"Did you hear her? She told you to let her go! Stop clinging to her like a simp!" Tyler barked.

He was happy that Hera told Bernard to let go of her first instead of him. It gave him more reason to believe that they had broken up.

On top of that, it seemed like Hera was the one who dumped Bernard. This consolidated Tyler's resolution to win her over to go against Bernard together.

"You too. Let me go!" Hera turned to face Tyler.

Tyler was baffled at that.

"Let her go. Don't you dare steal her away from me," Bernard growled.

"I dyed my hair her favorite color. Could you do the same?"

Bernard scoffed. "White is her favorite color."

His hand felt itchy, but he didn't mind it. He removed Tyler's hand from Hera's arm forcefully before hugging her.

It was as if Bernard was trying to drag her away from the plague.

Tyler felt his palm getting itchy. The sight of Bernard hugging Hera so tightly made him give up on the idea of snatching her back. He stood by to watch the show unfold.

One of the men finally let go of Hera. Connor motioned at Fiona to entertain the guests together.

Meanwhile, Lorna was filled with jealousy. Her eyes didn't leave Bernard, who was hiding Hera like she was a treasure.

Lorna liked Bernard. Ever since she discovered that Bernard was Tyler's enemy, she fell head over heels for this handsome man.

She thought that they were of the same kind because they shared the same enemy.

Meanwhile, Bernard pulled Hera to a corner.

"Let me go first. I applied something on me." She couldn't free herself from Bernard at all. Her strength was nothing against his.

He didn't listen to her reason as he was very upset by her demand.

"I'm not letting you go!" he said sternly, acting like a child.

Hera grew helpless. "Don't you feel itchy?"

Now that she brought it up, he felt his whole body getting itchy. Even the back of his hands were covered with red patches like an allergic reaction. She massaged her forehead. It was actually a tactic to keep Tyler off. She didn't expect Bernard to be a victim too.

"Stop scratching." She stopped

Bernard's hand from scratching, but she released him right away. She

recalled that she had applime

on her palms too.

There was a guest lounge at the ballroom, so she suggested, "Let's go to the guest lounge first."

But Bernard didn't budge and fixed his eyes on her. "I think I'm suffering from an allergic reaction. I feel sick. I can't move. Hold me."

Hera rolled up his sleeve to reveal his arm, which was covered with rashes.

He was telling the truth.

"Are you allergic to soapberry seed powder?" she asked.

The ingredients she used were only soapberry seed powder, taro powder, and distilled water. He had taro before and had used distilled powder as an ingredient. This was the first time she used soapberry seed powder.

"Yeah," he responded.

A serious allergic reaction could lead to a shock. There was no time to waste.

She helped him to the guest lounge and settled him on the couch. "Hold on. Don't scratch. I'll go take my needle kit. I'll be right back."

She headed outside to look for Tyler. She left the newly bought needle kit in his car.

Laying on the couch, Bernard did his

best to tolerate the pain and

itchiness. Rashes had crawled up to his neck, and his forehead was covered with sweat. He began to struggle to breathe.

Soon, the door opened.
