Twice Rejected
Chapter 17

DONNA’S POV

When the drunk woman looked up, she saw a man brutally breaking the bones of those thugs that wanted to take advantage of her. Although she was drunk, somehow, she trusted the man. She felt safe and calm within.

Donna watched as the man broke the arms of each and every one of them before they quickly fled from him. Her beautiful eyes looking at him as a hero.

Drawing closer to him, she noticed the face was a little blurry but still smiled broadly at him. Clasping his arms, Donna drew him closer to herself.

“You…are…very strong! You beat up…all those stupid…foolish people! Come, I will reward you…” Donna told him, bringing him closer for a k!ss.

Knowing that she was drunk, he gently evaded her touch. He didn’t want her to misunderstand him. But Donna wasn’t happy to be rejected. She was so pissed off by his behavior.

“Hey! Don’t you like…me? I thought you wanted me as your mate? Why are you avoiding now? Ha! You don’t love me too?” Donna said, slurring in her words.

“It’s not that. Miss Donna, you are drunk. Let me take you home.”

“You are… my mate… right? Take me to…your place! Right now! Didn’t you see how Alpha took his mate home? Take me to.. your place.” She insisted with a pout.

Though Donna was drunk, she was still as attractive as ever. Miko Magnus was confused on how to reject her. There was a possibility that she might be scolded by her parents if they see her drunk.

But at the same time, he doesn’t want her to think that he took advantage of her.

Donna, who was waiting patiently for him to answer her, could see the confusion on his face. And without warning, she held his hand and started dragging him with her.

Shaking his head, Miko decided to just take her home and leave her alone. She would be sober in the morning. As the girl held his hand, she almost lost her balance but he quickly held her up.

Seeing how clumsy she was, he gently lifted her up. He took swift strides all the way to his house. He knew she was going to be pissed at him.

Immediately they got to his house, Donna started making a fuss and refused to let go of Miko.

“Where are you going? How can you leave me alone? Am I not attractive enough? Come on, k!ss me… please… just once… arrrgh! Why am I even begging you?”

“We are mates right? So we are free to make love as we want, right? Hey! Don’t you dare remove my hand from your chest.” Donna kept urging Miko.

“Donna, you are drunk…”

“And so what? Isn’t it better this way? Our first night will be so much fun!”

“What are you doing, Donna. Please stop putting your hand there…” Miko was becoming frustrated by her clinginess. How would he deal with her now?

“Why? Why won’t I? Aren’t you my mate… my man? I can put my hands wherever I want!” Donna replied stubbornly.

“I might lose control… please.” Miko Magnus said, taking a deep breath to control himself. But his body was on fire and Donna was not helping matters! She refused to let him go.

After some arguing and dodging, she finally grabbed him and threw him on the bed.

“Make love to me… please… I want you to make love to me…” Her clear voice sounded in his ears.

“You are drunk, Donna. Please stop!”

“I would only stop when you make love to me.” She said as she lowered her head to k!ss him.

Perhaps due to exhaustion of running around for sometime or the attraction he still had for her, he couldn’t resist anymore.

Miko willingly accepted whatever fate had for them as they plunged into the depth of romantic ecstasy. The m***s and grunts added to the mystery of the night.

Though the night was long yet short, the couple intertwined on the bed were lost in their own world.

“How dare you! You ugly filthy thing! How dare you take advantage of me?” Donna screamed at the man bringing in a cup of tea for her.

“Excuse me? What did you just say? That I took advantage of you?” Miko was obviously annoyed, but tried to press down on his anger.

“Yes, you forced yourself on me knowing fully well that I was drunk! How could you do that to me?” Donna said as she burst into tears.

Miko, who had wanted to retort, held back when he saw her crying. He knew this was going to happen. That was why he tried to stop whatever she wanted to do.

He blamed himself for not controlling himself. Looking pissed and frustrated, he drop the coffee on the bedside.

“I am really sorry about what happened last night. I am ready to take responsibility of whatever the outcome. Please forgive me.” He pleaded, looking at the crying girl.

“I didn’t want to ever see your face ever again or else I will kill you!” Donna screamed as she quickly changed into her wolf and dashed out of the house.

Three months later, Donna was very sick and had to go to the hospital. On the test carried out, her parents got to know that she was pregnant.

In anger, her father walked up to her and demanded to know how she got pregnant.

“How did you get pregnant? You clearly told us you don’t have a mate! Did you fool around?” Her father asked angrily.

With wide eyes, she stared at her furious father and was at loss for words. She was pregnant?

“Answer my damn question, girl!”

“I… I lied… I do have… a mate.” Donna stuttered in fear… and anger, at Miko. How could he do this to her?

“You lied to us? Why would you lie to us?” Her mother asked.

With anger, Donna’s father turned to her again.” That’s not the main point… for now. Tell me who is the father of the child?”

“Father… I…”

“Answer me now!” Her father growled loudly.

“My… my… my mate… he..”

“Who is he? Why are you hiding him?” Her mother asked.

“He is Miko Magnus… the Gamma.” Donna blurted out in fear of her father’s anger.

“Well, since we know the father. Then it’s fine. I don’t see a reason why you are hiding him.”

“I don’t love him father.”

“But you allowed him to touch you?”

“It was a mistake.”

“And that mistake will lead to your marriage. You are getting married to him in three days time.”

“Father!”

But her father didn’t listen to her plea. According to him, he won’t allow her taint the family’s honour.
