Unclaimed Luna’s Desire
Chapter 54 Paul's Drugging

Paul's POV:

I felt the warmth and wetness on my chest, spreading like wildfire. Ellie was lying on me, sobbing her heart out. She must've been really moved.

She was always so pure.

I glanced down and saw Ellie's soft hair, just begging to be touched.

It was so soft, like a little kitten.

Ellie was mine.

While she kept her head down, I couldn't help but smile.

Thinking about Aelros' angry face, I wanted to show Ellie off to him, but I couldn't. I just couldn't bear to.

I'd been keeping this treasure to myself for a while now. I'd been trying to make Ellie happy, keeping her close, taking her out for meals like an old lover, watching movies, or even just enjoying a simple fireworks display. And every time, I saw her eyes light up, making it hard to look away.

Even when I gave her something ordinary, something I didn't care about, she was so grateful, treating me with such affection.

She was like a hedgehog. I'd toss her a piece of unwanted bread, and she'd roll over, showing me her softest parts, letting me touch her.

I couldn't describe the feeling. It was amazing.

This was a kind of reward I never got from anyone else.

She was like a sunflower, always lively and optimistic.

Even my dark heart felt the warmth when I was close to Ellie.

Walking on thin ice all year round, facing the cold wind alone, but when I hugged Ellie and felt her warmth, I couldn't let go.

Ellie was my only source of warmth. My survival depended on her, making it impossible to let go.

I finally got why Aelros and Weslin were so obsessed with Ellie.

I was trapped too, unable to break free.

Ellie lifted her tear-streaked face from my chest, looking like a crying kitten.

I gently wiped her tears with a handkerchief and fixed her hair. "Let's eat, Ellie. You must be starving. Last night, I lost control. I'm sorry." "No. It was my fault first." Ellie shyly lowered her head.

I saw her fidgeting with her clothes. It was too cute.

I couldn't take my eyes off her, watching her eat like a little hamster, cheeks puffed up.

For a moment, I didn't want to just temporarily shelter her. I wanted Ellie to be with me forever.

At first, I was just interested in Ellie, but in my heart, she was no different from other women without wolves.

Until I had her, Ellie nestled in my arms crying, like fragile crystal, so beautiful.

At that moment, I wanted to possess her with love.

But Aelros had come back, still alive. It was a pity, even though I despised his father, the current Alpha of the Pack.

I couldn't confront Aelros, because I still needed him to replace his awful father.

But I didn't want to lose Ellie either.

I hadn't had enough fun, finally replaceing such a satisfying toy.

But right now, I felt that it wouldn't be a bad thing if Aelros died, as long as I could have Ellie completely.

It was ridiculous that William was so foolish, despite my hints, he still hadn't succeeded.

That idiot hadn't even affected Aelros.

To avoid arousing Aelros' suspicion and to keep tabs on his latest moves, I had to pretend to ignore what was happening every day. I had to comfort, and even stabilize the almost out-of-control Aelros, then hug Ellie every day when I got home.

Passing by a store, I spotted a necklace shaped like Moonlight Herb in the display case. It reminded me of the herbs at Aelros' place.

So, I walked in and bought it for her.

If Aelros could do it, so could I.

Seeing Ellie's joyful expression, I knew my time with her was running out, but I had no way out.

I had to make Ellie like me as quickly as possible in the limited time I had.

I hoped that at least I wouldn't just be a regular friend in her heart.

Ellie always lowered her standards for the weak, treating them gently.

She was so kind.

That was great, but in the Pack where the winner took all, it was a fatal flaw.

I felt like I could use this flaw.

I knew girls her age were the most soft-hearted, the most naive.

To evoke Ellie's sympathy, I even injected myself with a potion that would weaken me.

Watching the transparent liquid enter my veins, I felt my strength rapidly fading.

If an enemy showed up, I wouldn't stand a chance.

But I was willing to take the risk. After all, the harder something was to get, the more precious it was.

Soon I had a fever, and I couldn't even finish my meal.

As I got up and pushed the sliced steak towards Ellie, my feet felt like they were stepping on a sponge, and I felt dizzy.

I fell onto the dining table, just as planned.

The sharp cutlery even cut my cheek. It was a minor injury for me, but I heard Ellie scream, "Paul! Are you okay? Hold on!" Ellie's frail body propped me up and laboriously brought me to the bedroom.

She was too cute.

My gaze stayed on Ellie. She was like a diligent little bee, searching for medicine everywhere for me.

I grabbed Ellie's hand, took the wet towel from my forehead. "Help me."

"You have a fever, Paul! How can I help you?" Ellie held my hand, her eyes full of worry. "I'm looking for medicine for you."

"There's no cold medicine at home." I sighed, feeling annoyed.

"I can go out and buy it for you." Ellie looked at the still rainy weather outside, her tone determined.

"It's raining outside." Seeing Ellie's worried expression, I pressed my index finger against her lips, shaking my head. "It's already late. I can't let you go out alone. It's too dangerous." "What should we do?" Ellie was so anxious she was about to cry. I could even feel the sweat in her palms from her anxiety.

Why was Ellie so cute?

I didn't even have to drug her, and Ellie was already following my lead, without her own thoughts.

Guiding Ellie to sit on top of me and holding her thin waist with both hands, I suggested, "Let's exercise a bit. Let me sweat it out."

I saw Ellie hesitate, covering her mouth as she coughed a few times.

I deliberately turned red in the face, causing the bed to shake with my coughing.

I was sure Ellie would definitely soften.

Sure enough, Ellie quickly patted my back. Although hesitantly, she agreed to my request, "Ok, fine. I agree."

With her permission, I rolled over and pinned Ellie beneath me, but she pushed me away.

"But I have a condition," Ellie said.

"Go on."

Ellie said seriously, "It has to be my initiative. You're too weak. I'm worried about your body getting hurt."

I didn't expect Ellie's request to be this, and my heart was blooming with joy.

I pressed my forehead against Ellie's and agreed, "Okay, I'll listen to you."
