True Love
(Book 4) – Chapter 137

He could soothe her as well as alter her in the best way he could. It was delicious, but it was also getting dark, and the magic of that day was coming to an end. What would happen now? He had gotten what he wanted, would he keep looking for her after all they had shared, did she want him to? She wasn’t sure, to be honest.

The two of them were watching an interesting film about a girl who had escaped from prison, and a handsome young policeman was on the lookout for her. They were silent, but very much in each other’s arms, the night was a bit cold so they were both under a not very thick blanket, they were both wearing very few clothes as Antoni forbade him to wear them. It was a bit crazy, because whenever he looked at her he wanted to do a lot of things to her.

For her part it was fun, and she no longer felt any pain, after the second time it was much better than the first. And she felt full and satisfied, but her companion did not seem to be satiated. No matter how hard she tried to concentrate on the film, her lover’s naughty hands prevented her from doing so, he was touching her all over and in what a way, my goodness!

-You’re not interested in this film, are you?

-Of course I am, I replace it interesting.

-So why don’t you stop touching me?

-Is it because it’s hard for you to concentrate?

-Very hard!

-All right, we’ll call a truce. He said laughing.

-It’s getting late.

-Yes, I have a lot of work tomorrow. He said.

-Will you leave?

-I must, but I promise I will come to see you and take you to many beautiful places.

-You don’t have to.

-But I want to. He said, getting up.

She saw him go upstairs, she imagined he was going to get his dry clothes. She thought maybe he was just saying that so as not to make her feel bad. Well, well, she couldn’t go through life always thinking badly. Maybe he was serious, but how were they going to solve the little detail that she belonged in Greece, she doubted he would want to go and live in the United States like his mother did, Antoni was a businessman and he wasn’t the kind of guy who would drop everything for a woman.

Besides, she wouldn’t ask him either, that was her life, her family’s legacy. Whereas she couldn’t offer him anything in another country. Whoever had sent her to mess with him, she was destined to mess with troubled boys. She heard his footsteps approaching her from behind.

She had changed her clothes, grabbed her things that were on the table. She felt that a very important part of her being would go with him. She didn’t think things would be the same after he walked out the door. Had she fallen in love with the Greek? That would be the last straw, but since she was with him, something inside her had healed, she no longer regretted that idiot Fernando. Her mind was completely filled with the memories she had lived with Antoni. And that change could not go unnoticed. She had given her innocence to a stranger and thought she had fallen in love with him, but she was crossing her fingers that this infatuation was only temporary.

-Well, gorgeous, I’d love to stay the night but I have to go. The earlier I get out of my meetings the more time I’ll have for you.

-It’s okay, don’t rush.

-You’ll be fine? -You don’t need anything? I can get it before I leave. She thought all she needed was him by her side.

-Don’t worry, I have everything I need here.

-All right, I have your number and you have mine, I’ll call you as often as I can. He kissed her on the lips.

-I told you that you don’t have to.

-Listen to me, I want to, and I will, I like you Andromeda and you can’t help it, because you feel the same way about me.

-You must go now. He caressed her cheek gently.

-I’ll call you, and I’ll come by tomorrow.

She nodded as they kissed each other warmly goodbye, he left the couch leaving an empty space next to her and in her heart, why did she feel empty? He opened the door, turned to look at her and gave her a beautiful smile, walked out and closed the door. She let out a sigh of sadness, her heart was wrinkled and she felt like crying. What nonsense, she said to herself, she cuddled up better with the blanket, held back the tears and continued watching the film until she fell fast asleep.

The next morning the light on her phone was flickering, she had some messages, she made herself more comfortable on the sofa. She had slept terribly, turned off the television and picked up the device that communicated with the outside world. Some texts were from her parents, her friend Peter, many from Fernando and only one from Antoni. Of course the first one she read was from the Greek.

He wished her good morning, and informed her that he would be at several meetings at the restaurant where they always met. He sent her many k****s and that he hoped to see her in the afternoon. She smiled. The next thing she did was to delete Fernando’s without reading them, then she called her parents and finally Peter, she didn’t tell him anything about her new friend. So they just talked about nonsense, letting her know that she was better than ever.

The days went by, and to Andromeda’s surprise, Antoni visited her every day. Some days he stayed with her, or she stayed at his magnificent house. Everything was going smoothly, and with each passing day it became more difficult for her to say goodbye to him. One morning he picked her up at her house because he wanted to take her sailing. They arrived at the dock and there was a huge white and blue yacht waiting for them, it was beautiful, luxurious and very well maintained. They got on and of course he was the captain himself. There were only the two of them at sea.

-This is incredible, Antoni!

-I knew you would like it.

-And where are we going?

-To meet my parents.

-We’ll what?! He was drinking some champagne and choked with shock.

-Don’t be scared, they’re very nice people.

-That’s not what I’m afraid of.

-And then what?

The idea that things were going too fast, and that she had thought wrong. He was very serious about her, but why her?

-I don’t know. Why do you want me to meet your parents?

-I’ve told them about you, and they want to meet you. Relax, nothing formal.

-Why did you tell them about me? -Because we’re dating.

-Because we’re dating.

-Do you always introduce them to all the girls you’re dating? -No!

-No! -You’re the first.

-For heaven’s sake! He got up from the perfectly white armchair and started pacing back and forth.

-Calm down my love. Everything will be all right, you’re perfect for me.

-What do you mean by that? She said looking at his face in horror.

-That I’m in love with you, Andromeda!

It was a lot of information to process in one day, visiting her parents and learning about her feelings. She never imagined he would propose to her. Who would fall in love so quickly? She wondered, and instantly her brain answered “yourself” it was amazing how she was betrayed by her own conscience. Everything was happening so fast, she had no time to think things through and Antoni was very excited about taking her to his parents. If they carried on like this they would end up getting married in two weeks, but was it bad?

Well, she liked the Greek, he was handsome, attentive, affectionate, he didn’t leave her alone in bed, he was the perfect master of love, he had taught her so many things that the reality was that she was more than happy for his teachings. But that didn’t mean that they would end in marriage, she was a mess and increasingly nervous. She felt bad for not responding to Antoni about his statement, but she wasn’t ready for that. If she was honest she thought it was just a fling. She didn’t see a declaration of love coming. It wasn’t long before they were about to disembark, they were both silent. She knew he was waiting for an answer from her, but she didn’t want to force things.
