William's head turned at the force, but he grinned even more widely. He turned and grabbed Tiffany's hands, pressing her down on the bed. She struggled desperately and kicked him. "You asshole, William!"

"Yes, I'm an asshole!" He gritted his teeth. "I'll show you how much of an asshole I am!"

He leaned down to kiss her.

"What are you two doing?" Brianna screamed. She tossed her thermos away and lunged over to

hit William.

The moment he turned to look at her, Brianna paused in the act. Her hand remained raised in mid-air.

William turned again to look at Tiffany. "Tiffany, don't provoke Vincent. You can't handle him!" He let go. Tiffany scrambled up from the bed and slapped him again.

He frowned but didn't say anything.

Brianna was momentarily stunned. Then she screamed and lunged at Tiffany. "Are you crazy, Tiffany? How dare you hit my man?"

She flailed her fists with those beautifully painted nails and tried to hit Tiffany. But as she was about to land a hit, William grabbed hold of her. "William!" Brianna's eyes bulged in disbelief, and tears brimmed in her eyes.

He was defending Tiffany!

William dragged Brianna out of the dorm. When they reached the car, Brianna pushed his arm away and wept. "What is the meaning of this, William?" William turned aside and looked at her impatiently. "What do you mean?"

"What were you doing? You got rid of me on purpose so that you could fool around with her? Not only that, you defended her even though she hit you!" "That's right!"

She hadn't expected him to admit it straightforwardly. Brianna didn't know what to say. She sobbed for a while and then asked aggrievedly, "What about me, then? What am I to you?" William lowered his head for a moment. "You know how you schemed against me. I wanted to take responsibility for you, but how do you explain Jenson?"

"Jenson..." Brianna's eyes flashed, but she said firmly, "I told you that I don't know who he is. Tiffany found him and is using him to frame me!"

"Do you really believe what you're saying?" William was unusually calm.

Although he knew what had happened between Brianna and Jenson, he wasn't angry. In fact, he felt as if he had been released.

In the past he had always felt like the one in the wrong because he had hurt both Tiffany and Brianna. Now that he knew Brianna's true nature, the guilt he felt toward her had disappeared.

Brianna wanted to say something else, but he took out a stack of photos and tossed them on the hood of the car. "Look at them yourself."

Brianna went over to look at them. They were photos taken from surveillance footage of her and Jenson going in and out of a motel! The earliest photos were taken three months ago! Brianna was stunned into silence.

William looked at her and said, "Before you try to defend yourself, you should check if you've covered your tracks properly! Brianna, you really are something!"

He said the last words through gritted teeth.

If it hadn't been for Brianna's trap, things between him and Tiffany would never have reached this point. He didn't know if he would still have any chance of winning her back and going back to the way things used to be

Brianna shook her head. "The things between Jenson and I are a thing of the past, I broke things off with him when + got together with you. William, trust me. I really do like you.

"I'm always around Tiffany. When I see how well you treat her and how she's the only one you can see, do you know how jealous I feel?"
