Chapter 186

When Yvette heard that, she held Xavier's hand and hugged him. Then, she gently kissed his lips. That was all she planned to do.

However, he set the plates down and placed his hand behind her head. Then, he kissed her more passionately.

Xavier didn't know why, but when they were doing something so intimately, he couldn't see any emotions in her eyes at all. He felt upset and bit her lip. 1 Yvette winced in pain. She wanted to push him away, but he grabbed her hand tightly. So, she bit himback for revenge, and she didn't stop until she tasted blood. Xavier breathed heavily as he held her face with his big hand. "Look at me and say my name."

She looked up and noticed the reddened lips she had bitten. "Xav." She was emotionless and wasn't the same young woman who only had him in her eyes anymore. Xavier's heart ached, and his eyes reddened a little. Then, he picked her up. He didn't care about her rejection anymore and placed her on the couch. "Say my name!"

Yvette didn't know what was wrong with him. Sometimes, he was gentle. Then, he would randomly be like this. His emotions were unpredictable.

"Xav!" she coldly said his name, and there was no hint of emotions at all.

When Xavier heard her, he felt like there was something stuck in his chest. He didn't say anything else and carried her into the bedroom.

When they were done, the breakfast had gone cold. Xavier wanted to send someone to get them more food, but Yvette stopped him. After all, they could reheat the food in the room.

After they did that, they started eating. However, it didn't taste the same anymore.

Yvette suddenly had a realization about what Xavier had said about starting over again.

It was like this breakfast. They could reheat it after it became cold. However, it wouldn't taste the same

as it used to.

After they had their breakfast, Xavier habitually drove the car to the place where Yvette had grown up.

Someone had tidied up the old and rundown house, and there weren't any weeds or fallen leaves at all. It looked as if there was someone living there.

While Yvette was stunned, the neighbor noticed their car. When she got out of the vehicle, the neighbor couldn't help being shocked. "Yvvy! Didn't you die?"

Before Yvette could return to her senses, Xavier got out of the car from the other side and said, "It was all a misunderstanding."

After saying that, he walked to the house first. Yvette was curious and wondered how he knew the

neighbor.

She politely smiled at the neighbor and followed Xavier into the house. It was so clean inside that there

wasn't even a speck of dust.

"Why do you seem so familiar with this place?" she asked.

He stopped in his tracks and turned his head to look at her. "Because I knew you would come back."

She didn't know how he had often come here alone while she had been gone. He had wanted to wait for her there. After some time, he had sent some people over to tidy the house. Yvette looked at his aloof side profile and asked, "Why? What if I had really been dead?"

Xavier pursed his lips tightly for a long while before saying, "Didn't you say you were upset? How could you have been willing to die?"

When she heard that, she couldn't help smiling bitterly in secret. She took a few steps forward and mumbled, "You sure are confident."

She thought she had been too humble in the past, which had made him think that she would never leave

him.

Xavier had thought so at first too. However, he was becoming unsure. That was why he brought her there.

"I want to show you something."

Xavier took her to a bedroom and opened the door when they reached the room.

When Yvette saw what was inside, her eyes began to tear up. She stood in place and couldn't believe her eyes for a long time. BIG SALE: 3500 bonus free fou you
