True Love -
Chapter 42
Daren glared at his father, who had not made the trip at all, and in the end said nothing of value to him. It only left him with more doubts. But he should not take threats lightly. Lucian was the worst, most despicable and cruel wolf there was. Apart from him.
He walked out of the place as Lucian glared at him with wolfish eyes. He was stubborn, he would lose his head for that human. Honestly, she was a nuisance for Lucian, she ruined his plans. But at least he’d be away, it would give him time for his son to replace that damned albino wolf and impregnate her.
(…)
Three wolves and a human arrived wearily at a two-storey hut in a small abandoned village to the south. Shery surveyed the few buildings that were ramshackle, at least most of them. The one that looked the best was the one they were entering.
-It looks awful, but it’s the best looking of them all.
-What is this place?
-It used to be a wolf village, but their alpha passed away without leaving any heirs and no one wanted to take over. So they joined another pack.
-I understand. So this is all abandoned?
-That’s right. No one will come. Ethan answers him fully clothed.
-Are they always naked after… -Well, after they get…
-Yes, always. He replied with a wolfish grin that made Shery’s hair stand on end.
After all she’d been through, her heart still needed to love and be loved. And Ethan was willing to give her the love she needed. But how could she love again, if all of her was broken inside. The pieces of her soul were scattered all over the long road she had to walk.
-It will do you good to go upstairs and rest, Megan has arranged a room for you.
-And you?
-We’re pretty tough.
She hesitated before moving to retreat, the truth was she was tired. Being on Ethan’s back had been exhausting for a whole day with no power to rest. But she didn’t go very far because her hand was taken in Ethan’s.
-Shery, I…
-Don’t tell me anything yet, please, I don’t feel ready for anything. I’ve been through so much and…
-I’m sorry I didn’t protect her, or you.
Shery’s eyes crystallized into a pair of waterfalls running down her flushed cheeks.
-I don’t blame you.
-I feel guilty.
-She made her decision Ethan.
-But I should have taken better care of her.
-She didn’t die because of you.
The girl moved closer to Ethan, planting a k**s on his cheek. The k**s lasted longer than it should have, until she finally broke away from him. She gave him a sad smile and went upstairs to her room. Bathing and sleeping was the only thing she wanted at that moment.
-What about Shery? Megan asked, carrying a pile of firewood.
-She went upstairs to rest. She nodded with sadness in her eyes -Where’s JB?
-He’s doing a reconnaissance of the place.
-I understand. I’ll go look for him.
-I’ll try to make something to eat.
But before Ethan left in search of his friend, he came in his wolf form accompanied by a curious companion > What was she doing there? She approached them with a frown on her face.
-What are you doing here? she asked, growling.
-I followed them. Your father was furious to hear that you had left the village.
-How did you follow us? -Did you leave a trail?
-Don’t think me such a fool. I’m good at tracking without leaving a trail. He snorted back.
-You’d better be. You’ll be trouble.
-No more than they’re already in. I see you’ve found the human.
-Yes, and you’d better stay out of it.
-Don’t worry, I won’t eat her. He smiled back.
Ethan ran his hands over his face, feeling frustrated and tired. First he was dealing with the problem of Shery’s situation, and now this, Deysi wouldn’t let go of them at any moment.
-You’ll have to help albino. Megan said from behind her.
-Okay! She replies with a shrug.
(…)
Daren was in the village of the alpha Marcus, he decided to go in search of the albino once and for all. Unfortunately the wretch was not to be found, and he suspected that she had left with the wolf cub. Now the two women were in a place that was alien to him and that made him even angrier. As soon as he found them, they would see what he was capable of.
Nearby he saw several young women walking in the direction of the village. And he realised that the alpha albino was not the only white wolf that lived there.
The wild wolves eagerly entered Lucian’s cave, ran to meet him and crouched in respect as they stopped in front of him.
-Speak!
Night had come like lightning, everyone was in the hut resting. Shery had not yet come down to dinner, but no one would disturb her. She would come down as soon as she was ready to do so.
-What’s your plan Ethan? Deysi asked.
-Kill that alpha.
-I don’t think you can do it alone.
-I won’t let anyone die. I’ll take care of him personally.
-You’d better let them help you.
-That’s right, brother!
-I’ll help you too. The albino commented as well.
The boy didn’t argue again, his friend and sister could be very stubborn. But he knew a big fight was coming.
That night Shery didn’t come down from her room, but even though she was alone she hadn’t slept a wink. She was too sad to do so. And she should be happy to have escaped Daren’s clutches. She heard the door open behind her and tensed.
-Are you awake? Ethan’s voice soothed her.
-I can’t sleep. He mimicked her, but gave her space.
-Can I help with anything?
She simply looked at his face and smiled. He felt guilty for everything that had happened to her and her sister, and that wasn’t it. No one was to blame, they were marked and their fate was sealed. And she suspected that her own life was numbered, so why not love him for the little time she had left?
She brought her face close to his, to press her lips together, which Ethan gladly received. She ran her hands around his neck to pull him closer to her lips to deepen their encounter.
She pulled him down until she had him on top of her frail body, for Ethan’s was large and muscular. But that didn’t matter to her, feeling him on top of her was the best sensation she’d ever experienced.
-Are you sure?
-Yes.
He placed his hand on Shery’s waist gently as he continued to k**s her softly, as if he didn’t want to break her. Slowly he pulled up her nightgown, exposing her to his gaze. Ethan could see the bruises on her body and cursed to himself.
He kissed each one of them with the utmost gentleness. He caressed her body in such a way that she forgot everything that had happened, and by the look on Shery’s face he knew he was doing a good job.
He stripped her of every garment on her body, and those on his own body. Both lovers were completely naked, exploring each other. Ethan impregnated Shery’s body with his own, leaving his scent on every part of her body.
He settled between her legs as he kept kissing her lips. Slowly he worked his way deeper into her body drawing m***s from Shery. Ethan rammed into her hard, as if his life depended on it. And she gladly welcomed him inside.
The walls of her cavity contracted and he could feel it, Shery’s o****m was near. He wrapped his hands around her waist, pressing down hard, causing her to m**n loudly and writhe under Ethan’s muscular body.
She orgasmed wildly, while Ethan, being the gentleman that he was, joined her in the act, unloading his essence inside her and then collapsing next to his beloved’s body. Falling deeply asleep.
Several months later…
Ethan and the others were still in the cabin, away from everyone, fortunately Deysi and Shery had gotten along well. Or well, they hardly ever treated each other, they always avoided each other and that turned out to be a good thing because they were able to get along for the months they had been in that cabin.
-It’s been a long time Ethan, I think it’s time to go home.
-We will, but just the two of us.
-What about the girls?
-We’ll leave them, they’ll be fine here.
-I don’t feel very convinced. JB replies.
He understood his friend’s concerns, especially for his sister’s wellbeing, he didn’t want anything to happen to his sister. And he understood how his best friend felt about his partner.
-They’ll be fine, Megan and Deysi have trained well enough to defend themselves.
-But not from that alpha.
-I know! It’s only for a couple of days.
The young men talked to the girls about their plans to leave, and although they all objected, they understood that it was the best thing to do. So many months had passed and they had given no news to the alpha about their whereabouts.
In the end, that afternoon they set off as a pair of wolves who were lost in the forest. Shery was very worried about Ethan’s departure, she felt she would never see him again but she shouldn’t have those negative feelings in her head.
After their first meeting that night the two had formed an incredible bond, becoming even closer. Since then, they had shared a bed and a heart. She felt fulfilled when she had him by her side, but now that he was gone she sensed something was wrong.
-It’s going to be okay Shery! Megan comforted him by putting her arm around his shoulders.
-I hope so,” she replied with a long sigh.
-We’d better get something going before the night falls on us. snorted Deysi behind them.
