True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 887
"Go look for whoever admitted it then!" Lawrence said coldly.
"I really don't know about this. I've told you so many times that I don't know. You don't have to ask me."
Heinz frowned again. "It seems that you still don't want to admit it."
"I said I don't know." Lawrence still had the same attitude. It was obvious that he didn't know.
Heinz subconsciously looked at Timothy.
Timothy was not in a hurry. He simply gave Lawrence a plain glance and said, "Old Mr. Jones, if you don't want to admit it, you must have your own concerns, but you said it was Candace who did it. I don't think she has the ability to complete such a plan alone."
Hearing what he said, Lawrence's face was full of anger. "You don't have to act so victorious in front of me. You're not the winner. There probably isn't an actual winner. We're just tools to be used by that woman. What right do you have to show off in front of me?"
"You're misunderstanding." Timothy raised his eyebrows. "I never wanted to show off. Right now,
I just want to stand up for my daughter and uncover the ins and outs of this matter. Since you don't want to talk, you can leave now, but the truth will come out soon. When the time comes, it will be exposed to the world."
Heinz was stunned and immediately said, "We can't let him go."
"Let him go. Since he doesn't want to talk, why insist? All we get are answers we don't want." Timothy's attitude was very indifferent. "Just like when Candace left me, the truth was revealed after many years. She regretted leaving me very much. You see, sometimes you only realize that some things are best for you after you experience them."
Lawrence, who was about to leave, was suddenly stunned. He frowned and looked at Timothy. He couldn't stand his victorious attitude. However, he also understood that he was a loser that day, because the one Candace loved was not him. He was now doomed to be a joke.
He looked at Timothy and said coldly, "Candace is at your place, right?"
Timothy raised his eyebrows. It seemed that there was no way out.
He shifted his gaze to Heinz and exchanged a look with him.
"Yes, she's staying with Mr. Yarbrough," Heinz quickly said. "That was what she requested. There's nothing wrong with staying with her first love during her last moments. Anyway, it's Mr. Yarbrough she loves, not you."
Heinz's words stung Lawrence's heart again.
He felt even more pain at this moment. He looked at Heinz and squinted his eyes, coldly saying, "I want to see her!"
Upon hearing this, Heinz was not anxious at all. He said coldly, "Candace doesn't want to see you, nor do you need to see her. You two have nothing to do with each other. You were just together, and had a son. You're not even legally married."
This stung Lawrence's heart even further.
"Let's go." Heinz didn't want to pay attention to him anymore. He grabbed Timothy's arm and said, "Mr. Yarbrough, let's leave first."
"You can't go!" Lawrence said, suddenly blocking his way. "I've said that I want to see Candace. You have to let her see me, or else I won't let you have it easy."
"Who are you threatening?" Heinz sneered. "I don't accept your threat."
"You guys can go back first, and take Grace back to rest. I'll stay back to talk to Master Jones. If he really wants to see her, we can make time for a meeting tomorrow." Timothy looked at Heinz. Heinz immediately understood what he meant. There was a plan set to be in motion the next day, and it was Timothy's plan.
Heinz nodded calmly and said, "Alright. It's best that you plan it out, Mr. Yarbrough. We'll leave first."
As he said this, Heinz gave an order dismissing everyone.
He and Grace returned to the car.
Lowell looked at them and felt very worried. Then, he looked at Lawrence, who was outside the car, and pursed his lips.
"Do you want to go down and talk to your father about something?" Grace asked softly.
"No." Lowell understood her meaning, but he didn't want to say anything more to Lawrence.
That was because he was very clear that he would live with Grace and Heinz in the future, not that unreliable father.
"Grace, Heinz, let's go home," he said seriously again, looking at Heinz with hope in his eyes.
"Okay, let's go home." Heinz quickly took them back.
After arriving home, Jensen walked over to Heinz and said, "What do you think Mr. Yarbrough will say to Uncle Lawrence?" "He wants to smash the toughest barrier in my father's heart, and get him to tell us exactly what his relationship with Henry is," Heinz said. "But I think my father's last line of defense has not been completely destroyed."
"Since not everything you see is necessarily true, Mr. Yarbrough left a message afterwards, saying why don't we make time for a meeting during the day. I was thinking that it'd be good to let them meet during the day too, and let my father personally hear and see that everything is different now."
"You mean you want to let Mr. Yarbrough and Candace meet, and say some more passionate words, then let Uncle Lawrence know that Candace doesn't love him," Jensen analyzed. "Like this, maybe the last shred of toughness in his heart can be destroyed."
"Yes, that's what I mean. We need to make him completely understand that Candace has never loved him. Only in this way will he completely give up. Only when he is infuriated to a certain extent can he lose control and vent his anger, and in the end, he will reveal the secret regardless of everything," said Heinz.
"This is the way. For now, this is the only way."
"Go rest," Heinz said.
Thus, everyone went back to their rooms to have a rest.
Timothy and Lawrence were still by the sea.
In the middle of the night, both men were facing each other, neither of them saying a word.
Lawrence couldn't stand the long silence and was very agitated. He reached out and took a box of cigarettes from his pocket, pulled one out, and lit it. The faint smell of cigarettes came with the sea breeze. Timothy took a deep breath, took out a cigarette as well, and lit it. The two of them smoked silently, and neither of them were in a hurry to speak.
After a long time, Lawrence could no longer stand it and asked in a deep voice, "How did you and Candace get to know each other?"
"You can't maintain your composure, and want to ask about her past. It seems that you really care about her." Timothy took a deep breath, exhaled a puff of white smoke, and said, "You might not understand this woman. She's used to acting all her life and living with a mask on."
"You don't have to slander her in front of me. Don't speak ill of others," Lawrence said in a serious tone. "Don't tell me useless things." "When I met her, she was still a young lady, very young, about 18 or 19 years old. She was very beautiful." Timothy smiled slightly, and he could see an image of Candace from decades ago right in front of him. "She was very beautiful. She almost took my breath away."
