Waited For The Luna
Chapter 61

Luka’s POV

“Mommy is up!” He repeated.

“What?” I said looking at him and then to Bellamy. Is he saying the truth? Is Bellamy awake?

I then took him in my arms and walk over to Bellamy. Her cheeks were stained with tears.

“Bellamy?” I called. I put my hand on her cheeks but she still wasn’t awake.

I sighed in defeat.

“It’s okay if you’re not ready. I still believe you’ll come back.” I whispered before kissing her forehead. “Now how about I take you for some snacks.”

Bellamy’s POV

I’m here Luka. Just wait for me.

I was having a dream. In that dream, I was paralyzed and couldn’t move. I lifted my head and I was able to breathe I was in a room filled with darkness. I got up on my feet weakly but I ran as fast as I can. I have to come back to Luka and our baby. I ran endlessly for hours and hours I didn’t stop even if I felt tired. After the endless abyss, I found a white light and ran towards it, each step I took was heavier than the other. I reached for the light and opened my eyes taking a deep breath.

I could finally open my eyes fully. My head was light and spinning around but I tried to sit up and look at my surroundings. My limbs were numb from the amount of time I was lying down. I had a feeling I’m in Luka’s house. Comet’s crib was on one side. I was hooked on an IV. I could feel my cheekbones through my skin.

“Luka!” I said. A little louder than I could. My throat was all dry making my voice hoarse. I tried with all my strength to stand up but when I reached the floor I fell. My muscles and bones have weakened being in a lying state all this time. I then grabbed the clock on the bedside table and began pounding it on the floor. “Luka!” I tried yelling.

The door then opened and a male nurse helped me up from the ground. “Call the pack doctor. She’s awake.” He ordered another female nurse.

I was then weakly wheeled into a car and then straight to the infirmary.

“Where’s Luka?” I asked in my haze state. They were doing all sorts of tests. I then fell back to sleep.

Luka’s POV

I was at the packhouse for the wedding ceremony that I was officiating.

Ellie was finally getting married to another pack’s beta Allan. She wanted the wedding to be held here because she was going to spend the rest of her days in his pack. It was both their second chance in mating and decided to get married when they met 6 months ago. Ellie lost all her feelings for me the moment she met this big beta.

After the ceremony, I received a call from the infirmary.

“She’s awake! Alpha she’s awake!” Someone screamed through the phone. I then excused myself from the gathering and quickly drove to the infirmary.

When I got there Bellamy was sitting on a wheelchair in the garden. She had her eyes closed and was feeling the air touch her face. It was finally her awake. Her body was all weak but she was awake.

“Bellamy!” I cried. She was awakened from her dazed state and stared at me. Tears clouded her eyes.

“Luka!” She said in her hoarse voice. I run towards her and hugged her tightly.

“You’re back! I can’t believe your back.” I said cupping her cheeks.

“I don’t even know-how. But I’m here with you again. I’m in your arms again.” She said as she started crying. It was painful to see her cry.

“Shhh! Don’t cry. You’re body is recovering.” I said wiping her tears. I placed a k**s on her forehead.

“Where’s our son?” She asked.

“He’s with Noah now. I can’t bring him to a hospital but once we get out you’ll meet him.” I told her and she nodded.

After a few days, Bellamy could finally eat food. A week after we were allowed to come home. Luckily Bellamy was healing. Her muscles and bones were damaged that’s why she couldn’t walk but with a few more therapy and she could finally walk on her own.

Everyone was waiting in the living room. Both our families and friends. I wheeled Bellamy in and everyone was crying. Comet walked up to me looking at his mommy.

“Comet. You know her right?”

“Yah! She’s mommy.” He said.

Bellamy’s tears started falling. She reached out her hand towards Comet and he quickly took it. Bellamy hugged him tightly.

“Yes, baby. I’m your mommy.”

It was a warming sight. Bellamy fought hard to be here.

After a few greetings, I took Bellamy up to the room to rest only to come back down for dinner. Bellamy insisted on feeding Comet, while I feed her. He was sitting on her lap, eating the vegetable on his plate.

“Mommy, eat.” He said feeding her some broccoli. The next thing I know Comet was feeding Bellamy and I was now treated as an outsider.

“I can’t believe you get jealous of your son.” She sneered noticing my indifferent look.

After dinner. Everyone went home and allowed Bellamy to rest. I carried her back to our room and helped her run a bath. Once the bathtub was set, I took off our clothes and lowered our bodies to the water.

“What are your plans now?” She asked.

“Whatever you want my love. My only plan is to get you healthy and then let everything fall into place.”

“You were planning to bury me?”

“It’s not like that. I thought you wanted to finally rest. But I couldn’t do it.”

She told me about meeting her birth mother and Maya. She also mentioned hearing Ellie in our room and I defended.

“I only signed the marriage license because I was officiating her wedding,” I explained. She brushed the issue aside and pressed her nose to my neck.

“I want us to get married, Luka. And then I’ll continue working as a doctor. Would that be okay?”

“Anything you want.”
