that, Timothy turned on his mobile phone and played the recording right away.

It was a conversation between him and Candace.

"You finally admitted it. Grace is my daughter, right?"

"Yes, she's your daughter. She's the daughter I had with you. I didn't miscarry. I didn't want to miscarry."

"What about that blood? What on earth is going on with that blood that you showed me?"

"I was bleeding because of the implantation, not because of a miscarriage."

"I got the medicine, but I didn't take it."

"You married Anderson while carrying my child?"

"If I hadn't married him, would you have married me?"

Hearing the conversation from the phone, Grace and Heinz were shocked. Lawrence staggered and almost lost his balance.

He knew that it was indeed Candace's voice in the recording. She actually said that to another man.

Had she ever loved him?

Lawrence suddenly found that he was like a statue. He looked at Timothy without saying a word, quietly staring until Candace's voice came over the phone again.

"I once fantasized that I would be with you from beginning to end, until I grow grey hair from old age!"

The scattered audio was all part of their conversation. It was so clear. It conveyed the meaning to Grace and Heinz, and even more so to Lawrence.

There were so many messages in these conversations.

It was truly unexpected and shocking.

When Lawrence heard the end of the conversation, he suddenly curled his lips into a mocking smile and said, "Enough! Don't play it anymore!"

"You can't even stand listening to a conversation between her and I. If you see everything, wouldn't it be even more unbearable?" Timothy said in a low voice.

"You!"

Lawrence saw his calm face and looked at him. Timothy's eyes were cold and there was a hint of irony on his lips, as if Lawrence's actions all these years were just a joke. He was instantly furious, and his chest was full of rage.

It turned out that he had been set up by Candace. It turned out that he was just a tool for her to keep loneliness at bay.

All these years, the emotions he had been so proud of were just a joke. The most beautiful love he had once firmly believed in was so ridiculous.

That woman had never loved him.

He had been misled.

No!

That was not true.

Lawrence could not believe what he had heard. Even now, he felt that what he had heard was not true.

Timothy didn't play all of the recording, and turned off his phone.

He had already let Lawrence hear the most important parts. That was enough.

"Is this enough to explain the problem?" Timothy asked back coldly.

Lawrence looked at him angrily and said coldly, "Are you here to laugh at me?"

"No! You're overthinking it," Timothy said plainly. With a sense of superiority, he said, "I came for my daughter. I heard that the news about her before was plotted by you and Candace. Since you're the one who caused all of this, I think you should give us an explanation."

Lawrence was slightly startled and narrowed his eyes.

Timothy raised his voice and said, "At this moment, we're all men, so there is no need to hide it any longer. The first thing is to confess. How much do you have to do with the news?"

"I don't know," Lawrence said coldly. "What you said has nothing to do with me."

Timothy smiled gently and said, "You dare to do it, but you don't dare to admit it. Maybe this is the reason Candace can't be true to you."

"What did you say?" Lawrence's anger instantly flared up. "I dare to do it, but don't dare to admit it?" "If you're a true man, you will admit what you've done," Timothy said again.

"I didn't do it," Lawrence said sternly. "It has nothing to do with me. I know Aaron, Jodie and Henry, but it has nothing to do with me, believe it or not."

Heinz furrowed his brows and looked at him. "Candace admitted that she did it, yet you're still not willing to admit to your role?"
