Unclaimed Luna’s Desire -
Chapter 8 Ellie with a Fever
Ellie's POV:
As I got up from the ground, I was covered in forest mud and moss from head to toe.
This was a dangerous place, so I needed to leave quickly.
I was at the edge of pack territory, where bloody fights frequently occurred.
Many rogues wolves without a pack or those exiled from one lurked here to survive. They often ambushed and killed unprotected children, lost humans, and even lone wolves.
My head felt heavy and painful, with my brain burning hot while my body felt cold. Despite the relentless torment, I fought to stay conscious. Otherwise, those rogues would likely capture me, bite me, and even eat me. However, having been beaten many times, I was too weak. My body was covered in fierce wounds, and every movement caused a wave of pain throughout.
It hurt so much!
I couldn't go on anymore, so I had to rely on resting by the nearest big tree.
I was too weak!
My strength was quickly draining and my breathing became heavy. Even my consciousness was getting blurry.
Just as my eyelids were about to close, a dark figure suddenly flashed before my eyes.
I widened my eyes alertly, pressing myself tightly against the tree trunk.
"Who's there?" I asked.
I tensed up, even though my wounds were bleeding due to muscle tension.
Was it a rogue?
My body warned me that I couldn't withstand any more harm.
I cautiously scanned the surroundings.
The next moment, a tall figure suddenly appeared in front of me, his elegant figure enveloping me in the dark rainy night.
Even with just one glance, I instantly recognized the familiar figure. It was Aelros.
Why was he here?
I blinked in disbelief, but at that moment, my tense body relaxed.
I trusted that Aelros wouldn't harm me.
Aelros took slow steps toward me.
I was safe.
Then I couldn't hold myself up any longer and passed out.
Aelros' POV:Ellie's face was pale and covered in scars. If it weren't for her labored breathing from the fever, I might have thought I was holding a corpse in my arms.In just a few hours apart, she had become so weak. I brought her to a nearby cabin.
This was the center of this deep forest, the safest and most secluded place in my territory.
On the day of the transformation, when I had been drugged, I had instinctively carried her back to this cabin.
And now, I brought her back to this secret base.
I laid Ellie on a soft bed.
Her thin limbs were covered in wounds, many of which had turned white from being washed by the rain.
Having been injured in the arena many times, I was well-familiar with these scars. They were not from intimacy, but from violent beatings.
Even after all this time, I could still smell the scent I had left on her, as if she were my possession.
There were even bite marks on her neck.
During wolf sex, the male wolf would use his fangs to control the female wolf beneath him to prevent her from escaping.
Of course, true mates would mark each other's necks, leaving their scents on one another, so everyone would know about the mate bond. But clearly, Ellie was just an accident to me.
As the wounds became saturated with muddy rainwater mixed with sewage, I had to wipe her body with warm water to speed up the healing process.
The moment my fingers touched her wounds, she shuddered, unable to help but moan, "So painful..."
Ellie weakly moaned, her voice overlapping with the sounds of her breathing beneath me last night, making my cock instantly harden.
The tip of my cock stretched my pants into a high tent.
Fuck!
I didn't understand why, but Ellie seemed to possess a unique allure. Even the slightest movement from her, such as her current cry of pain, would provoke unexpected reactions from my cock.I wanted to fuck her! My fingers couldn't help but touch her cheek, and Ellie unconsciously leaned into my touch. She seemed to trust me completely."A stray dirty little cat," I teased.
As my fingers brushed her smooth forehead, I was taken aback by the intense heat. It was scorching!
I hadn't anticipated that she would be unable to heal.
Werewolves typically could heal themselves, but Ellie was clearly an exception—she was as fragile as a human.
I frowned and was a little worried that her continuous fever might kill her.
Wrapped bandages not only exposed the weakness of the wolf to injury but also hindered attacking movements in battle. So I usually didn't prepare any medicine in the cabin. But Ellie was too weak. Any secondary infection from a minor wound could be fatal for her.
Without any prepared medicine, I had to contact Paul through mindlink. "Paul, prepare some fever-reducing medicine."
"What's going on, Aelros? Are you seriously injured and about to die?" Paul said incredulously, "Even last time, when you fought the rogues and had a gaping wound in your stomach that nearly exposed your organs, you simply stitched it up and let it heal on its own!"
"It's Ellie," I explained.
I had done enough for her.
If I ever discovered that Ellie might be my enemy, I would kill her immediately. However, given the good experience from last night, I decided to help her a bit now. At the very least, she won't die tonight.
Ellie tossed and turned on the bed, sweat dripping from her forehead.
I saw her tightly wrapped in the sheets, looking as snug as a bug in a rug.
I took a deep breath and walked toward the door, ready to leave.
Leaving Ellie to rest in my cabin was already generous enough. After all, we were just strangers who had met once.
Well, we were strangers who had had sex once at most.
I took her virginity last night, and today I saved her life, which was fair.
As my hand touched the doorknob, I heard Ellie urgently calling my name from behind, "Aelros. Don't go."
I turned around to replace Ellie looking at me with a dazed expression.
I hadn't expected that, after losing consciousness, she would call out my name.
She was really a poor little cat.
However, I didn't turn back. I had already shown enough mercy to Ellie today.
Seeing that I didn't stop, Ellie lay on the bed, reaching out her hand toward me, trying to stop me. "Aelros..." Jesus!
I gasped for breath, struggling in place for a long time.
In the end, I decided to walk out the door, leaving Ellie alone in the cabin to fend for herself.
